Hi Ladies
Hey Tigg..not long to go now........GL with everything.
Had a bit of a scare myself last night...started spotting and not just lightly..so spent the entire night with bugg eyes staring at the ceiling as anxious as I have ever been. had BT down this morning and all came back good...levels are still rising and they say it can be common...freaked the hell out of me! I have out first scan Wednesday to make sure all is ok..... I tell ya.....we are all the bravest women alive to go through this roller coaster......
Its such an exciting journey but can be a little scary...guess it keeps us all on our toes!
Hope your all having a great day.
Carla thanks sweet yes not long to go very excited
 on the scare sweet Munckin please don't do that to mummy :stickyvibesboy:
Hi everyone
Sorry ive been MIA lately after last failed iui i was all ready to go with IVF and the embrologist is going on hols so i was put on a pill crossover:wall: i took it a bit hard but it works out it only puts me one week behind, just V sad as i was sure i would be preg by the time my lost angel was due (May22nd:angel:), i guess it might still happen. Then went on hols for a week.
Saph: i was at the goldcoast and we stayed at seaworld resort, we liked it for a few reasons, if you get the super park pass you can go into seaworld at anytime, its got a great kids club and nice pool area, the rooms are abit dated, but functional and if you get a dining plus card (cost $95) you get 50% off the buffet and discounts in all the other eating places (the japanese is awesome!!), plus one night free accommadation so really good value. Surfers is obviuosly the place to be if you want to party, but to be honest we went into surfers one day and didnt go back, we were inundated by people trying to sell us stuff and i found it dingy, much prefered the quieter seaworld (although loads of kids running about). If you can get a babysitter you HAVE to go to Draculas such a great night out!!! Hope that helps any other questions just ask.
Well i start sniffing next sat the 12th, but i must admit i have enjyed not having to worry about it all for a few weeks.
Sorry no personals i will try to catch up with everyone soon. Good luck everyone.
Hi all
Miss C - I just wanted to say all the best with the move OS and :stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: - hope all is going well post transfer.... I special thanks to you again for the lovely long reply you wrote to me after my first ever (and very upset) post.
Tiggerlinda - I noticed we may be starting on the synarel on the same day?
I had my day 22 BT and interview with the nurse today and we are set to go for our next round (2nd of IVF). This time we'll be doing ICSI so I'm feeling hopeful we might get a few embryos and a transfer this time :crossfingers: I start sniffing on Wednesday.
:)
Numa - so gald to have you join me
Miss C - Postive and the stickest vibes gping your way
Numa - so glad to hear that you've got the go ahead for the next cycle, hun! :D It's a brand new ball game now, and your FS and clinic will have learnt a lot from your last cycle. Even though it is a small consolation for what you went through, they will know how to approach this cycle now to make it a success. I'm sure ICSI will make such a difference for you also. So it's all positive news for you now! There's a number of ladies starting cycles in the next week or so, so you'll have plenty of company here and lots of people to support you! I have lots of hope and will be excited to hear all about your eggs fertilising and going on for transfer! Good luck! Thanks for the well wishes too hun - I really appreciate it
TL Yay! One sleep! I'm getting very excited for you now! Time to get that blankie finished, hey? :D Hope work is continuing to go well, hun.
scooby - all the best for this cycle :crossfingers: so glad that you're here again and that they're be lovely ladies cycling at the same time as you to support you. Good luck!
Carla - hope you're doing ok! Such scares are not nice! Glad the BT showed everything is going along well - I'm sorry that you're having to go through this rollercoaster still, though. I hope the scan shows wonderful things that put you at ease some more :)
plc - hope the monitor results are ok, hun. Glad the palps have stopped at least. Green light is awesome! Happy to hear that it's full steam ahead for you shortly!
saph - very glad to hear the break is doing you good, hun. I was doing 3 to 4 hour rounds trips to get the clinic whilst I was in Central Vic this last couple of months, but without the screaming, so I could understand how much that takes it out of you! Congrats on the successful garage sale - a good days work ;)
:hello: to illuminaughty, Adele, Janet and Janie and anyone else I might have missed. So glad to hear that so many people in the thread are moving forward, starting new cycles, whether they be the first or not. Lots of hope and good luck to you all!
