Sorry I've been absent this last week since I got my results. Have had my up & down days. Just waiting for bt tomorrow to make sure my hormones are behaving then I guess another bt and scan next week to figure out when I will take trigger shot and when fet will be. I am predicting Xmas eve. My acupuncture clinic will not be open so will not be able to do any after transfer. Had a session this week and one next week so fingers crossed that's enough. We have decided not to tell anyone we are trying again straight away. Will be very difficult not drinking over Xmas and New Years and nobody asking questions. Also I have to work & do on call Boxing Day & without saying anything I am not going to be able to get out of it. How do you all manage to keep quiet?

AFM - I'm on CD 7. My fs has me on clomid to do the iui and when i seen her the other day i asked her about injectables as i have heard they have better
results than clomid with iui's, she said i could do anything i wanted but because i respond so well to clomid i will respond really well to the injectables and i may respond too well and have to cancel iui because of too many follies so now i'm not sure what to do. I have another appointment with fs on monday morning and will hopefully get my trigger and start iui next tuesday and wednesday as i'm having it done twice a day apart instead on the once. Just praying for a christmas miracle.

Hi ladies just a question for you, can you start ivf on an induced period or do you have to wait for a natural one? Coz if i have to wait for a natural one that might not come around for 6 months
I believe they can give you some medication to induce AF. But I can't remember what it's called. You need to speak with your FS. Mostly they like to wait I think, but in cases like yours I'm sure they'd DO something xox
Hey wish and dream - just jumping in to say they can induce your period with progynova, I never get AF naturally so did this with all my cycles :)

Hi everyone.
How are you all?
I had my scan & bt today & at the moment my follicle is small, lining is very thin & estrogen is only 500 so need another bt & scan Wednesday. Looks as though transfer will more likely be Xmas or Boxing Day or later now. Amazing how each cycle is so different. I am hoping for day after Boxing Day now. I am working Boxing Day & on call :(

Hi everyone,
Just wondering what others opinion of OPK's are? I've never had a problem with them but this week I've had almost positives and then yesterday completely negative so at this point I have absolutely no idea whether I have ovulated or not. I've never had a problem in that area - have always been very regular however given that I haven't had a natural cycle since February I wouldn't at all be surprised if my body is totally out of whack! I guess it makes it an easy TWW for me - will assume I didn't "O" and if I did then that's a bonus. FS appt tomorrow so hopefully I can pick up the meds ready to start when AF arrives....

Sorry to hear that Emma. :hug: I'd be keen to investigate immune/clotting issues, if you haven't already. Tricky part is finding a FS supportive of that idea. Have you done the repeat loss panel?

I have had a recurrent loss panel that showed nothing to explain why this keeps happening.
My FS doesn't think the US will show anything either.
I doubt my FS will call this last cycle a chemical- by the time I had my BT, my HCG had dropped to 3.... But I was getting faint positives up until that very day.
My FS did mention something about higher than normal progesterone (I think) apparently it can play havoc with your lining?
Back to the drawing board I suppose.
Emma i don't have any advice but wanted to send you a big hug...
Emma, I think I heard of a Dr in Melbourne who is supportive of investigating immune issues. I'll have to log into FF to check though. I'll PM you if I can find it.

AFM - Have been MIA for a bit, still trying to follow you're stories... I'm waiting for AF at the moment, still hoping for a surprise BFP. Haven't done testing, just waiting to see if AF will show up or not. We had a beautiful wedding and my parents and sister are still here, so we've been spending lots of time with them. It's a bit tiresome at times, but we're trying to hang in there, as I don't know if my parents will be able to come this way again. (Financially that is, they love it here and they'd love to come back again). Thinking of you and thanks for all the previous well wishes for our wedding! xxx
