Been MIA again... So much going on the last few days.... Had to upturn our entire house to get our carpets cleaned, work is crazy busy !!! DF went back to work today (FIFO) after 5 weeks off so ive finaly got a chance to sit in quiet and chill. So missed my me time. Thank you all for you supportive comments on my
" Totaly Selfish Vent" post in the previous thread. Sorry to do that to you all, was having a rough day. I do have to mention that without that guy in my life i would not be half thr person i am today. He truly is wonderful and is going to make such a great daddy.

Follicles looking good - between 12 - 14mm.... Im looking at trigger on Monday and OPU Tuesday for Friday ET :)

N2l I am so sorry your scan didn't go well :-( hug
Sneaking in to say to N2L my scan showed only 3 follies, of which they got 9 eggs. Some follies were hiding "apparently" although I think the chick was slack that did my scan!

I reckon you'll have some hiding too N2L. It seems they frequently give a follie number and the egg count is about the same if not higher. How could that be if the research also says that not all follies hold an egg. FX for your pick up.
Sorry N2L that the scan was disappointing. I hope you get some late growers or some were hiding. Good luck hun.

Feeling a little more positive tonight.
My new mantra is quality over quantity. I have decided my body is putting all its effort into a few eggs which will be perfect :pray:
I forgot to say my lining is over 15mm and my E2 was 3,700.
N2l - Holy crap your lining is great wish mine was that good. Guess we can't have it all in this game it seems.
I like your mantra, good positive attitude to have :-)
kerbear - its not stupid to be upset that your cycle isnt going according to plan. the least we can all ask for is that our bodies do what they are supposed to when we are on ivf, its really upsetting and frustrating when they dont. i hope your lining picks up for transfer. :hug:
myturn - im sorry to hear about your sister. :hug: fingers crossed for your epu tuesday.
n2l - quality over quantity is absaloutely right! if this cycle was a bust, i was actually going to request a lower dose of fsh while stimming to go for quality. i get a good amount of eggs, but after transferring 10 embryos and not getting pregnant, it didnt mean much. i may as well have got 3 good ones. i hope you get an extra 1 or 2 when they get in there anyway. and i agree with kerbear - great lining btw. ;)

I really hope the 2 to be reassessed make it to the freezer, otherwise ill only have 2 embryos left after today.
I know it only takes 1, but I was hoping/pretty sure that was my last EPU :(
Emma Hope your transferred one today is a sticky one and you don't need the others but its good you have some to freeze, crossing my fingers your other 2 make it for freezing as well. Stickyvibes to you :-)

afm - felt like my ovaries were ready to pop at the gym this morning - wont be exercising in the TWW this time, so Monday is the last PT. one more scan in Monday to check sizes and I'm assuming still trigger for Monday evening.

Seems like a long cycle for me which is not usual but yesterday I caved in the morning and decided to POAS as AF is usually pretty punctual. POAS result was a :bfn: which I sort of resigned myself it would be. Anyway still no sign of AF today.
On Thursday this week I have an appointment to get the referral done for the new FS place and the appointment with them is the following week so hopefully we can start getting some assistance and some hope :(

Afm - had a scan today and follicles are going well, FS is hoping for 10 eggs out of the 14 follicles we have so hopefully we get that many that would be more than past pick ups. My lining has thickened 2mm since Thursday so she has decided to put me on estraderm patches to see if it can improve and if we have enough good embyro's she might still do a transfer. So we will see what this week brings.
Had trigger at 7pm tonight...yay no more injections :-)
Went away to the beach for a night which was really nice, fell asleep on the beach and we got a bit burnt even though we were in the shade so I am hoping they don't put the stockings on me for surgery cause my legs are burnt!!!

looks like about 8 or more follicles on each side. Yay! Hopefully the best haul ever :) between 18 - 22mm at the moment :) no wonder it feels like my ovaries are exploding :)

The US tech decided to do an external scan and there they all were, clear as day! She even gave me a pic!
There are 11 on my right ovary, 7 on my left. Most are around 17-20mm.
I am in shock.
