AFM: Still waiting to ovulate. CD20 today, last cycle I ovulated on CD30 so I'm hoping it will happen by then. This will be the first cycle since the HyCoSy so with any luck it made a nice clear path for DH swimmers :)

I'm so glad you guys had some drinks on New Years too! I used to almost withdraw from life during the tww but since this ttc business has turned out to be a long term project - it's just too much life to miss out on!!
Sunbeam - I'm so sorry about your fishy. His tank mate will miss him too :( Do you think knowing this is the last year you'll put yourself through this will make it easier or harder? I really really hope it happens and will be cheering you on like crazy this month!!
Tasha - I hope you ovulate soon, waiting sux!
Minnie and Joeve - how are you surviving the tww? What day are you guys on?
Saffy - Are you still planning on taking a break in Jan?
AFM - tww is uneventful :asleep: But i'm only 4 dpo. Just trying not wish my holidays away wanting the tww to be over (not really succeeding!!) :doh:
Just a question - how many dpo do you all start to POAS? With my 2 previous pregnancies (miscarriages) I got faint positives at 8 dpo... but I know better than to start that early, and it would send me broke!!

Sunbeam- I would love to say its my last year of ttc too, the thought of me being in this situation next year is too much to bear- uurrgghh. Hope we both get what we want. No, I don't have time off yet!! I'm having 4 days off @ the end of the week, will give you a bell then if you're free. I had new years eve day at the beach though and went for a great swim. Sorry about your fish, gosh you must look after them well, we used to have a very high turn over in our tank. I forgot to tell you my last AF was only normal for 1-2 days then spotting for a few days so maybe i am geting shorter AFs too.
Mich- there is no way i would poas at 8 dpo!!!! I try to hold out until 12 ish DPO but I can understand why people test early. I would just hate to get a bfn and be shattered, if it was a false one. I'm having a break from ttc a bit as I am on the pill for 3 wks until my next cycle begins, no break from work though- no rest for the wicked unfortunately. Long term TTCers need alcohol in their lives if they are going to remain sane through this journey lol! Hope you had a great time!
tasha- yeah, I hope for you that the clearing out of tubes was worth all the pain and that the path is clear for a bfp!!

sunbeam: sorry to hear about your fish :hug: you certainly did well to get him to such a good age ! sounds like a plan to try as things are (unless fs can suggest anything else) this cycle, its hard not to try when you regularly ovulate. im with you though this will be last year i ttc
saffy: yes going on the pill seems so the wrong way to go with ttc, fingers crossed doing something different helps you. did you get my PM (was last week or maybe the week before)
mich: fingers crossed for your 2ww, i usually try to hold out until at least 10dpo before testing or even 12 dpo
afm: this 2ww is doing my head in, i don't know what is going on, i think it was 2 cycles ago that is was a complete breeze and this one is more than making up for it, seems to be going sssooo sssllooww *sigh*

Cd 26 today did Internet cheapies just because they are here bfn of course. I have no symptoms no illusions no hope. Bring on AF!!!

i don't know and its really strange too because usually im only ovulating now so you would think it would seem like a quick cycle but it doesn't !
Maybe it was Christmas let's blame that! I think for me it was all the meds this month that made it drag on... I am getting over it maybe now the side effects of clomid are rearing their ugly head!!!!

Saffy - I refused to take BCP before my antagonist cycle because the last time I came off it (all those years ago back when I was straight :lol:) it took 10 months for af to return so I told FS there was no way I was risking it! Yes I'm definitely up for a chat when you have your time off :p No ideas on the af front can't even find any reasons from Dr. google.
Tasha - Yay for tubes having a spring clean ready for their little visitors. Bring on the eggie.
Joeve - Internet cheapies are c%$p we all know that. I hope a proper test on a proper dpo shows a proper BFP :crossfingers:
Minnie - I'm sorry the TWW is being such a drag, I know there is no way to rush it so I hope you can just keep occupied.
Mich - I don't know if my last year will be any different, I can't think of anything to do differently so I guess I'll just see how it pans out. I'm a POAS addict but I wait till at least 10pdo.
AFM - I've booked to see FS on the 9th (cd13) so I'll see if he has any more answers for me then. I will also get the results of my AMH (I think that's it, its the one that says how much egg reserve you have left.)
My fish, Nemo seemed fine alone but the tank seemed so empty without Jack (he would have been about 14cm long with his huge fan tail) so I went and got a new little fish, Buddy. He's soooo tiny compared to Nemo or Jack he does nothing to fill the space, I might have to get a second little one then at least Buddy will then have a friend when Nemo finally goes. Nemo seems unbothered by Buddy but then he is mostly blind! Poor old fish. I've no idea how I keep them for so long but they just seem to last forever with me.
Cleaning feverishly as Mum and Dad arrive tomorrow for 6 days (praying for sanity and patience around my mother :pray:)
Sunbeam - good luck with the FS and also with the parents!! Their visit should at least keep you occupied until your appt :) Will the result of the egg reserve test change your treatment in any way?
Joeve - Hopefully it's just too early for you :crossfingers:
Minnie - sorry you've been having a tough 2ww. I was doing ok in my 2ww (all 4 days of it) but just spent the entire day playing with my rellies babies and the desperation for this cycle to be the one has come flooding back! Grr. So will you POAS Friday?
Thanks all for your advice on when to POAS. I'll wait til 10 dpo (Sun) then I have the blood test at 12 dpo. My specialist likes to test early - I'm not complaining :)
Unfortunately holidays are over and it's back to work tomorrow :( At least my boss is away for a couple more weeks :happydance:
