Hi everyone :) DH working at home an extra day this week so yippee I get the car to go into town! Limited time on internet though - could only get a 15 min session.
Kell, congratulations on those good numbers - it's awesome! I wish all the best for your EPU coming up soon, hun :)
Peta, thanks for your comments and reminding me about strength - I needed that and it has helped me today :)
Tish - I've been thinking of you too... Cycle buddies! I am wishing you all the best for your blood test on Monday, and I will be thinking of you heaps and hope you are feeling ok for now. Hugs!
I only have a couple of minutes left, so hello to everyone else, and thank you for the comments I have replied too - sorry! :(
I had myself convinced AF was going to come on time, but she hasn't, another HPT this morning was faintly positive this time, and I still feel like AF is about to arrive any moment, but I'll just have to hang out and hope nothing happens until b/t Monday.
1 minute left on this session! Will update again on Tuesday after b/t.
Hope everyone is well,
Miss C

Hi everyone :) DH working at home an extra day this week so yippee I get the car to go into town! Limited time on internet though - could only get a 15 min session. I got a cancellation and now have an extra hour to be on the internet! - I'm going to add to my original post here in red
Kell, congratulations on those good numbers - it's awesome! I wish all the best for your EPU coming up soon, hun :)
Peta, thanks for your comments and reminding me about strength - I needed that and it has helped me today :) Lots and lots of good luck with the continuation of your cycle - I have no doubt your doctor will have taken the path that they feel will give you to best result.
Tish - I've been thinking of you too... Cycle buddies! I am wishing you all the best for your blood test on Monday, and I will be thinking of you heaps and hope you are feeling ok for now. Hugs!
Salt - I hope you're doing ok, hun. Thanks for your positive, encouraging words - they mean a lot :)
FG - GL with the acupuncture. I hear it's really good for job stress too! :P It's good to being doing something positive for your own wellbeing, hun.
Meredith - good luck with your b/t and scan over the weekend and Monday. Fingers crossed and will be hoping that lining is looking good!
I had myself utterly convinced AF was going to come on time, but she hasn't: another HPT this morning was faintly positive this time, and I still feel like AF is about to arrive any moment, but I'll just have to hang out and hope nothing happens until b/t Monday. I feel like AF is still coming as I've got pretty consistent cramping and although AF was due yesterday, the spotting I've had since Tuesday has now started to increase last night and this morning and unfortunately it's getting a bit brighter and fresher (sorry for TMI). I'm pretty worried I'm going through a chemical preg. I'll just have to wait it out until Monday (will try not to do too many more HPTs!) and see what the b/t tells us.
Will update again on Tuesday after b/t - I need lots of sticky vibes for now!!!
Hope everyone is well - and hello to everyone to whom I haven't written personals.

Hey everyone,
sorry I'm just logging on quickly from my mum's computer but wanted to post that EPU went along OK today, I still only had the two folli's but they successfully collected 1 egg. Although I should probably be feeling very disappointed at only 1, I'm actually very relieved it wasn't ZERO, which I was stressing about !!! Just hope the 1 they got was a beautiful one, and I get good news tomorrow about it developing nicely. Because I only had 1 egg we of course had to do ICSI - man it's expensive when you think that if I'd had 6 eggs collected, it would have been the same price as what we paid for only 1 !! (unless I'm mistaken!!)
But I know of a friend of a friend who only got one egg at pickup which fertilised and she's now 5 months pregnant... so there's still hope ! But if not - at least I know what to expect with the IVF procedures and can face it again. The doc says that they'd do things differently next time now they know I had a low response to the doseage given.
All the best to everyone.. sorry I'm not staying for personals today but I'll be back on the weekend!
-
Good luck Deni, I hope its a good one - quality over quantity. I had heaps of follis last time, got 11 eggs and ended up with 2 not so her embies - so we are going for quality over quantity this time as well. I think the first cycle is always a bit of a gamble/test cycle for everyone involved. Hopefully you won't require a subsequent cycle but if you did, things would possibly be different. All the best!

