thankyou Rach81, there are only 2 more sleeps left for me, assuming AF doesnt arrive before then.
If I get thru to Thursday and come out with a BFP, I'll be shocked. Very pleasantly suprised, but SHOCKED!
Muppity - all the very best if luck for tomorrows EPU. Hope you get lots of healthy eggs.
Good idea getting the shows organised so you can watch TV all day. I did the same thing. It was unreal, I dont think I have done nothing for an entire day for many many years now :)
Hi everyone else, hope you are all well and BFP's are just around the corner for everyone :grouphug:
2 more sleeps for me. I so very much hope that my body is playing tricks on me and Thursday will bring me a BFP.
Good night girls, I'll check-in tomorrow.

Hi all my friends,
I hope everything is going well for each and every one of you. Sorry for no personals..will keep up with you all from now. Been thinking of you all though.
I'm back from my work trip...had a good trip and am ready to get everything started next week. I have an U/S on Monday and will hopefully be starting needles then. This is my first antagonist cycle, so I'm excited about EPU being so close.
Will catch up with you all soon.
Sweet dreams
Hugs Bel

Hey all you gorgeous baby makers, I hope everyone is doing well. I can't seem to keep up, so no time for personals today.
AFM. My EPU keeps getting delayed by a couple of days, but according to my BT and US yesterday, I will be scheduled in for Monday the 29th! One more BT and US tomorrow morning, then trigger for Saturday night, in on Monday. They keep telling me everything looks fantastic which is making me feel really positive, said that my oestrgen was 4500???? Don't know much about the levels, it's just too hard.
So will update you soon!
Muppity, how was your EPU???
-
Hi All
EPU went well yesterday. Am feeling great - but trying hard to take it easy - not often you get a certificate to say that DH has to be nice to me! (I sent him to work today - he was driving me insane yesterday afternoon with all his "caring")
Neptune - bugger that they keep moving it. But good that it looks like all systems go for Monday. hope that they don't move it again on you.
Hi to everyone else :)
-
Muppity I am really glad your EPU went well yesterday... Resy up as much as you can. Do you have 2 day embies or 5 day blasties transferred? Just curious? My clinic seems to do 2 day embies..

Hi Ladies..
I'm kinda new around here.. I have been lurking and watching over you all but haven't really posted much til now cause nothing much was happening but I'm now booked in for a Lap, hysteroscopy, Dye and D&C to see if there is any reasoning behind our difficulties in TTC.. 30 September is D day... After that will be determined by what is found.. Either way I just want to keep moving forward.. Hi to you all and I look forward to getting to know you...

Hi Ladies
lilmisshavachat good luck with your way forward, hope your BFP is just around the corner.
Muppity congratulations on the EPU, hope the little embie sticks and you get a BFP in 2 weeks!
Neptune good luck with your EPU, not sure about the levels, but if they made a special mention about them then they must be good! Hope you also get you BFP in a couple weeks.
Bel glad this is a short cycle and your EPU will be soon. That is very exciting, I am keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Hi to everyone else, I just want to say thankyou for all the support I have received in this thread throughout my IVF journey.
Today I recieved my BFP, and it wa sthe biggest releif I have ever experienced. After doign so badly at EPU and only 1 embie left for ET, my hopes werent all that high. But it all worked out for me in the end.
And I hope that it all works out for each and every one of you here.
IVF is such a rollercoaster, the emotions we go thru are all over the place, and every one here desrves to get their BFP very soon.
Wishing everyone lots of luck with whatever stage they are up to now :goodluck2:
I will keep checking in to see how you are all going.

Congratulations Luckystrike..