Hugs,
Miss C

Hi there
posted on the AC thread as well. just to let everyone who remebers me know that i am back.. yay! we had our last frostie transferred last month without success  so we start synarel on the 16th of this month and 150 puregon on day 1 or 2 of next cycle. puregon stronger doses this time so hoping for some more embies to play with!!!
Hey Son
Welcome darling - We had our last frostie transferred last month too and got bupkus! We have a great support team cycling this month and I am feeling so positive.
Have started weekly acupuncture with this cycle and have removed my bellyring as some hippy told me it would block the energy flow - I will believe ANYTHING at the moment!
Hugs and Hope
Adele

Hey to all
Miss C thanks for your info abour first day, yeah we also got a tonne of paper work to fill out , hope sib and ling are clinging on o.k. what is a chemical pregnancy?, heard a few peoplemention it, is it a phantom pregnancy?, hope your move goes well and you keep in touch with us all from the other side of the world.
Plc1805: yeah i'm just waiting to start 1st cycle ,our fs said chances of BFP was lower for our first cycle as they don't know how i react to all the extra hormones etc.
Tiggerlinda: yeah it's hard to find time to do things for yourself, but sometimes you just have to say i'm having a day for me and get something done that you want.
Saph 204: hope ur headaces are gone, they're not fun.
Illuminaughty: yes it is normal to feel fear !!!
i will be starting synarel ( sniffing) on the 18th of this month, it's my first ever cycle and i'm scared and excited at the same time. but it will be ok lots of other women have done this and have little bundles to prove it can work.
Scooby: sounds like a great holiday maybe a good TWW fill in too as time goes faster if ur having fun.
Numa: i'm douing ICSI too but don't start sniffing till 18th
Paula: yes we're ALL hoping for short journeys.
Sonya 1: i look forward to hearing about your cycle as you start 2 days before me.
Dellydoo: yes lets do all we can to increase our odds of getting BFP, i've got a hemetite key ring, supposed to be ultimate power stone and i often hold it and say " i'm going to have a baby girl", who knows if it works but i'll do anything. also got dh on a special diet to increse girl sperm ready for ICSI. will let you know if it works.
hey all i really enjoy reading your comments and it helps to keep me on track as i've not really told anyone, it's good to have the support without everyone calling you up everyday saying " are you pregnant yet ?", dh and i will be filling out the paperwork for the clinic this week and i have to pick up the synarel before the 18th so i can start sniffing then. i really don't have anything new as just waiting, waiting, this is the year for us hope to lots of BFP
grouphug::fertilise::bfp:
janet
Thanks MissC will get started on the blankie after my nephews (need kick up the butt :P)
DD and Numa my cycle buddies are you on a long or short cycle?
Paula heres hoping this is your first and last IVF round sweet.
Me THE OFFICE IS FINISHED - move furniture and everything in tomorrow. Phones will be a few days away but I will have a desk. 2 more sleeps till I sniff on Thursday Am Yay for me Operation Baby is almost under way :happyforyou:
I marvel at those of you who can do huge posts with personals for everyone - I've currently got two tabs open so I can give it a go...
Tiggerlinda - I think I'm on the long cycle. 2 weeks of sniffing, about 9 days of puregon. I'm estimating a transfer around May 8 :crossfingers:. How about you?
JBM - go the girls for you!
Dellydoo - looks like we might be cycle buddies? I'm doing acupuncture too, I think its helping me stay sane, and I hope it helps me get a BFP!
Sonya - hi and good luck with growing lots of eggies and embies :)
PLC - hope all goes well with your heart results, you so don't need extra stress on top of TTC! Be gentle on yourself...
*Paula* - we might be cycle buddies too. When do you start?
Miss C - thanks for your message, I'm feeling very positive about starting this cycle. Plus DH and I have discussed adoption, which helped to take the edge off the desperation that can arise. Hope you packing is going ok.
And hello to everyone else I haven't managed to name!
