myturn, I had light bleeding at 14dpo with DD. I was sure it was the start of AF and almost drank a bottle of wine to drown my sorrows... Not opening that wine was the best decision I ever made... B/t was at 16dpo and by then the bleeding had almost stopped... But mine was pink, not red...

And I know this feeling all too well. I wish I had some words of wisdom to tell you what to do, but in my experience you kind of have to grope through the dark to find your answer because the answer is different for each of us... You'll know it when you find it. :hug:

AFM- I'm still here, kind of.
Have 1 embryo in the freezer- pretty sure that will be my last cycle.

Willi, I am eating high fat, low carb and the weight is coming off so much easier than ever before. And I am never hungry. I thoroughly recommend it.

n2l is right I lost 5kgs and fell pg with ds3 but its so hard i'm desperate to lose some weight and I should at least
try hard i'm only 2kgs away from double digets on the dam scales and I still cant get the motivation but am going to
try really hard from tomorrow to not drink and lose those 5kgs.
Would love to know your diet n2l sounds like your going great well done

I've been losely low GI. Apart from the wine I am drinking right now;-)

I am aiming to lose a lot more than 5kg, but I hit that late last week (it has gone up a bit today because I am starting to PMS).

I am eating 20-30gms carbs a day (no sugar, no grains, no pasta, no bread, no rice, no potato, etc), 120 gms of fat a day (cheese, cream, eggs, oils, coconut oil, avocado, etc) and around 80gms protein (whatever I like).

Miss.B I had EPU on a Monday at 2:50 pm, so I had my trigger injection Sunday 2:50 am

Awww myturn, this really sucks hun :hug::hug::hug: Like I've said darling, you still have potentially 7 goes from you 7 embies (unless you have 2 put in at some point) and FETs are so much kinder and easier on the body. You could lose some weight, do some ACU and feel as great as you can, and then give it a go again knowing you have given your embie the best chance. Take good care of yourself lovely, I know your gorgeous hubby will, he sounds like a really sweet and caring guy. And that's so vital in the whole process.

Speaking of weight loss ladies, the good friend I have who just got pg in the last cycle, lost a lost of weight before she did IVF although hers was by the lap band surgery as she just couldn't lose it any other way. I'm not saying that is an answer, but because she's been always told to lose weight, and finally she did, she did get pg. The first time she got pg was 2 months after she lost the weight, it was an ectopic natural pg, but she still got pg. So I think losing some of the weight definitely does help. Good luck ladies!

Do you have any advice on the synarel nasal spray ladies? I've never used it before, but I'm using it as my trigger tonight. My IVF nurse said to spray one nostril then the other then repeat the process (4 sprays in total) but then the other nurse yesterday said to just do 2 sprays in one and then 2 in the other. I don't want to stuff this up, does it matter?

I have never used syneral as a trigger, and only take one spray... But I reckon you'll need a drink after. It tastes a bit yucky, and I usually notice a taste running down the back of my throat about five - ten minutes later.... And I uslalyo sneeze after about 15 minutes. Apparently not okay to sneeze in the first five.

I think you'd be okay either way, but I guess go with whichever nurse your trust more. :).

feeling like ****. Cramping has ramped up. Hate how AF feels after a stim cycle. Just to add insult to injury.
Im hacing flash backs to my first cycle which DH left to go overseas the day I started bleeding, and the next day I had to sit totally coincidentally next to his crazy ex wife at DSDs choir concert.

Feeling exceptionally sorry for myself today.

Juniper, Yes my bleeding has been a lot lighter this cycle. It keeps stopping and starting but is constantly bright red. My FS doesn't really know why my body is doing this???

MyTurn, Sorry that the witch showed honey.. It's not fair!! Try and stay positive and focus on the 7 little embryos in the freezer. Surely one of them has to be the lucky egg X

AFM- Sorry I was MIA the last couple of days.. Was not in a good head space so needed to step back and clear my mind!
The freaking witch is still hanging around!! The FS has put me on 3 Progynova tablets a day to try and improve things but I'm not holding my breath. FS said if I'm still bleeding at my EPU on Wednesday he will probably do a D & C while I'm under anesthetic as at today's scan he could see that my lining is STILL shedding!! On a better note I have about 10 follies measure 19mm so I will be triggering at 10pm tonight.

But, just quickly...

Miss.B, I haven't used it for trigger, but have used it for the long protocol 4 times. I always blew my nose before using it to clear as much out as possible. myturn already mentioned that it's normal to taste it as it goes down your throat, so don't worry about that. I doubt it will matter which way you do it, but I'd probably alternate to give the first spray a bit of time to dissipate before you spray that side again. I always do a strong elongated sniff as I spray to suck the spray up to the back of the nose (where I think it's absorbed) as much as possible. If it were summer, I'd give you some storage tips, but you just follow the manufactuer directions during winter (ie keep under 25C).

I have been a good girl, but the waiting is killing me, I am tempted to get a hpt :(

Im having bt on Wednesday, I had the second pregnyl shot last Monday, but I am not sure if it could give me a false positive, if there is still some pregnyl in my system. And if I get a negative I can start to feel miserable :(

Juniper, thanks hun. I read the instuctions last night and I think I still buggered it up. I was so nervous, that I forgot to spray into the back of my nose, forgot to breathe it in, and I did 2 prays in the left nostrils and I'm pretty sure I did two in the right one, but I can't remember spraying the second time!!!! I totally freaked myself out, oh well, what's done is done.

