Hi Ladies
Mitf - sorry about your endometrium coming back and I hope it doesnt cause any hassles for you with this cycle. All the very best for Fri - hope you get some g8 eggies. I will stay away from the HPT's as long as I can, ta.
Emerald Star - thanks for the info about Crinone - its just in case I get tempted but Im going to try my hardest not to do HPT's. All the very best for your BT, I really hope your mistaken about AF coming. Thinking of you and send good vibes xo
Taureen - your follies sound pretty good so far - all the best for your EPU. :crossfingers:
Bubbless - Glad your EPU went well and you dont have much pain. 5 is good - that's what we got, they all fertilised but even though we may not have any to freeze, one is all it takes! We are hoping our one that was transferred is a fighter. All the best - hope you get a good one to transfer and also some to freeze. GL
Jasminstar - sorry that you're getting mucked around. I really hope you arent in too much pain and I hope like anything it all worth it in the end for you. We did ICSI because DH's count and mobility was low and always so varied. ICSI is supposed to bypass all male factor issues - so I believe in our case it really was the best option. GL. Thanks for your wishes. :bluedust::pink-babydust:
Miss K - hi. GL with the Gonal. I really hope you dont get OHSS again - drink heaps of water as they say and rest. All the best. Much love x
AFM - Not much to report as of yet. I've had some mild period like pain which is supposed to be a good sign - so im hoping its implantation pain. I think its def too early for AF to be coming - at least I really hope she's not.
I going to be away at a work Summit in Bendigo for the rest of the week which will keep my mind off things, also means I can't keep up to date with all my friends on BB so I wish you all the very best and truly hope we all get BFP's very soon. Take care for now.
Thinking of all xo
-
mitf, my acupuncturist is recommending doing acu for 4 months before our next IVF. The reasoning is that it takes 4 months for eggs to grow from start to finish so that way the eggs that start growing now during the acu will be the ones collected during EPU. Until we do our next cycle I'm going once a week. I've only been twice so far, so I'm still learning... Sorry to hear about the endometrioma. GL on Friday! :goodluck:
Bubless, glad to hear it went smoothly and you're doing well. I got 5 last time too with my unbalanced ovarian response... FX you have some top notch embies today!
jasminstar, we gave our clinic permission to do "rescue ICSI" (there's other names for it too) - basically if they didn't fertilise naturally they could try ICSI. We didn't need it in the end thankfully. But I had a cycle buddy on another forum who had no eggs fertilise naturally and two-thirds of them fertilised with rescue ICSI 24 hours after EPU! Given the delay they weren't hopeful about them even fertilising with ICSI so they were thrilled with that.
Miss K, I hope this cycle goes a bit easier on you.

Hi girls,
Thanks again for all your support. Things are looking better after every scan and today I had 7 follicles measured (up from 3 on Friday). They are 24, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12 and 7mm. So the 24mm will be a goner and unless the 7mm has some tricks up its sleeve, it's not going to feature either. The nurse called just now to say we're getting really close now and they will call me tomorrow afternoon with instructions for my trigger Wed pm. So EPU is definitely Friday now and i'm just glad to have gotten this far.
At home today with disgusting conjunctivitis, a rash around my neck and sneezing and sniffles . All caught from a child who came to school last week for 2 consecutive days with the same. I asked for her to be sent home twice and when the school rang her mother to ask her to come and collect her, the mother cried that she couldn't, principal felt sorry for mother and returned child to my classroom  So as a result, my health and the health of the other children in my class was compromised. So cranky because principal knows that I am doing IVF. If you're sick, stay home!!! ANd one last vent - it has meant that I had to cancel seeing a GF and her 2 kids tonight who live in Japan and are back ATM.Now I don't have another opportunity to see them before they go back. Grrrrrrrr........
:backtotopic:
Bubbless - 5 sounds like a good result. I am glad that you're not in pain really and hope that my experience is similar as we had the same amount of follies. Have your clinic called to let you know how they're getting on?