:)
janet
Hope this is not to personal but did you have assistedconception with your boys if you did I say you need a medal to do it so many times;)
Numa - 2 weeks of sniffing for me then AF and a scan on day five for drugs not sure on EPU or Transfer date. Our FS wants to go to blastie.
Wow April May is major cycle month for us all in here our Plan is ISCI as always Blasties x 2 to go back and accupunture support. Long cycle which is different from the down reg on the pill and the boost cycles we have done before going for 5th time a charm :)
:bluedust: sprinkles for all
Hey Numa - GL today sweet!!!:goodluck:
Not long to go now Scooby, TL, DD!!! :crossfingers:
Miss C - 7 sleeps to go!! btw, all good with my heart monitor results - thankyou.
Hi Everyone,
Just thought I would pop in and say that today is officially day 1 of my cycle. Have spoken to nurse this morning and I start on the pill on Sunday (Day 5). I am going to our compulsory counselling appointment this morning and will pick up the letter confirming when I start sniffing and have my first scan so will post more later.
Sorry for no personals at moment, but really should be doing some work before go to appointment! Will talk later.
Janie xxx
PCL - Thanks :)
Janie - I have everything crossed for you
HI Everyone,
TL GL for tomorrow! Can't believe that you are back into the sniffing again. You must be really looking forward to getting back into it.
Numa, DD. Sonya PLC and Janet hope your cycles go really well also.
To anyone I've missed... sorry! Hope you are all well.
Paula, it looks like I will be a little behind you in the cycle. I got my "run sheet" today and this is how it goes:
- Sunday 13th April start on Pill
- Tuesday 29th April start sniffing
- Monday 5th May take last Pill
- Monday 12th May have first scan
That is as far as they let me know, but I assume if all is well on the 12th I will start on the Puregon from there. So I would assume that my second scan will be about a week later and if all perfect then the EPU would be sometime on the week starting 19th May. But I know what my ovaries are like, and those dates are likely to get pushed around. A bit stressed as my BFF is getting married in QLD the weekend of 24th May. Hopefully there won't be any clashes of schedules!
Love to all
Janie xxx
Hi All
TL - I am not sure but I started sniffing on Tuesday and Puregon starts next Saturday 19th so 11 days sniffing and then EPU on 2 May - is that short or long??
Janie you will be fine sugar -I am hoping there are no schedule issues - I bawl like a baby at weddings (maybe that is why DP is yet to propose!)
Numa honey - how was the first day sniffing - was it today??
Plc - hope you are calm and in a happy place angel!
Love and hugs to all - I am off to acupuncture
Axxx
hi to all,
Numa with regards to your comment on everyones personal feedback, i make notes as i read everyones posts then i make mine, and this was the first one that i had a reply to almost evryone, i'm not good at remembering all the info of everyone.
Saph 204:
no this is my first ever cycle. i had all the boys naturally and if anything was very easy for me to get preg. i had 3 under 4 years and only had to look at dh to be preg.
but when last bub was 12 weeks old dh had a vasectomy and i was too tired to argue and emotional after bub so said yes, but regretted it later.
anyway now the boys are 5, 7 and 9 and i just can't let go that theres something missing in our lives and we are supposed to have another baby.
well ICSI is the only way we can go as DH total refusal to have reversal done as then what we we do for contraception. so thats me
to everyone else, hi, not much else happening,i went and had a look at a baby shop today and looked at some cots, positive thinking, maybe it will work, the lady asked me when i was due?!," how rude , my flabby tummy is from my other 3 boys actually, so whats your excuse, just fat?". no i didn;t really say that just thought it!.
anyway just quick message, chat soon
janet
Hi everyone!
My first day of the sniffing - oh that reminds me....I'm back (sniff, eew :p)
Tiggerlinda - I'm synarel 2 weeks too, but then the puregon. Interesting how all the programs are slightly different..
Glad to hear your heart is fine PLC :)
Janie - its good to get started on a cycle hey!
dellydoo - I think we have the most similar cycles. I'm meant to start FSH injections on 23rd, with a scan and BT on 1st May. If the same thing happens as last time, I'll be doing the trigger that night (if...) Close hey! I think they call it a long cycle, but not sure.
