Joe is your Ivf cheaper if u don't transfer this cy?

They just rang me and told me all 3 have fertilised and made it so far! I am so relieved!
I'm hoping to transfer 2 at day 5. ... Pray pray pray.
Hope my lining builds up nicely by then, so many hurdles to jump... Ugh.
And I don't know what's going on with DF swimmers... They needed to thaw out all 4 straws to fertilise only 3 eggs! What the.
He's gone from his first batch of super sperm lol... To very poor motility after thaw and the time before he left a batch where none survived thaw!
Not another hump!
I don't get it we both got a healthy easy conceived child previous but we are having so much trouble having one of our own.
We both look so fit n healthy! You'd never guess

2 x 3 day transfer done!!! And we still have two left in the freezer! :crossfingers::pray:

GL Kel...hoping this one is super sticky!!!

Sarah unfortunately no discount (that I've been told about anyway!) but glad we are able to do at least one more stim cycle to hopefully get a few more to test. Wouldn't be happy if we could only do this current cycle as to put so few through pgd & possibly get none seems such a waste. Eventhough we are well over the medicare limit, rebate isn't anything like it used to be either.

Lab confirmed that 1 has definitely fertilised & the other one is still making its mind up either way. Will know if they are both good to freeze tomorrow.

Sarah there always seems to be another hurdle hiding around the corner that we never expect. Hoping you won't need to explore any more & all your eggies do well :)

Did you call the lab Sarah? Previously they have called every day to let me know how things are pogressing. good luck for tomorrow!!!

We only managed to get the one frozen embie. Perfect 4 cell that froze really well apparently. Just need it to be "normal" now! Unsure when next cycle will be so back into a holding pattern.

Yeah they told me they won't call today but will tomoz then Mon and tues transfer day omg I am praying for something to transfer!

I'm so glad u plan to do another cy and get pgd that is very good!
I am unsure if we will get to do another ivf cycle, I'd sell anything to do it but DF says different, maybe I could sell him! Lol . At the moment I'd like to strangle him as much as I love him, hormones maybe?!

Sarah everything crossed for you too I really hope all your embies behave and are perfect for transfer, completely understand my dp is being a typical male as
well he now wont do ivf at all so I have to hope and pray iui or natural works its so frustrating wish they could feel how we feel sometimes xxx

afm: my fs had to cancel my app cause of an emergency so I have to do a natural cycle which is just so frustrating but nothing I can do so not hopeful at all this month

Omg all three embies are all looking fine as of this morning so it looks like I WILL have not just one to transer but two like I wanted all along :-)
So I'm counting my lucky stars at the moment I was so scared I'd have nothing!
And I may even have a frosty :-)
I hope it's a good sign and I won't need my frosty!

AFM - Quick question for you ladies, have any of you had Elonva? I had a jab this morning administered by the FN and I have a bad headache and just feel really yuk and out of it. Anyone experienced this?
Also if you have had this drug how did it work for you?

A reminder of the guidelines for LTTTC threads.
As a LTer myself, I can assure you that it is a celebration indeed when a LTer finally falls pg, and it is very common for someone in those early stages of pregnancy to not wish to leave the support and familiarity of their LT discussion group. But please be aware that you may have been cycling with someone who did not get their longed-for BFP and to see your progress can sometimes be heart-wrenching.

However, we do understand that falling pg after LTTTC has challenges all its own, and it is in recognition of this that we encourage you to join the Pregnancy after LTTTC forum, where you will be able to obsess with women who have BTDT, while still being sensitive to the very people in the LT forums who supported you.

It's another chemical for me ladies- line had all but disappeared.
I wish I could think that it was a faulty box of tests, but I doubt it.
Looks like it'll be a full stim with PGD either this year, or early next year.
I'm feeling depressed and traumatized.

Positively, I was on the Elonva cycle the last cycle I did, and tbh I found it quite breezy compared to the other cycles I did (antagonist I think....). I was actually worried that nothing was happening as I didn't feel much at all. I got 3 x 3 day embies out of that cycle, 1 FET which was a BFN and currently I have 2 on ice. With the Elonva cycle I was told I could only do FETs. I think I got a few headaches but can't be 100% sure, sorry!

Hello to everyone else!

AFM, just plodding along, enjoying that lovely thrush that came with my antibiotics (NOT!!!!!). Feeling miserable down there :( Does anyone know if certain antibiotics cause thrush and some don't? Seems that every time I take them I end up with it :(

Miss B bugger about the thrush that is nasty stuff. Not sure if any antibiotics are worse for bringing it on then another. Next time you are given antibiotics start taking Yakult or something like inner health plus that's worked for me....might have just been luck though too

It's funny you say you never know cause damn that is so true. A very good friend of mine's nephew and his wife tried to have a baby for 8 years they eventually gave up and decided they would stop trying an accept they were not going to have kids.
They never went to a Fertility clinic in those 8 years they just tried naturally anyway a few weeks back she didn't get her period at first she thought she was just getting older perhaps something was wrong so went off to the Doctor a few weeks later when she wasn't feelign well. In her mind it was like we could never be pregnant but hey presto it has happened they are due late April 2014. She is 38 years old and him 45 years old.

Stories like that keep me motivated and inspired