So, EPU tomorrow, I feel really nervous as I didn't have a good experience last time, waking up for the first time in a lot of pain and when I stood up I vomited....Noice. So I am fearing the same happening tomorrow :( I so feel like a ciggy (naughty I know, I have one at night time) and on the paperwork it says not to smoke 24 hours before the procedure. Will it really matter if I have one? I so so want one :(

Miss.B, I wouldn't have the cigarette. It might compromise your breathing tomorrow and actually make you more likely to feel sick. Not worth the risk. I hope the EPU goes smoothly and you don't feel bad like last time.

Jasmine, good to hear your follicles are doing so well! Very sorry to hear your lining is still not behaving. With 10 follicles I'd be comfortable with the freeze-all option and a FET later when your lining is good. Let us know how you go on Wednesday! :goodluck:

Afm - 1 week to go for my bt. For those who have used progesterone pesseries - is it ok to do all vaginally even if it is one at 6am, ten next one not till 5:30pm when i get home then the third at about 9pm when I go to bed? I am back at work this week and used one rectally at lunch but have got diarrhoea again (I have put it down to the pesseries rectally). Sorry if too much info..

MissB- Thinking of you today honey. Hope the EPU goes well and you get lots of eggies.. Will be stalking for news X

I haven't had a single drop of blood since yesterday!!! Sooooo.. How quickly does the uterine lining grow back? If I were to do a fresh ET it would be next Monday (so 1 week after bleeding stoped). The FS has penciled me in for a fresh ET just incase my lining has caught up by then. I am taking 3 x 2mg Progynova tablets a day plus baby asprin... Do you think we are in with a chance?

Catyo, you could still have a tiny trace of the pregnyl left (ie a squinter) if your test is very sensitive, but at 15dpo you should get a clear line (not always dark, but a definite line instead of a shadow) on most tests if you're pg, so you should be able to tell if it's a real BFP (clear line) or leftover pregnyl (squinter).

Beau, I'd say that's fine. I used to do the same when I was working full-time. I got home a bit earlier than you but also did the morning one a little earlier.

Afm, doing fine. For some reason my FS has decided his patients have to split their FSH doses between morning and night, even at lower doses, so I'm doing an extra shot each day (which, as a recovering needle-phobe, I just love...not). AF stayed light and ended a day early so I have a slight worry that I'll get to Saturday's monitoring appt and be told it didn't shed properly and has therefore not re-grown properly, but I'm hoping I'm just over-thinking it... It's normally very thick by the monitoring appt (eg 13.5mm last cycle), so will be interesting to see what it is this time...

Sorry Miss. B I have not been here for a few days because I spend my spare time to do excises in the Gym so I did not have much time to be here and did not see your post, otherwise I will share my experience with you for doing the spray and I wish you are doing well with egg collection.

My doctor agreed if I get sick for pessaries 800mg per day and I can reduce to 400mg per day, however I used 800mg per day, I am fine and I am not sick like last time, it is strange (Maybe the Progynova tablets helped), but I felt very tried from time to time. My lining is 6.9mm on day12, I am not happy with it because I'd never have under 8mm before on day12, but they reckon lining is over 6mm which is good.

I am doing transfer on Thursday, I am so nervous...

Those are the two I buy. At this point either should give you a clear result. I've had a BFP on the digital ones at 12dpo (and that was a chem pg with low hcg levels). I've been getting shadows (ie false lines) on the FRER when testing early, but at 15dpo you should have a clear line if you're pg (I had a clear line at 13dpo last time I was pg).

Bah humbug.... HCG level came out at 4..... Back for a BT again on Thursday. Ill be ****ed off if its higher. Don't want to go through another miscarriage.

So it tried to stick.... Don't know if that makes me sadder or glad in a weird warped kind of way.

Myturn - that sucks! Hope Thursday gives you a better answer. Also I'm with you - not sure how I would cope without all you lovely ladies in here keeping me sane.

Beestrong - I am surprised that your clinic hast kept you on progynova for longer if our lining has been better before. I didn't have my transfer this cycle till week 7 as my lining was under what I normally on. Good luck with the progesterone.

CatyO - I am surviving just. Being back at work keeps my brain a little bit more occupied. I hate not being able to exercise during these two weeks. A slow walk for me is not enough. I did however get my Bfp last time with no exercise so I need to keep thinking of that. Heaps of niggles since day 2. Hope the little one is sticking. Can't wait to hear from you either later today when you poas or after bt tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed for you.

I'm sorry myturn, I forgot to wish you well for your BT. Sorry the news wasn't better hun :(

I'll come back for presies later, just wanted to jump on and update you on my EPU. Got only 6 eggs, then the lady that was taking out the eggs said that she got worried as she checked the first few follies and they were empty :( then she said she had to give me another trigger which is bizzare???? and then she got the eggs. I don't know what to make of this as when I called my IVF nurse she said that wouldn't have worked......so confused. I thought I didn't do the trigger properly but apparently I did. Anyway, here comes the worst bit. While OH was waiiting on his testicular biopsy, he overheard a guy making a phone call (I assume it was to my FS) saying he wasn't happy with the look of the eggs. So devastated right now :(

Miss.B, sorry to hear it didn't go well. :hug: I really hope that man was talking about someone else's eggs.
