Well baby number two we are ready for you to come now! Went and brought furniture for a big boys room now so the nursery is free. So we you are ready we are ready for you to come. Having a teary day today. Going through my sons clothes that don't fit and wondering if we will ever get to use them again. Went to a friends house for dinner last night again she was trying to talk me out of the assisted conception:(. They just don't understand that if we don't do this we cant have another baby. She saids she wouldn't spend all the money with the possiblity of it not working. Well I am willing to take the risk. No amount of money will stop me from achieving my goal. Have had lots of cramping Af Aches today but i am only 3dpo so i don't know what it is all about. Maybe just feeling a bit under the weather.
Hope everyone is doing well. Lots of people sniffing together such wonderful support for each other. Lets pray for lots of:bfp: this cycle.

Saph hun  wow move into a big boys room Campbell must be so excited I do hope all goes well for you this cycle and a BFP is at the end. Re your friend I would avoid her for now if she dosent understand

Hi all, I have had my first rubella booster shot last week, and then have to wait a month and have a second one, and then 28 days after that I am able to TTC again!! So, trying to sort getting started in June, which is really exciting, and also really nervewracking and scary.
Good luck to everyone starting cycles!!
-
Hi girls
Hope you all had a great weekend.
Ilumm: good luck with the rubella shot and hope the next few monthes fly by (which im sure they will) Use the time to nurture and look after yourself.
T.L. Thanks for the advise, it doesnt seem that they relate nausea to syneryl anywhere, but iits definately happening and (sorry) but it is reassurring that you experience the same. Hope your feelin better.
Saph: Sometimes it really helps to have a sad day and i have to agree with TL avoidance of that friend maybe in order, but i know thats hard. I dont understand why its so hard to get what we are going through? My family and friends seem to be going the "if we ignore it, it might go away route" which is really p**sing me off. I told MIL over the weeekend about IVF and she completely chnged the subject, really quickly??? People are bizarre.
Ive spent the weekend fending off AF, it was due sat, but with being on the pill, its been fighting to show an appearance ive had spotting and cramps every morning, hopefully it will let up soon as im on it till next sat and i really dont want her to show up and reck this cycle.
Well have a great week everyone.
P.s. dont you love the new icons :excited::loveshower::cheer::goodluck2:

Thanks for the support,
It is hard to avoid this friend as she is my best friend and we have known each other for ever. She keeps telling me that the answer to everything is to exercise and everything will be fine. I know that the exercise will help and I am not making excuses but it is easy to say make time in your day for it. Like when. Those of you who have other children will get where i am coming from. She is about to start trying for a baby and she has this totally unrealistic idea of what it is like. She thinks that it will just sleep quietly in the corner and she can continue on with what she wants to do. Fat chance. She plans to put the kid in the creche everyday and go to the gym. Go luck to her. I didn't have my child/ren to put them in a creche for someone else to look after. Sorry for the vent but her lack of understanding and crap opinions have given me the willies, she is supposed to be my friend and support me through what ever,i think i will have to aviod her for a while because these feelings are not going to help either. Well i must go back to my spring cleaning after saying all that Ds is in day care today as it is usually a workday but i am on holidays so he still has to go or i pay for it anyway so I can clean without his help.
Look just ignore my rantings:doh: TL and Scooby hope your not feeling sick still and Af stays away. It is interesting reading your posts as i don't know very much about IVF it seems very involved and complicated.
-
saph - i know where ur coming from hun - being able to exercise with a kid is hard and i have yet to overcome that feeling by saying I'm going to walk the pram for 1/2 hr each day - it will come for me I'm sure but hopefully it will be soon.
And it is so disappointing when ur BF doesn't give u the right kind of support - or anyone else close to you for that matter. Unfortunately, not everyone close to us is good for us in certain situations. It might be beneficial just avoiding the subject with her (hard to do) and focus on topics where you and she can bond as BFs. One day she may be in the same situation as u (not that i wish it for her, of course) and might have different feelings on the subject. I didn't understand what my friend (who's 14th attempt at IVF was successful) was going thru - knew it was hard but had no idea - and i think only now i am getting only an inkling of what she had to go thru cos of what i have been thru.
Short story is that u need to look after ur bod and ur heart at the mo sweet and surround urself with positivity. GL!!
scooby - hey there - yeah that is really strange about ur mil - my mil told me not to think about it - yeah right. Not thinking about it would have meant my endo would have been left to increase and make things more complicated. LOVE the new emoticons!!! the ra ra girl is my favourite :cheer:!!
illuminaughty - thinking of u and hoping that this time really goes quickly for u - really do!!
TL, scooby and the others who are sniffing - hope ur doing ok.....
hi to carla, bubwishes, minnie-lulu, janie (GL to u!) and everyone else - hello and hugs!!
me - one sleep to go til the official word - unoffically we did start a few nights ago - wish me :goodluck: !!!