JBM - what an interesting story you have! Sending you lots of :stork-girl: vibes
I'm feeling very chirpy at the moment, I guess thats how it is at the start. I hope the mood stays with me, am enjoying it!
Janet
I too feel preg with my son natuarlly and after breast feeding for nine months never returned to a natural cycle. I have been ovulating with the treatment but the time for us has not been. Wehave a lot of family crap going on and I feel this is affecting us, but it will happen when the time is right for us.
Best of luck with this cycle I hope you only need one.
To everyone else hope all is well and these baby making machines are in fine form.
Ok First Sniff Down :p
Hello to all hope we are all we looks like there are a few of us on operation baby :p
Yeah Tigger.....sniff away...........your cycle will fly by Im sure.....how you feeling about it all?
hi Girls
Have been trying to catch up with everyone, so i will do my best, big apologise if i miss anyone:hug:
T.L. good luck with the sniffing,it must feel great to finally be getting started?
Saph: i really hope it your turn, those 3 hour drives would be testing enough never mind everything else, hope your having fun booking your hols, always a good distraction.
Numa: Yeah finally stiffing, cant wait to join you on sat, there are alot of us really close together.
Janet: i ahd DS really easily (first go) and i really dont know what happened, i had a MC when i was 23, but had fallen preg on the pill, so i think my fertility got up and went somewhere in my early 30's but its so frustrating and i think secondary infertility brings it own set of emotional turmoil. Good luck to you and hopefully your wonderful family will be complete very soon. PS stupid wench in baby store:lol:
DD: hope we get to share a very sucessful TWW very soon.
Janie: hope the next few weeks fly by for you, i was devestated when they put me on the pill, but i must admit it has gone pretty quick and if i had to admit it i enjoyed the break!
PLC: cant go back far enough, where are you at, hows things going? I take it the heart palpitations settled.
Son: welcome back and good luck with this cycle.
Miss C: good luck and have wonderful trip, im sure you are so excited, hope you get a BFP to add to your new start.
Well i start sniffing sat and stop the pill the following sat. Can i ask the girls who already have DS or DD do you find people rather un caring to the fact of what you are going through? Im so sick of hearing how i have DS, so it doesnt really matter wether it works or not! Please dont get me wrong because i realise how blessed i am but it just upsets me.
well hope your all having a great day and all the sniffers arent suffering too badly!
Scooby:hug:
So far I havent encountered anyone saying those sort of things about me with DS. I just try to suround myself possitive people. MY best friend is trying to tell me to have a break and try later. I don't know why she is saying this perhaps it is because they are going to try for a baby later in the year and she wants us to be preg together. Who knows. I realise that I am completely blessed to have Ds and that he was conceived naturally. (With very little effort) but regardless our family is not complete and it wont happen naturally this time. so here we are. And it will make this baby even more special because how hard it was to get it.
By the way are you north or south of the river.
Sonya - Welcome back! I haven't met you before as I probably joined after the last time you were here, but I wish you lots of luck with you're upcoming cycle, and so glad you've got plenty of other people here in the thread to go through it with!
Janet - a chemical pregnancy is where an embryo implants and then is lost shortly afterwards, before a physical confirmation such as a heartbeat on a scan confirms the pregnancy. It's also sometimes called a biochemical pregnancy, an early loss or an early miscarriage. It happened to me very early on at only 4 weeks 3 days, really just a couple of days after the day AF was due, and was confirmed at first by my BT at the end of the TWW :) I'll be in touch after we move, no worries! :D Hope the countdown to the sniffing continues to pass quickly for you, hun.
plc - glad to hear that you got the all clear with the heat palps, hun. Want to have you in 100% health for starting soon! ;)
numa & TL - sniffing buddies, so good that you've both up and running after a break. I'm sending you lots of sniffy vibes, that will turn into eggie vibes and into sticky vibes soon enough! Very excited for you, lovely ladies!
saph - how are you doing there? Hope you're ok
scooby - AC is a totally different kettle of fish than conceiving naturally, naturally! Most especially when it is as a result of secondary infertility! In any case, each pregnancy and time to TTC a child is blessed in it own right, and should be treated as a momentus thing and whether it's via AC or naturally, and separate from any other child conceived. It would certainly be upsetting to have people say you're already lucky because you already have a child/children. Already having children has nothing to do with how the journey to have another miracle works. We are trying for our first child, but I would never think that just because there are ladies here that already have children that they are luckier than me! I'm sorry you've had to experience people with that attitiude - it is hurtful :(
:hello: to Janie, Adele, Carla and all the other lovelies.