Well, hello ladies, I've been lurking for a while but I've decided it's time to properly join this thread.
This is my back story: As of today, I'm on Day 2 of my first ever IVF/ISCI cycle due to male factor infertility. We've only been trying since around February this year but after about six months I mentioned to the Dr we'd been trying with no success and I was expecting to be told "you're young, keep trying and we will do tests when you've been trying for a year" but instead she sent both my and DH off for the basic preliminary tests. I secretly think she thought I had PCOS as I have a few of the "visible" symptoms. But no, luckily I don't have PCOS. Instead we found out that my DH has very poor sperm in terms of count, motility and morphology. This was completely unexpected as DH is a very healthy, non-drinker, non-smoker and has never really been sick. We were floored by this new but quickly went into "action" mode and jumped on the IVF/ISCI bandwagon to parenthood. (Along the way we were delighted to concieve a "miracle bub" but lost him/her at only 5 weeks 1 day. Our FS was floored that DH's swimmers had managed that but FS said it was extremely unlikely that we would be able to conceive ourselves again and that it was a statistical abnomaly).
Anyway, we are of course hoping for a BFP from this cycle but trying to stay realistic by saying we would be happy with some frosties in the freezer for future cycles. A few of my "barriers" when it comes to IVF include a very kind and loving mother-in-law whom I get along with very well BUT who hasn't heard of boundaries and the fact that I work for two very cold bosses who are power hungry, secretive and sometime just plain mean.
I'm hoping to join in with you all along your journey and to also gain from your experience and wisdom. Now, has anyone heard the urban myth that milk and eggs are good for nice egg development? What do you think?
Hope you are all having a good day!

Hi everyone
Firstly, welcome to our newbies :welcome:
Lucky - CONGRATULATIONS! That is wonderful news  Wishing you a wonderful 9 months.
Ruth - welcome and congratulations on starting your cycle. I hope that it all goes really well for you. Sorry to hear that you have awful bosses. Remember that pretty much everything occurs sleepily early in the morning (or it does at most clinics that I am aware of) and you really only need time off for the EPU and transfer. You will get a medical certificate for both and it generally doesn't mention what it was for - mine just says "medical procedure". So there is no reason for them to know unless you tell them. It is none of their business. As for your MiL. Don't you want to just strangle them sometimes :). Again, if you aren't comfortable with it just don't tell her. If she asks just say something like "yep - it is all going really well" and change the subject. the only hard bit it making sure that you and DH sing from the same hymn sheet.
Dee - welcome. Wishing you luck for the 30th. Remember to rest up afterwards - none of those procedures are much fun. Although I did find looking at the screen for the dye test quite interesting.
Rach - we do a day 5 blast transfer. So should be Monday afternoon all things going well.
AFM - my nurse called yesterday to say that we had 12 eggs picked up but quite a few were immature. But they decided to ICSI 11 of them and yesterday we still had 10 really good embies. I couldn't be happier. DH was strutting around like a pea**** last night saying things like "oh yeah - who's da man?" Enough said :)
Hope that everyone is well.
-
Luckystrike that is great news congradulations I am so happy for you:clap::dance::cheer::thumbsup:
Sorry no more personals
AFM still experiancing one of the lightest AF visits I have ever had it is like she is her for about a hour each day then she goes shopping or something and all I get is spotting and this has been going on since Sunday. So anyway started Puregon injections again last night and Pregnyl injections tonight so cross my fingers and hope this cycle goes better.
Good luck to everyone else hope everything goes well for you all and a big :welcome: to all our newbies.

Ladies I just wanted to pop in and wish you all the best in your TTC Journey.
Weather you are pill popping, sniffing, jabbing, epuing or eting you are all a step closer to that BFP.
I got my BFP yesterday from my Second IVF cycle and although we got lots of good eggs at EPU only one was good enough to go back and non were able to freeze.
As they say you only need ONE....
Take care ladies and hope to see you all posting some great news very soon :grouphug:

What a wonderful note to come back on! Congratulations Nicole. What wonderful news!
Well ladies im back into this thread. I see there are lots of new faces so slowly i look forward to getting to know you all.
DH and i got back from our European holiday on th 14th Sept and we had our FS appointment yesterday to get back into the IVF journey. We are hoping that it will be third time luck for us. We feel that everything is going really really well for us at the moment. We had our holiday, DH just got promoted last week and this week... we bought a house! So much happening and all for the better, so now we just need a little bubba to complete the picture.
I started Provera and Synarel last night so now i just have to wait for AF and then get started with the fun injections.
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend
-
Thanks Paula, sending you all the luck in the world and  that 3rd time lucky for you
Gee you have had alot of things going on...many congrats on buying a house
-
Hey Nic - Well done! You're right it only takes only lil sticky!!!!! Very happy for you! :loveshower:
Hi Paula, I've seen you around but wanted to actually say Hello so :wiggle: to you! Hope this is the one!
AFM - I just want to get started I have about 14 more days. Once AF arrives I can start the pill for 21 days and syneral - I think 5 days into that! I have a mountain of uni work to do so I keep telling myself - get it done before the bimbi's - less stress that way!!!
Oh well - take care and :stickyvibesgirl: to everyone!
Rach xx