Emerald Star - thanks for sharing your experiences re EPU and you were right - trigger is Wed. Hope nothing has changed for you in terms of AF. Only 1 more sleep for you
Jasminstar - I hope the 4am start was OK and really have my :crossfingers: that you somehow manage to avoid the OHSS. You must relieved to be getting those eggs out and I really hope the pain is not unbearable for you. Take care of yourself - thinking of you.
Miss K - Welcome back! 30kg+ of fluid!!! That's unbelievable and I really wish you all the best this time around. Good luck with your scan on Fri and look forward to seeing you around here a bit more.
mitf - It's official! We are on the same schedule. Glad you're looking into acu - I think it's really beneficial and as you say, we're already broke, human pincushions. What's a few more $$$ and needles among friends? Hope you're well and good luck with trigger. Mine will be Wed PM.
Loops12 - I really hope the pain is implantation related. I hope your summit in Bendigo manages to give you a few distractions. We're all thinking of you and hoping for your BFP.
Juniper76, Seph, Tantee, Daisie - hi to all and any others I have missed and hope you're well.
-
Sorry - posted twice!
-
I still haven't POAS....1 more :asleep: till BT....it will also be my 41st birthday :birthday2:I hope I get that :bfp: i'm waiting for!
Sorry ladies for no personals, i'm too nervous and excited!!
-
Emerald Star - DH's step-mother got BFP on 1st round IVF @ 41 - I hope same goes for you. And :happybirthday: to you for tomorrow:crossfingers:
-
Emerald Star - Good luck for tomorrow. It has to be an omen. Wishing you a wonderful birthday.
:hello: to everyone, hope you are all doing well. Things have been hectic :juggling: Will try to post some personals in the next couple of days....
-
Tantee & Taurean78 - Thankyou soooooooooo much for your wishes.:confetti:
Let's hope that tomorrow is a really great birthday.....
-
Emerald Star - I'm hanging out to hear your results tomorrow. I really hope it's a BFP which would be the best birthday present ever!! Good luck.
Bubbless - I think you asked if I was doing IUI (sorry I haven't been on BB for a couple of days). But no, I'm doing IVF (FET). I'm also doing acupuncture, so I'm hoping it's helping me too. Good to hear your EPU went well. Fingers crossed for good fertilisation and cell division.
AFM - Turns out I ovulated on Sunday (CD15) which was about 3-4 days earlier than I expected. Based on U/S from Thurs last week with a 12mm follie, if I ovulated on Sunday then it would've been around 18mm (which is not too unusual I guess). I had a BT and U/S again on Monday, and BT confirmed I'd ovulated. So did U/S as she couldn't find the follie but found fluid instead, so said it looked like I had ovulated. The best news though was that my lining was 8mm!!! I was stoked, because I had worked myself up and fully expected that my cycle was going to be cancelled because of my lining being too thin. I know that other girls can have heaps thicker lining (like 10-12mm), but for me, 8mm is pretty good and that's all they're looking for, so here's hoping it's good enough. And I'm hoping that on the Progynova, my lining will continue to thicken up to ET.
Speaking of ET, I'm booked in this Friday morning for a day 5 blastie FET, and we'll be transferring 2 little embies (well assuming that they can get 2 thawed properly). We have 5 frozen and my clinic have said they have a pretty good thaw rate, so fingers crossed that continues.
Jasminstar - Wow, that's fantastic news about all those follies. Fingers crossed that you escape OHSS and can go ahead with ET this cycle. I feel your pain about all the waiting. It's so frustrating. My DH has low sperm count and motility is not the best, so we went straight to ICSI. Wanted to give ourselves the best chance from the start.
mitf - good luck for ET this Friday. Hope it all goes well for you. And fingers crossed for a successful ET next week.
loops - how are you hanging in there hun? The TWW is the worst, I hate it. Hope AF stays away and you get that BFP. Technically I'm in the TWW at the moment, but not doing ET til Friday.
Taurean - great news about your follies. I"ll be thinking of you for your EPU on Friday. Good luck.
