Hi everyone :hello:
Sonya - sorry to hear about your loss...hopefully your health is much better next time around
Me - had u/s & was supposed to have blood tests too and although the nurse jabbed me in both arms plus my hand my blood just didn't want to cooperate. So back to try again tomorrow. Follies aren't doing much yet so will have another u/s in a little while to check.
I am so glad I am flat out at work cause at least time is going quicker & my mind is occupied on something else!

Hi everyone
Wow - there is so much going on in here that is so hard to keep up with when you can't get onto a computer everyday!!
I had my 2nd u/s this morning and FS is very pleased. Had b/t and we are looking good for an EPU on either Friday or Saturday. I have to ring the nurses tomorrow to confirm the trigger and pick up day!! So exciting and am feeling so relieved already. This cycle hasn't felt as emotionally draining and stressful as last time so I am really hoping that this time we might have a good chance, and DF is not travelling this week, so that is even better.
I will try for a few personals but my memory is a bit dodgy at the moment...
Sonya - sorry for your loss... at least you know now that the embie implanted so that is more info for you. Another step closer...
BG - we might be in the TWW together!! Good luck with your IUI! The TWW thread might be getting a bit busier soon
Ellie - that's a bugger that AF hasn't arrived. Is there something that can be done to help it along?
Alicat - I'm not easy at getting blood out of me either... they had to send for another nurse the last two b/ts! Hopefully you will have better luck tomorrow - drink lots of water so try to make your veins stand out even though it is cold, which seems to make mine shrink back into my body, it does seem to help.
Jo - thanks for asking about me. I am feeling tired and headachy still... I should be exercising still (about 3kgs more to lose to get me back to my pre-Implanon weight 3yrs ago) but I just have no energy. But I am excited about an EPU and am really, really hoping that we get to transfer stage :pray::pray:
BW - I have been thinking of you hun. Glad to hear that you are starting to take a few steps forward. I agree with Rols, if you can do it once, you can do it again, when you are ready mentally and physically. Take care.
To everyone else, hi and hope everything is going well. I will pop back in tomorrow once I have more news and will try to catch up with everyone's journals.

Cheryl - it's sounding much more positive for you this cycle - good luck - will be great wf we're tww buddies!

Hi Rols,
Thanks so much! Nice to see a Dad to be taking such an active role!
Your comments have made me feel much much better. We have decided not to see the f/s specialist yet and to keep trying for a month or so more and then maybe go in Sept if still nothing has happened. Good luck with your first IVF cycle in August.
Cheers.

Glad to be able to help Sarah. Make sure you do see your FS at some stage though, as they are the experts.
Like I say, if the problem is only lower motility then you can still get there naturally, it's just that the odds aren't as good (like maybe 5% per cycle instead of 25%). I don't know about your DH, but I know I felt like a pretty big loser when I found out I had the problems. But since then it's been reassuring to find out that male factor infertility is much more common than I, and I guess many other blokes, realise.

I'M BACK!!!! AF finally showed up today so I'm officially 'back in the game'! So it's all go...BT tomorrow and puregon day 3 ready for FET...my head is spinning...I can't believe I will be sitting in the fertility clinic tomorrow at the beginning of a new cycle...a new hope of our dreams coming true

welcome back
and good luck hun!
-
Thanks BG...I'm getting a bit excited!
-
that's great hun - excitement is a good sign! i'm so happy that you're ready physically and emotionally to take that next step - AF must have been waiting for the perfect time to visit you
will be keeping an eye on you hun
-
That's great news Ellie, and great that you are excited too. Good Luck.
-
Way to go Ellie, good luck with this cycle!
-
It's exactly 8 weeks today since D&C...weird?
-
i don't think it's a coincidence - you're body and your emotions are in tune hun - as much as you were physically wanting AF, emotionally you may not have been ready - now it looks to all be in tune
good luck

Hi everyone
Ellie - fantastic news! That is so exciting for you and it sounds as though you are in the right place mentally. That is great - well done and good luck!
BG- goodluck with your TWW! I will be thinking of you and waiting!
Well it is all systems go for me - had my trigger tonight and EPU is Friday! Haven't heard anything about the transfer yet but I am guessing it will be on Monday. DF has organised both days off work which is fantastic and while work is very busy at the moment, they will just have to cope without me for a while! I am still feeling pretty good, apart from headachy, being tired, sore BBs and feeling very full in my ovaries, but mentally feeling positive and excited! I have a very good feeling about this time  I even managed to find the energy to go for a walk today which always helps with my headaches.
Take care everyone!