Hi Ladies... :loveshower:
Hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready for another week of sniffing/jabbing etc!
Saph, In regards to your friend, all I can say is, she should walk a mile in your shoes before making judgemental comments. If it helps at all, I really just think that people that have not been through this themselves, have no understanding of how hard and devastating it is. I know that I certainly didn't until I started going through it myself. She is your best friend for a reason, and I would hazard a guess that this is because she has been by your side for a number of years, so maybe you should tell her how insensitive she is being. If she can't accept that, then maybe it is better to keep your distance at the moment. GL with it all. Goodness knows that at times like these we really need our girl friends. :goodluck2:
Scooby, I too have just told my MIL and SIL, but don't know how they have reacted yet as they are in the UK so unfortunately I had to tell them by email as wasn't really up to a phone call. I think people just have different coping mechanisms, and some people only cope by avoidance. Perhaps she will be more able to talk about the subject once she has digested the information. It is such a pain when you are going through so much yourself, and yet you are the one that is having to hold everyone else together! :wtf: Fingers crossed that AF is going to stay away. Are you starting on Synarel soon? I start mine on the 27th and am so bored with waiting already!
Illuminaughtly good luck with those ruebella shots. Bring on June!
Miss C... only 3 days until you go... how are you???
Well I am okay, just bored and really wanting to get cracking with this cycle. Started on Pill yesterday and in two weeks tomorrow I start sniffing.
Hi to everyone I haven't mentioned above. Hope you are all well.
Janie xx

Its really naughty im hangin out on here too much when i should be studying. But this is way more fun.
Saph: I am a self confessed gym junkie and excercise nearly every day and NO its not the answer, its not working for me, i also study natural medicine, so i eat right, i take herbal remedies and apart from my coffee in the morning and occasional diet coke, i feel i do most things right, still not working !!!!! I even "slightly" blame myself for my ectopic prg as i kept excercising, my FS said to keep going with what i do, but the nurses said particullary with IVF, just before ovulation and in the TWW avoid exercise (gental walks are ok) Maybe i should eb happy that the only comment my BF had was "im sure IVF will work for you"
PLC::goodluck::goodluck2::goodluck::goodluck2::goo dluck::goodluck2:
Janie: its interesting actually cause SIL had AC she had 2 natual IUI cycles fell prg on the 2nd and we never hear the end of what a hard time she had and how difficult it was for her, Hope your news goes down ok, email is a great way to tell people. I started sniffing on sat just gone, it is a pain to wait but just enjoy your time out if you can, i know how frustrating it is when you just want to get started.
Ok i promise i wont be back till at least tomorrow, must do some work!!!!
-
Thankyou thankyou thankyou:cheer:
What wonderful women you are who needs friends when I have all you to support me. I really do feel guilty about the exercise before I had Ds i went to the gym everyday and since having him I am just not motivated so I am sure that some of this is my fault but who gives a rats.
You have all cheered me up and I only hope that I can repay the favour some day.

I know im tragic  It seems to have subsided, is ti ok to take something do you think? Hopefully i wont get anymore
Sorry now that ive had my daily winge
Smithy: welcome back and :goodluck::goodluck2::goodluck::goodluck2:
Hi Janie, another day down yeeehaaa
Hi JBM Not long now
Sonya: Thats good that you know what is going on withyour cycle i havent been told anything past ring the clinic on day 1 and keep sniffing. Thinking day one will be sunday so its coming up fast.
Hi everyone else, hope your all havin a great day.
P.s. Hows it going saph, thinkin of you and hopin your ok.
-
Sonya - good luck with your cycle starting! I hope that you get lots of great eggs going, and I'll look forward to hearing how it's all going in the next couple of weeks. :goodluck:
JBM - really glad that you'll have Sonya and the other lovely ladies here for support during the cycle. In my first cycle I remember getting very nervous just before I started Synarel. I hope this cycle goes really successfully for you - BFP here she's comes! :)
Hi Janie - thanks for asking after me, hun. I've been well, just very very busy in the lead up to when we leave (which is tomorrow - eeeeek!) I've been wanting to come and say hi more often, but time is so short at the moment! AF is due tomorrow for me, and no sign of her whatsoever yet, so finger crossed she stays away and BT shows success on Fri or Sat when we arrive! I wish you lots and lots of luck for your cycle, and hope that everything goes really smoothly and to plan. I might not be here as often for a while, but I'll always be here to answer questions eventually! ;)
Smithy - welcome back! I'm so glad your back in here and going through your next cycle with lots of other ladies at the same time - heaps of support. It's wonderful to hear you sounding so positive and excited - this cycle is going to be so much more successful this time, no doubt about it! :D
TL - hun, how are you doing? The synarel sounds like it's been playing havoc - I really hope you're ok. Please make sure DH is looking after you and you're not overdoing it at work. Thinking of you
scooby - hoping that AF is behaving itself! Have you spoken to your clinic about her trying to make a show? I really hope she does the right thing and lets you get on with things without the stress. Good luck with the next step!
saph - I wanted to tell you that I've been reading your posts when I can, but haven't had a chance to reply until now. I wished you lots of luck with your TWW in the other thread, but didn't realise over there that you were having stress with your BF. I'm sorry to hear it, hun. It's the last thing you need at the moment. It really does sound as though your friend - as dear as I'm sure she is - has a very limited world view, and very strong opinions that she should learn to keep to herself in sensitive situations, and understand how to be a more sensitive friend. Her way is not the best way, nor is it the only way, and I hope that you are able to tell her that if she continues to be insensitive to what you are going through. Never doubt yourself, hun. What you are going through, what we are all going through is REALLY big deal. It's changes us as people, and although this is meant to be for the better in the long run, the road to that point is fraught and difficult, and she needs to understand that. I hope you're doing ok now - such wonderful advice from everyone here, I'm sure it would help you feel much better :)
plc - Good luck hun! Woohoo about officially having the all clear! :D
illuminaughty - really hoping the time passes quickly til June - It's so exciting for you!
:hello: to any other lovely ladies here, and I hope you are all doing well in your respective cycles. Hope all the sniffing and upcoming events in everyone's cycles go really really well. So much great stuff happening and wonderful vibe in the thread atm!
Last post from me from Australia! Next time I catch you all will be in the UK in a few days. Catch you all then!
Hugs,
Miss C