Sorry for no more personals. Hope I managed to cover everyone, but sorry if I've missed anyone.
Wishes xoxo

Hi ladies,
Hope you are doing well.Though i am not posting i am thinking of you all and keeping an eye on this page.
Congratulations to Williamsemma.
Emerald star-Wish you a very happy birthday :birthday2: and  that you get your very special gift tomorrow.
Jasminstar-GL for wednesday.
Taurean78 ,Mitf & Wishes-GL for Fridays EPU and ET respectively.
Loops-:crossfingers: take it easy.
Tantee, Juniper76,MissK,Bubbless and anyone I have missed GL to you whatever stage of TTC you are.
AFM-Well, since I did not hear from my Gynae.for two weeks regarding my appointment I rang her secretary yesterday only to find out that they had not received any referal for me from the FS("lost in the post "can you believe this?:wall:).So i spent the whole of yesterday on the phone trying to sort this and made sure a fresh referral letter reached the Gynaec. Now i need to wait for them to give an appointment.
-
Emerald Star - :happybirthday: to you!! I hope you have a fantastic day and get spoilt rotten.
:goodluck: for you BT. I hope you get the world's best's birthday present and all your dreams come true.
xo
-
Hi Ladies,
Wishes, I asked about my lining on Monday and they said it was same as last U/S (8mm) so they have been watching it just never mentioned it as they said 8 is good. So looks like you've got a good result there - hopefully now the little one will stick for you. How long for you before ET? :goodluck:
Emerald Star, Happy Birthday I hope it brings you really happy results!!! Let us know how you get on. FX big time.
Vira, What a pain in the butt. Hopefully they will speed you along for your appointment after stuffing you around.
Taurean78, Good luck with trigger today and hope you feel better for Friday. Can't believe people send there kids to school when they are that sick!
Juniper76, We were hoping to do rescue ICSI too but the FS rang yesterday to say the clinic had contacted her and needed to know the day before - sounds like that's BS though now after your story. Anyway we said we'll do it rather than say no and find out after that we should have.
Loops12, Hope Bendigo is keeping you distracted. :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
Mitf, Hope your trigger is ok and not at an insane hour like mine. It looks like I'll be doing the 5 day blasties too. FS wants to talk to me about it today. She said she only recommends it if there are a lot of fertilised embies so we will have to wait till Thursday to confirm. FX for your 12 :goodluck:
Miss K, GL with the scan on Friday. Hope the ovaries wake up and without the OHSS.
Bubbless, Glad your EPU was a success. When's ET for you?
Williamsemma, Like the rest I am baffled that you have not had a confirmation BT. I think I'd be off to the GP for confirmation before the scan. Great result but i think I'd like the added confidence of BT. Hope all's going well.
AFM, EPU is in less than 3 hours and I hardly slept. Excited, nervous and hopeful with far too many scenarios running around in my head. DH went in ahead as they wanted him in as 12pm (which was originally so that they could assess for ICSI but then they told FS we had to decide yesterday) so I didn't go with him as I have been fasting since 6:45am and did not want to hang around for 3 hours thinking of food in Bondi Junction. Well FX we can go ahead with Blastys next week and I manage to keep the OHSS at bay.
Sorry to anyone I have missed and GL to all.
-
Emerald Star, FX you get the perfect birthday present! Happy Birthday!
jasminstar, sounds like a sound decision. It's too much to go through to then take any unnecessary risks. Another consideration for next time is you could ask them if they'd try half and half? I've heard of that being done too, but not sure if any Aussie clinics do it?
-
Good luck Jasminstar - I have my fingers crossed for you. Put your feet up tonight and rest and spoil yourself with a nice dinner.
-
Ok ladies....Take a look at that SIGNATURE.YYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEESSS!!!
I am so excited ladies and what a wonderful birthday this has been, although i am still not at the safe level yet. RE told me that my numbers are a little low for this stage and anything can happen...but you know what its still a BFP!!
