Cd1 for me
Hi girls, just a quick question, since yesterday I have had some spotting, I think its spotting, I never get spotting, that's why I say I think it is. It goes and comes, just a little bit, only when I wipe, during the day, but not every time I go to the toilet, it is brown, shall I take that as a CD1? Is there something I can do to get my full period? I had it yesterday in the morning, then I didn't see it again, until before I went to bed. This morning it was there, there at midday. Ewwww, sorry if TMI
CatyO I can sometimes get that a few days before my period, where it is annoying enough to be paranoid that it is going to start full flow. But I don't count until it is proper flow. Being brown though means it is old blood passing, gross I know!
Sorry, CatyO, I agree with the others that it needs to be full red flow to be AF. I'm sorry that means you're waiting in limbo longer. It's awful. If you haven't started bleeding after 2 weeks, I'd give your FS a call (that was my instruction when my chem pg was diagnosed).
CatyO- When I had mc's I had spotting on and off for anything up to about a week before proper AF would start... It's cruel hey when you just want it over with .
I was always told the same an Juniper... If you don't have a heavy flow after 2 weeks call the FS. Thinking of you honey Xx
Hi girls
Sorry I haven't been on in a while. When I last wrote my sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer. So she's had surgery last week and starts chemo nxt month. I also managed to start my shots (after an initial scan that lining was still too thick!) so got to start on day 5. All going well until yesterday :( I have premature luthinisation which is where my p4 is too high and again my lining is too thick too early on. I was given option to either cancel cycle ( im on day 11) or proceed with pick up and freeze, so we decided on the later. So all in all it's been a stressful month :( I have pick up on Monday. Fingers crossed we have some to freeze as we didn't last cycle.
I have a lot to read over here to catch up on everyone! Hope you are all doing ok.
Chat sn :)
Hi girls, thanks for all your comments. Just wanted to know if that brown spotting was normal or common. To be hones lm feeling very positive and enthusiastic, the sadness from las weekend lasted what it had to last. I have always recovered quick from "fatalities". I guess l didnt really get to feel pregnant, thats why l got over it quickly. Of course there was the sadness of holding hopes and then didnt get what l wanted, but l think l was prepared for the first IVF not working as they told me that hundreds of times... But l know it will happen someday :)
The only reason that has me here waiting anxiously for my period is that we are going overseas and l Would like to have everything in order before we go, in case l needed a D&C... how long it takes to recover normally after a D&C?
Juniper, l wont be ttc in the next couple months, so could you put me on taking a break, please? When we go on holidays l dont really worry about it. We dtd whenever we feel like it :D

Hi Juniper I'm actually CD 12 today EPU Monday 1st July thank you :)
Bunnyfeet, I'm so sorry to hear of your sister's cancer! I hope the treatments work well and she kicks the big C's butt! I'm also sorry to hear your lining also isn't cooperating. I hope you have a great selection of snowbabies after your EPU and that your first FET is a success.
CatyO, the physical recovery from a d&c is usually very quick. You usually only run into trouble if they miss some and you need a repeat (my OB warned me that was a possibility because it's a "blind" procedure, ie not u/s guided). Someone experienced is less likely to leave some behind though, so the risk is relatively low. I bled for 2.5 weeks after mine, but most women seem to bleed for only a few days. I always seem to bleed longer than average after GYN procedures (ie d&c, hsg, lap, hysteroscopy)... I had my d&c on a Monday and on the Thursday was well enough to drive across town (1 hour each way) with DD (almost 1 at the time) to visit my parents (who still don't know about the d&c). I was recovered enough that they didn't suspect anything was wrong.
Thanks Juniper. She had partial mastectomy and they're very optimistic with her tx she'll be ok fx so stressful and a worry but hoping all will be ok. Got to catch up on everyone's news. How did your iui go Juniper?
So sorry about your outcome CathyO :( look after yourself x
Congrats Hummingbird :)
And well done and good luck to every one ttc wherever you're at this month x
Bunnyfeet, glad to hear they think the prognosis is good. IUI went smoothly, so just praying I produced a good egg and that it was fertilised by a good sperm to create a good embryo. Nothing we can do but wait...
Fingers and everything else crossed for you Juniper!:):):)
Thanks, hun. xx
I finally told DH about his results. He said we're done TTC. :crying:
