Megan! Thinking of you today, and sending plenty of:stickyvibesboy::stickyvibesgirl: your way.
Sonya - GL for BT.
HB - sorry to hear you're feeling rather ordinary. Have a great week off - sounds like exactly what the doc ordered.
Shan - how are you feeling so far?
My 2nd BT & US was this morning (day 7 of injections), and all coming along nicely apparently, although they didn't tell me how big my follies are. I know from looking at the US screen, I still have 6 on the left and 11 on the right, and the bigger one on my right is 13mm, with a few others a bit over 10mm. I'm hoping this is ok at this stage in the cycle, as I have no idea being my 1st cycle??? I am guessing / hoping EPU is around Thursday / Friday, but the clinic hasn't eluded to much with that either. Oh well, shall keep plodding along. Not feeling too badly, so am happy 'bout that.
Hi to all!

Arielle, those sizes sound about right to me I think. My follies seem to grow quickly, and after 7 injections I am ready to trigger but they have told me that most people have around 10-12 injections. 17 follies sounds like a good number. When is your next scan?
Transfer went well this morning. We had 2 embies transferred....a 9 cell and an 8 cell. She said they like them to be 6-8 cells at this stage. I remember my last stim cycle and transfer, my best embie was a 7 cell. The other 3 were all progressing well and were all at 8 cell stage. She said they were looking good to freeze but would check them in a few hours. So, I wont find out until Monday if they were frozen.
I was first up for the day and the Dr wasn't there yet when I got there, so I was sitting in that chair waiting for him for a while! But, it was easy if a little painful and all over in less than 5 minutes.
I've been taking it easy for the day, and I am still a little sore from EPU. So, I guess now I'm in the TWW. It's been a while since I've been here. :)

Thanks Megan. I've heard around 10-12 injections too. Next scan & BT is Monday so here's hoping my follies have plumped up a bit more by then.
That is excellent news about your 8 & 9 cell embies. Sounds like they are advancing even better than expected, so hopefully that means they're more likely to be sticky ones! 3x8 cellers left over too is awesome. You are no doubt stoked with this result, compared with the disappointments of this year. I really hope this is it for you, and will be keeping everything crossed for a BFP for you in 2wks.
Rest up well.

Arielle - Your follies sound wonderful at this stage - you will find by Monday that they have grown considerably - Mine always plodded along slowly and then got massive within a few days before EPU.
17 follies is a really good amount too - Make sure you're drinking heaps of water now though - 2-3L a day, just in case you grow some more, and because your existing ones will only get bigger now!
You don't want OHSS!!! Lots of water!!!!
Megan - Have posted in your journal, but I can say it again - YAY!!!! on your ET!!! (And on those waiting to be frozen).
I am just so happy for you - So glad you had a wonderful cycle this time round - Hope the 2ww is a quick one & this cycle finishes off as perfectly as it has been throughout ;)
Me - Well, the witch has arrived today - Very unusual for me being early (I know, only 2 days, but my body is usually like clockwork) - My EN on my legs have improved dramatically since AF arrived, so here's hoping they go away for a little while now!
-
Thanks Holly :) Glad to hear your lumps ;) have improved. Also, happy to hear that you found another name for them other than lumps! lol

megan - best of luck in the TWW. those embies sound great!
Arielle - your follies sound good and being all similar sizes can only be a good thing...
HollyBolly - good to hear your legs feeling better!!!!!! hope AF isnt too harsh

woohoo its all happening smithy! best of luck

It's nice to be able to congratulate you officially now, Sonya.
Don't feel guilty about leaving us all behind. It's always hard to go, I found it dreadfully hard to leave when I was pregnant. But it's the fact that people do get to leave that gives us hope that it will one day happen for us also.
Smithy - good luck with your trigger and EPU. The trigger is probably the most painful injection of all of them, but it's still not that bad.
Me... feeling very anxious, nervous and excited now. I see my specialist tomorrow to hopefully get started again! Just to make things even more interesting - my body has ignored the pill once again, I started bleeding on Friday, gave up taking active pill tablets on Saturday, so it will be CD 2 or 3 tomorrow (depending on exactly how you want to count it)... I start letrozole tablets on CD 4, so hopefully he'll let us start straight away... and the timing might just work for us to squeak in a transfer inside the school holidays.

BW.. best of luck to you for tomorrow hun ill be thinking of you xxoo

Sonya, congratulations to you again! :)
BW, I hope your appointment goes well tomorrow. Being able to have a transfer during the holidays would be great so I hope it all works out for you. Will be thinking of you tomorrow. :)
Smithy, good luck for Tuesday. I've had 3 triggers, and the first one hurt the most (because DH didn't get it in the first time so I was stabbed twice!). I have found the last two to be fine. No different from my gonal-f injections.
I think I forgot how long the TWW feels, and I only had transfer yesterday. Had my first crinone gel last night and I really hope I don't suffer from that stuff this time around. I was always teary on it last time. Hopefully once I get back to work tomorrow, time will go a bit quicker. I am going to accept a promotion I was offered on Friday, so this will be my last 2 weeks in my current position. So, there will be lots to keep me busy. I also have my counselling session at the clinic on Tuesday. I feel so much better now than I did when I made the appt but I still think it will be beneficial to go and talk things through a bit. DH isn't going because it's something I want to do myself. I feel a bit guilty because I think he feels a bit left out.
I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend. :)

Well AF arrived this morning so I guess we are really doing this. I have to go into the clinic tomorrow for an ultrasound and blood test and then I start jabbing on Wednesday apparently. I was really excited up until this point, and I still am I guess, but just so incredibly nervous as well.