Inspiration to you all...please do not think for 1 second that if you don't have symptoms nothing is happening....i am proof of that. GL ladies..and thank you all for your support and birthday wishes. I really hope this turns into a strong pregnancy...hurdle number 2!
-
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations, what a wonderful, wonderful Birthday Present!!! I am so excited for you.
Don't stress as I have seen plenty of cases where numbers were on the lower side early on and resulted in very healthy strong pregnancies.
I am so happy for you!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your evening.
-
emerald star - wow cogratulations to you  hope everything goes well for you!
what a great birthday suprise!
well i have questioned the confirmation blood test but think it's just a welsh thing! fs told me if i am testing 3 weeks after hcg 5000 and done 7 tests  there is no need for a blood test, wooo hooo means it's a defo :bfp: i have a scan on the 25th to check how many heartbeats! longer than the :2ww: dont no how i'll survive!
hope everything is going well for you all & keeping FX for every1 :D
-
Happy birthday emerald and Congratulations on your BFP, I am so happy for you. No doubt this is your best birthday ever.
I had my embryo t/f today, 1 grade 2 4 cell and another to freeze. So we lost 3 which is to be expected, FS prepared us we'd lose approx half. I haven't been feeling too hopeful as last night had some spotting and feel so premenstrual. FS assures me the spotting is purely from vaginal wall after retrieval and that pms from drop in hormones. Funny that as soon as the t/f was over I felt much better. Raced home and gave myself crinone straight away!
Hope you all are well, too hard to write much as on mobile but wishing you all the best and hope we can all follow inEmerald Stars footsteps
-
EmeraldStar - Congratulations!! I am so happy for you :happyforyou:. This must be the worlds greatest birthday present. I hope you enjoy celebrating tonight.
I had faith that this little one was going to stick around. :crossfingers: that your numbers continue onwards & upwards. All the best for a H &H 9 months ahead!!
Now we just have to wait and see if its a :stork-boy: or :stork-girl: Yeah!! xo
-
Emerald Star - congratultions hun and of course happy birthday. What a wonderful present, you must be so thrilled.
Just a quick one from me - was so tired the last week I just didn't get on line! Had EPU yesterday and got 11 eggs, which was great as last time we got 5. Embryologist warned me that he thought a few were immature, but lo and behold TEN fertilised! Yay! So fingers and toes are crossed that at least half will make it to blastie stage.
Am doing ok but in a bit of pain, more than last time. Ok am going to lie back down on the couch now! GL to all in the 2ww, hope to join you soon :)
-
Emerald Star!!! - Yay for you! I knew it, I knew it. I could just feel it was going to be a BFP! Congratulations to you and Happy Birthday. Just on my way out to dinner with DH so will post more later but I am so, so, so very happy for you.
xxTaurean78

Wishes - Vira - Tantee and Juniper76 - thankyou so much....GL for your cycles too.:grouphug:
Jasminstar - Thankyou...and how did your EPU go today..GL for your transfer!!:goodluck:
Williamemma59 - I'm glad that your is a true positive :D and you can look forward to your ultrasound...may god bless your pregnancy. My Beta is 62 and the RE said that it should have been AT LEAST over 120 by now....not sounding confident and I am really praying its not an ectopic! AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!
Bubbless - thankyou too....although as excited as i was initially, I am now starting to get real pessimistic about it all......Lets see if this pregnancy sticks before you all follow my footsteps....i want everyone to have BFP (healthy ones)!! Also GOOD LUCK in your 2WW......any questions, i'm up till midnite!!! I check every 45 mins for new posts.
Mitf - Hon...I am so scared this pregnancy is Ectopic (again).....my bubble is popping. I basked in the glory for a few hours and now I am in panic mode. :wtf:I have been googling beta numbers and mine is really low. But thankyou for your optimism and genuine friendship....I too hope the healthiest of pregnancies for you.
MrsP - Thankyou and GOOD LUCK in your cycle.
-
Congratulations!
