forgive my ignorance but I have not yet tried IVF so I have to ask what do you have to drink at transfer time? and why? and why is it painful? looks like I have alot to learn still when we do try IVF I will be asking you all for advice

Some Drs do an u/s-guided embryo transfer, so you need a full (or half full) bladder for the abdominal u/s. So, the drink is water and the pain is from having a full bladder and holding it.

I've never had an u/s-guided transfer. Your FS will be able to tell you whether they do them with or without u/s.

Had two early blasts transferred this morning - I'm so so happy as we've never had blasts before so I'm hoping its a good sign! :D:D:D

Bunnyfeet that's awesome getting 2 blasts transfered. My fingers & toes are crossed for you.

Afm - next bt is Friday. Just plodding along hoping body is doing its job. I am on no support so feeling great but of course scared something will go wrong like last time. Trying to stay positive. This is the one!

Beau, GL for your BT on Friday. I'm also on no support in this cycle, I feel like I should be on something lol. I swear I had to take the crinone gel during all my cycles, but my IVF nurse said that going by the computer/record, I didn't take it with my FET in 2009. She said crinone was only to be used with fresh transfers only, not with FETs. Oh well, I guess I have to trust her.

Thanks for thinking of me today girls. Scan showed my little snowflake still has a heartbeat and had grown since last week. Bleed has gotten bigger so still just have to 'wait it out' and continue with viability scans. Next scan on Monday.

MissB & Bunny- Hope you have some little ebryos getting very snug. Praying for you both Xx