Deni GL :bluedust: I do hope that is a strong little one as it does only take one relax and wait for the good news :)
Kell - How are you?
-
Hi ladies,
Sorry for lack of personals. Still trying to get a grip on where everyone is at.
PLC1805 - you HAVE had it tough enough darl, regardless of needing AC or not. Having been through 2 m/cs, I know how stressful the whole TTC/ pregnancy journey can be. I am sure everyone would welcome you here if you wanted to keep posting. Otherwise, you might like to try the TTC after m/c and loss thread. I can understand, however, that you not only have the issue of dealing with the past losses but the difficulty in longterm trying to concieve as well. Best of luck to you and i pray you get a very sticky BFP ASAP
MissC - crossing everything that full on AF stays away and maybe you are just having implantation bleeding. Cramping can be a sign of pg too, you know. I had a lot of cramping with all my pgs, not only the two which failed.
Deni - Praying that one eggie turns into a great embie. it could just be your precious little one on his/her way.
Everyone else - hope you have great weekends wherever you are in your TTC journeys.
-
Sharon - fingers crossed that 1 is all you need :)
Kell - Sounds like your scan kicked ass!
-
Thanks Meredith for your welcome and I think I will stick around - might just take me a bit of time for personals. Since I last posted here, I have actually been posting on the TTC after m/c and loss thread - that has been really good too.
Sometimes when I read the stories I get all emotional because I now feel that I am not alone anymore and I feel some relief. I'm so happy I found you all :grouphug:

I'm plodding along nicely, TL, how are you m'dear?
-
:fertilise: so far our 1 eggie has come through! Transfer set to Monday. :confetti:
Hope everyone's doing well!
-
Kell - Doing well I cannot wait till March so we can get on with the next round my tax return came back so it is looking more like we can afford it so not so stressed now :)
Deni - Yay GL for your transfer on Monday
-
Ahh thats great news! I hate thinking about the $$. I am already squirrelling them away and this cycle has not even finished - but if I want to go again asap (not that I will need it.. right?!) I have to save now, especially if we get no frosties again. March is not too far off now, I hope time flies for you xx
Deni - Best of luck for transfer Monday, exciting news!
BecD - How are you feeling, honey?
Plc - Welcome :)
MissC - Thinking of you and hoping things work out okay.
-
hi all you lucious women
I'm new to this forum, but am so excited at seeing a site with girls talking about the issues that i'm going through too. Just beginning the IVF process with TESA, my hubby's done his bit so now we're just waiting for AF to start so the roller coaster can begin... Love to hear from anyone else who's at the same stage.. :)
-
Abbie - Welcome aboard :)
Kell - I'm doing suprisingly well. Am hanging out to start again, I hate not doing anything IYKWIM?
Just trying to get back into the gym and lose a bit of weight before the next cycle starts. Not being able to exercise for two weeks last cycle really took its toll on me.
-
Bec I totally get that. I hated the extra month off we had between cycles, it was getting so frustrating. I also get you on the weight loss thing, thats my in between plan always as well. I hope time passes very quickly for you xx
-
Hi Deni - lots and lots of :bluedust: for you!
Hey BecD - I know how you feel. I was in a car accident on New Years Day (didn't break anything, just sore and sorry) and am now on 1st IVF - FSH phase. So under instructions for nothing much other than walking .. and I feel like a blob. Can't wait to get moving again.
Hi Abbie - i'm a relative newbie myself.:)
So far on day 3 of puregon (I really dislike the puregon pen, much prefer straight needle). Feel fine just tired.
-
Well girls - sorry for TMI but when I saw a brown smudge on my pants last night before bed, I still had hope cos I was feeling pretty good compared to previous cycles. But this morning, there is no doubting AF and my good feeling I can only attribute to the herbs I'm taking. So I guess I'm out for this month. I'm ok, wasn't upset but disappointed. The thing is that the naturopath (who I saw for first time 2 weeks ago when I could have been pg already) did say to be careful so as not to get pg til she sees me in one month's time as I could potentially m/c again due to deficiencies. So I guess I'm out for next cycle too ...... :(
But I'll be around sending you a mountain of good vibes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