Yaaaaaaaaa Hoooooooooooooo:dance: Emerald Star,
That was a fantastic news to wake up to. I am sooooooo happy for you!
What a truly wonderful Birthday Present!:birthday2:Happy Birthday once again.
Now relax and take it easy for a few days and all the very best for the next nine months.
Honestly this gives us all a lot of hope and I am walking with a spring in my step since morning.
GL to each one of you.
Take Care
-
Hey Emerald Star,
Just read your latest post. Please don't torture yourself you will be fine. All our prayers are with you.
Please take real good care of yourself , now switch off that computer and go have a good sleep everything will be fine.
Goodnight.:D
-
Emerald Star, I am soooooo happy for you. What a fantastic birthday pressie! Try not to worry about HCG levels for now they can always catch up with what your body knows. So great!!! :happyforyou:
My EPU went great - 18 eggs and not too sore. FS said my Est was 23,000 on Monday and with all the eggs is pretty convinced OHSS is around the corner so no transfer this cycle. FX it doesn't happen and hoping loads of them fertilise tommorow and grow into strong little embies and blasties.
Did my personals earlier so will say good night for now and go order my treat pizza for dinner - GL to all
-
Emerald Star - Congratulations!!!! I am so happy for you and what a perfect birthday present. As hard as it probably is, try and relax and enjoy this. My fingers are crossed for you that your hcg numbers rise and you have a H&H pregnancy.
Jasminstar - thats great that you're uterus lining is ok too. It's always been an issue for my from the start, which is probably why I've always asked about it at every ultrasound anyway. I have my FET this Friday when they'll be transferring 2 x day 5 blasties (fingers crossed the little ones thaw ok).
Wishes xoxo
-
Jasminstar - just saw your post (I think we managed to post at the same time). Congrats on getting 18 eggs, that's fantastic!!! I really hope OHSS stays away. My fingers are crossed for you. Now go put your feet up and relax for the rest of the night.
Wishes xoxo
-
Wishes - great news about your lining. Mine has only ever been 8mm and I believe that is well and truly adequate. All the best for your ET on Friday and I hope that your 2 little embies thaw out nicely for you.
Mitf - Thinking of you. Have you triggered yet? I'm getting ready to do it at 9pm.
Vira - You poor love. You really have been given the run around by your specialists. Good thing you are being proactive about it. Try not to let it get you down. We're thinking of you and hope you get your appt soon.
Jasminstar - congrats on your 18 eggs! Sorry for you that transfer has been delayed but all with good reason I guess and doing what's best for your body. Fingers crossed for some good, strong embies and I hope you enjoyed your pizza!
Williamsemma59 - Good on you for questioning your FS. You'd hope that 7 tests couldn't have gotten it wrong?!
Bubbless - Glad to hear that your ET went well. I'm glad to hear that your FS prepared you for losing half so that it wasn't a surprise. Glad you felt better after the transfer. Good luck in the TWW. Keep us posted in here!
Mrs P - 11 eggs is fantastic! And then for 10 of them to go on and fertilise is great news. Good luck with a decent number getting to blastie stage. Take care of yourself, rest up and get your body ready for your ET.
Emerald Star - I won't hear any of this negativity from you! The other day a girl in another part of the BB forums was told her pg was not viable due to low levels and a few days later they had soared. Give it time & be kind to yourself. As Vira said, you've given us all hope. I was so excited when reading your post that I had to explain it all to DH who was amazed that IVF has the ability to turn the lives of our LTTTC'ers lives around so quickly (best case obviously).
Hi to all other ladies out there - hope you're all doing well.
I am due to trigger in 5 mins and we are due at the clinic at 8:30am on Fri for EPU. Hoping that there are 5 eggs for us there as that seems to be the most we can retrieve gauging from the scans. I just keep telling myself it only takes 1!
:bluedust::pink-babydust: to all.
xxTaurean78
-
Loops - All the best in your 2ww hunny and I am hoping you get some wonderful news have an awesome time away xxoo

I am soo tired and exhausted with dizzy spells and headaches which I am assuming is a side effect of the Gonal... Though I have been drinking plenty of water eating alot of chicken for protein *I never drink water* (sorry prob sound like a whinger I am soo hormonal and sooky lately)
quick question for you ladies when you start gonal how long after your day 5 jab will you ovulate?

Taurean78 - Good Luck for your EPU on Friday....FX for lots of eggs....also..i am not very savvy with this site:redface:is there any chance you can tell me where in BB can i chat with other women and their betas?
AFM - I truly appreciate everyones positive support but until i get those numbers doubling or more...i will not relax!! Beta BT #2 is on Friday and i  that God has heard my prayers.
God Bless!
-
Emerald Star - Just PMd you with info.
xxTaurean78
-
Hi Taurean78 - Thankyou sooooo much...it just comes down to my next BT (Fri).
Sorry took me awhile to work out the PMing thing...told you i am clueless:lol:
There is nothing more that I can do, but wait in hope....the more i read the worse it gets, because there is a positive outcome in an average of 1 in 200 stories...most end up in miscarriage / ectopic / tubal / chemical pregnancies.......so i will rest, relax and wait till Friday's BT and then let the "chips fall where they may"......secretely i think i celebrated tooooo early. Thanks for letting me vent Hon, really needed it as DH thinks we are pregnant and thats all there is to it....he's making me mad because he just won't listen.
-
Hi Ladies,
Wow the post have been going crazy in here today. Heaps of catching up to do...
EmeraldStar - Hon, I am no mathematician but I think the odds would have to be pretty slim for you too get 2 x ectopic pregnancies out of 2 pregnancies. I can only imagine how scary all these possibilities might be, particularly now that your goal is within reach, but enjoy the moment and try and stay positive. I am sure you will see your numbers rising soon enough. GL for your BT on Friday.
Taurean - sorry to hear you have been felling the best hon. Hope things are picking up. How did your trigger go? I had mine at 8.30pm, was a little bit more painful than normal but all ok. I am getting so excited about Friday I can barely contain myself. Plus no more Synarel! Yeah for that.
JasminStar - 18 eggs!! Congratulations that is a huge effort. Sorry to hear that there is still a chance of OHSS. I hope by some miracle that it manages to stay away. If not at least you know you have 18 little treasures waiting for you.
Miss K - your welcome hon. GL wit your scan on Friday. I had similar symptoms to your when I first started on Synarel. Then calmed down after about 4 days. I hope the same happens for you. There is nothing worse than then hazy bubble. Try not to stress about OHSS too much. I am sure your FS will draw on last times experience to help make sure things run more smoothly this time around.
Mrs P - 10 eggs that's fantastic. Sorry to hear you are in a bit of pain. I hope DH has been looking after you. Good luck with you embies over the next few days.
Williamsemma - congratulations again it must be so fantastic to have that final confirmation. Wishing you all the best for you first scan, it will be so amazing when you hear your baby's first heartbeat!
Wishes - great to hear that your lining made it to 8mm. GL with the transfer of your two little embies Friday. Looks like it will be another busy day in here.
Juniper - thanks for your thoughts re acupuncture. One of the ladies on BB has recommended a local lady and I have booked in for my first appointment tomorrow. Should be an interesting experience...
Bubbless - Glad to hear that ET went well. Sorry to hear that you lost some of your precious little embies but glad you have 1 little fighter in reserve.
Vira - sorry to here about your hassles with the Gynec. There is nothing worse than being held to ransom by specialists' rooms. I hope they can express your appointment and squeeze you in.
Loops - I hope you have been having fun in Bendigo and you have been managing to keep your mind of things. EmeraldStar has set the bar.... It will be your turn before you know it!!
AFM - trigger is done, becoming a pin cushion tomorrow and getting really excited about Friday. I can?t wait hear about my little embies...
