Beau- I am on 50iu of Gonal F. Still not feeling anything but surely it's got to be doing something!! Ouch to your Pregnyl shot. When is your BT honey... Really really hope this cycle works!

Bunny- Are you going straight to a FET or having a month off? What protocol will you be on?

MissB- I thought about calling the clinic but they won't really be able to tell anything till my scan on Wednesday so prob not much point. I'm just praying it's doing something... If not hopefully they can just increase my dose in Wednesday.

AFM- Plodding along. Trying to relax but I am dying for my scan on Wednesday! Praying so hard that my ovaries are actually doing something and that my lining is finally thickening up :pray:

Jasmine I'm seeing my fs on Thursday and just waiting for AF to arrive since I stopped all meds on Saturday. Hopefully if all is ok with my lining etc I'm hoping to go straight to FET. Fingers crossed for your lining on Wednesday x

Bunnyfeet - gl for Thursday. My clinic doesn't allow an fet straight after stim cycle - need to take a cycle off. Hopefully yours is different.

Oh really? Yeh I've never done one so all new to me. What does everyone recommend anyhow? Some say you have better chance doing it straight away as your body is in the 'zone' and others say to wait a while?

Bunny- GL for Thursday honey! My clinic does FET's straight after a full ivf cycle but I think it can vary a lot from clinic to clinic.

Hi ladies! Quick question for anyone who has had a lap done, is it safe to use a heat pack for cramping? I had a lap almost 5 weeks ago and pretty sure I am going to start my period as I have quite bad cramping in my pelvis and back. I want so relief!! :(

I was told I could use heat pack straight away. I use them every af for first 2 days.

Kel, I reckon it will be okay after 5 weeks xox

Kel, there should be no problem with using a heatpack during AF. Pre-lap and the first few AFs after, that was the only thing that gave me any sort of relief during AF.

Thanks ladies!! I just hope AF isn't as heavy as it was after the last lap it went for 8 days and it was super heavy the whole time :(. Juniper, I was only spotting today and proper flow didn't start until about 6pm will I count today as CD1 or wait until tomorrow?

Kel, that's up to you. I, personally, would count tomorrow as CD1, but that's just me. You can choose whatever cut-off you like. I know some women call it CD1 as long as it starts before midnight and some even call it CD1 if it's after midnight but before they've gone to bed. My FS requires you to wake up with AF for it to be CD1, but the previous one had a 8am cut-off and the one before had a 4pm cut-off. I tend to use 5pm as a cut-off, but it depends on the flow... This cycle I had some light bleeding on the Tuesday night, then spotted all day Wednesday before AF started properly at 5:30pm, so I called Thursday CD1. In terms of estimating when AF was going to end, I knew I wasn't going to count Wednesday when I did my mental arithmetic, so it made sense to not call it CD1...

My clinic classes it as cd1 if AF arrives in the morning, otherwise its cd0.... But prior to IVF I just did it according to the day it started no matter what time of day it was.

Thanks for both of you Miss.B & Juniper, I had CoQ10 in BioActivePlus brand. Next time I will try thompsons brand as I heard it is a good brand and I saw some health food store selling some products in this brand.

Miss.B&Jasmine, I am trying to keep postive on my grade C embryo, but I had tiwce that grade C embryo is not growing to day 5. Anyway, the grade B embryo failed to go to day 5 last time too.

Beau - My doctor said only 5% embryos are grade A, If all all your embryos are grade A on day 5, that is very good because you are still young. I think it is better to tell the quality on day 5 rather than on day 3. Get BFP this time

Jasmine, don't worry, one cycle I didn't feel anything at all, I still have 7 eggs collected.

Thanks Juniper and myturn, I have my post op appointment today with my FS so I will ask him but I am pretty sure I will class today as CD1. I am nervous and excited at the same time about doing a natural cycle! Those that use OPK'S what day do you start testing?

Kel - as the girls said every clinic is different mine is cd1 if full on bleeding before lunch.