I'm still just so excited that there are so many ladies starting cycles now/soon and that there is so many wonderful opportunities for BFPs for you all!
Hugs,
Miss C
Hey everyone!!
Good luck sniffers when/as u start ur journeys!!!!!! with all my heart that it works out well for you all!!
To the other fine ladies in here, the sentiment is no less felt - we are fully deserving of some good news in here!
Scooby - how are you sweet? re ur q, I have had a couple of people say "at least u have DS" but not a lot of people know the extent of TTC difficulty we've had. We've had more things like "r u trying for another one?" in which case i kind of have a laugh and shrug it off saying "it will happen when it happens....not from a lack of trying". It is really hard isn't it? I never thought that i would only have one child (the fact i was able to have him at all considering the trouble now is just such a blessing). A girlfriend of mine has two children and has had 2 m/cs since and is desperate for a third. I can't say to her "just be glad u have got 2" just cos i want 2 - it would be like ppl saying to me just be glad u have got 1 at all. I think it is very hard when ppl who desperately want to just get pg no matter what the circumstance but oh my heart goes out to ppl especially trying for their first cos they should at least have the chance to experience parenthood if they want it.
Thanks for asking after me, yeah all good. Heart results came back ok - it's just that the palps happen too haphazardly so it's not to say they won't happen again. I'm just focussing on being able to TTC asap. I have 5 sleeps to go til i see my ob for post-op checkup but it has been 7 weeks since my lap and I am on CD6, have had a very normal cycle since the op and I'm thinking that i may just get on with the bding so that we can get something happening before o-day in a week's time. I appreciate that this form of conception is still an option for me (with a little AP and naturopathy help) considering the extent that you all need to go to to TTC but it's still early days for me and more heavy-duty AC may very well be necessary for me as the only option if things don't work out in the meantime.
Hi girls,
Just a quick note to say Hi, I'm still around & thinking of you all. Just really busy catching up at work (it was all waiting for me) & around the house.
Transfer didn't go ahead this time as our embryos stopped dividing. We're ok with it as I was really sick towards the end with OHSS. AF came Saturday and the 6 & half kgs I gained around EPU are almost gone
We've decided to wait til June/July before having another go as we have too many committments & FS wants me to have a decent break inbetween. Next FS visit is in June - Lots of questions for him ready for next cycle...
Thanks so much for all your support through our first cycle. We couldn't have survived it without all the kind thoughts and advice.:grouphug:
Evening all :)
YAY for sniffing TL :)
lou - sorry to hear that transfer didnt go ahead, I know how traumatic that can be. Hope you are okay xxx
Im taking a bit of a break from here for a couple of weeks, am trying to get back to a healthy frame of mind and not be surrounded by ttc for the next couple of weeks- hope you understand. My Day 21 appt is on Mon 28th April, and back to IVF when AF arrives. Hopefully I can return to lots of BFP announcements :)
Thanks everyone it was really interesting to hear your thoughts, im sorry about the winge, it really did help me just by venting, so appreciate you all taking the time to reply. When thinking aboout it i tend to be very quiet about personal things to family, and maybe they just dont discuss or ask anything because of that who knows? Anyway i am so glad i have all you wonderful BB friends, thank you!
So excited tomorrow we start a sniffing !!!!!
BecD enjoy youre break, you really do need to do it from time to time and i find if you dont the universe has some way of making you !
Issy: So sorry you didnt get to transfer, ohss sounds horrible, 6.5 kilos is crazy, you poor thing, anyways enjoy youre break.