-
Emerald Star & williamsemma, congrats on the confirmed BFP's!:hooray:
Bubless, glad to hear the transfer went well. GL with the 2ww... :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:
jasminstar & Mrs P, glad to hear the EPU's went well too! FX for no OHSS! :crossfingers:
wishes, mitf & Taurean78, GL! :goodluck:
-
Emerald congratulations on the BFP. Everything is crossed for tomorrows BT.
AFM I'm taking my Oestrogen tables and i'm due for my BT and US next Tuesday 11th (I'm day 10 today) to see how we are progressing for my little snowbub's transfer! However I woke up at 3am this morning with discomfort in my ovaries.......enough to keep me from not going back to sleep!!! Anyhoo I rang the nurses and as she explained it's very strange for me to have any feeling in my ovaries as on this cycle (HRT FET), they are stimulating my uterus, and not my ovaries. She said that I may have a cycst that has been aggrevated which they'll check during my US next week. This is probably a very stupid question but I've never had a cycst through any of my other cycles and I'm wondering can they just appear from one cycle to the next??????? or would it have been there all along and they just haven't noticed it???
-
Baby2Bee - I have a chocolate cyst, endometrioma, on my left ovary. It was removed when I had my lap but it has now come back. It grew substantially between my 2 IUI's and the clinic nurses said it was probably because the hormones I was taking were essentially feeding it. FX that you don't have a cyst, but if you do it may have been a small one which is now growing because of the drugs you are on. I believe they can also shrink once your stop the medication. Anyway, hope that helps.
EmeraldStar - :goodluck: with your BT tomorrow hon.
-
Re: Inability to Sleep?
Hello, this is my first time on a forum. I am currently going through my first IVF cycle. I am on my 3rd day on injections, with my first blood test tomorrow. No real problems at this stage, just haven't been able to sleep! Is anyone else experiencing lack of sleep?
-
Welcome on board BTB and good luck with your journey. I had a lack of sleep but I don't think it was the drugs for me, it was more the 'stress' of everything; remembering to take the drugs, how much, how to do it, when the next blood test was etc etc etc etc etc etc......get my drift!! It's such a pressure load on everyone to succeed and soooo much to remember!!!
-
Hi girls,
EPU was this morning and from the original 7 follicles came 4 eggs which the scientist said were really good, "textbook" eggs. FS called it a "modest" amount of eggs but then backed it up with the whole quality over quantity spiel.
Actual EPU wasn't overly comfortable and had bad cramping afterwards - I really feel for you girls with lots of follies because everytime he went in for one of mine, that's when the pain was the worst. But then on the other hand, i'm envious because I didn't have many! You can't have it both ways I guess.
Andrology came back to us whilst in recovery and told us DH's specimen was good too.
So now for the wait for the phone tomorrow to see how many have fertilised. Then a shot of Pregnyl on Sunday and another call on Monday for further update from embryologist. The pain and discomfort isn't too bad - they gave me Panadeine Forte in recovery and I have just been using heat packs all day whilst taking it easy and lying on the couch.
Mitf - Hope your EPU went well. :crossfingers: you didn't find it too painful.
Emerald Star - Have been thinking about you lots and hope your BT went well today:hug:

Accidentally posted this one before finishing! TBC

Sorry about cutting off post - must be the narcotics from this mornings procedure!
Jasminstar - also hope the OHSS has stayed away
Miss K - how did your scan go today?
wishes - hope your FET went well and that you're taking care of yourself.:crossfingers:
juniper76 - Thanks for the good wishes - hoping you're well.
BTB - Welcome to you! Can't say I had your problem. Instead, I was exhausted on my injections at the start (from Puregon, not the Lucrin). Be kind to yourself during this tough time on your body. You've come to a great place with great women with great info!
Baby2Bee - I hope your discomfort is easing. I would say that a cyst could definitely come up between cycles. If a follicle can grow on average 2mm a day, surely a cyst could do the same? One of my follies grew 4mm in 24hrs between scans! I have a history of ovarian cysts and need frequent u/s to keep on top of them. I'm not an expert though- hope you get the answers you're after.
Hi Loops12, Bubbless, Seph and apologies to others I have missed.