PLC: glad your recovery is going well and i hope you get some good news about your cycle, you just never know it may be a natural one that works when you least expect it!
Miss C: thanks i totally get what you are saying and i feel so guilty for winging when i already have DS, i have to admit if the shoe was on the other foot i would be saying why are you complaining when you already have a child, so thank you for being so understanding.
Saph: i am north of the river near joondalup. Your friend sounds similar to mine, i think the problem is that they just dont understand unless they have been there.
Thanks again everyone have a great day, heres to sniffing ?!?!?!
Hi to all
Well I now join the tWW. Ovulation crept up on me and as far as i can tell was yesterday. As I am having an untracked unsupported cycle not much faith plus it all being guess work BFP is unlikely but who knows. Was going to jump back into the next cycle but I should be due for AF an the anzac day long weekend and we are going away. So I may have to do another untracked cycle. We will see.
Scooby - i live in Tapping which is on the other side of joondalup lake. Do you go through fertility north, I went there to check them out and found them very unhelpful. Just remember that people who are not going throughthis have no idea how hard it is when you so deperately want another baby to complete your family and ut just doesn't work. It is different for us because we have our DS but it doesn't make it any easier.
Anyway DS and I are having a PJ day:p.He is alseep so I have curled up and finished my book and now I am going to do some work on the computer. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
Hi Saph
Funny we just went for a walk and ds has a shocking cold so we are doing the same pjs and dvd's. Yes i go to fertility north. To be honest there are a few of the staff who are lacking in people skills and reception can be quite "firm" but all in all they are gorgeous and nurses like joan, karen, denise and michele make up for the rest. Joan is a god send, so caring and sweet, but i can see how you would be thrown off if you just spoke to reception. My SIL goes there as well and really likes them, its so hard to know. Although they were telling me (dont know if its true or not) but they have the best IVF success rates in australia at the mo, which is great. Enjoy your restful day and i hope this natural cycle works for you.
Hi Team
Enjoy work Lou
Bec have a great break
And to the sniffing team here we go towards BFPs hope you are all having fun
To all those ladies whose sniffing/cycles are underway... I wish you all the very best.
I have a quiet couple of weeks before I get started on the sniffing. Hating the waiting, but in some ways think that it will be good for me not to be focusing on TTC. As you all know too well, it can be so very draining. But only 2 sleeps until I start the pill and 18 sleeps until I start the sniffing!
Have a great weekend and I will speak to you all next week.
Janie xxx
Hi everyone, I?m back?.
We?re day 4 today. This month we are doing another FET but this time with 2 blasts. We can?t wait and feel very positive. We figure there is nothing more we can do as we both go to a fertility naturopath and I?m starting acupuncture this sat. I imagine transfer will be in around 15 days with my last BT being the 1st half of May. After falling pregnant in January, and MC in Feb, we look at the positive that we can actually fall pregnant?. So now every cycle will be exciting!!
Good luck to everyone!!!:loveshower:
hey all not much happening, i went to go and pick up my synarel today ready to start next fri and forgot to bring the form from the nurses?, i'm very forgetful. anyway i'll get it early next week.
Miss C: on the count down til your new life starts, thanks for your info on chemical pregnancy, even with another visit to fs and meeting nurses, theres just so much to take in,it scares me.
Izzylou: count down to june for you
Saph 204: hope TWW goes afst for you, i'm so envious of you and your PJ day. with 3 boys if someone gets sick it's just too bad and i have to soldier on, even if i get sick i still soldier on until DH makes me lie down!
hope your well
Bub wishes: i agree with you, if you can fall preg once then you can do it again, i had 2 mc before i had my 1st child and another before i had # 3. do you know that both your blasts will take and you're having twins !!!. anyway thats what i think.
i had a day off today and i got some maternity jeans although i can wear them now, they're so cumfy. i figure if i just imaging i am pregnant
& i do have another baby, then i'm sending those positive vibes out into the universe.
who knows if it will work.
back on the grind next week, i'm thinking of going back to work just one day per week to help time go faster, i also help DH in our own business with design and do all the bookwork, but i want to keep real busy.
7 days to start snifffing
Janet
