Hmmm same as when you ovulate without clomid. The chances are still around 20% per cycle if everything goes right.
I guess its the same as ivf where they put the embie in and you know there is egg/sperm connection and sometimes it doesn't work either.

Hi ladies!
I don't know whether to be sad or happy to be back in here, I thought a 6 month break from TTC after years of trying would be hard but boy was I wrong! I think starting up the TTC "regime" again has been hardest, it really hit me for six when I realised what we're in for for the rest of the year.
Looking forward to catching up with you all and meeting the new faces

Welcome back toomanyshoes, hope your stay is short and sweet :)
-
:hello: toomanyshoes, as Joeve said, hope your stay is short and sweet.
Joeve, about clomid, I guess I just wasn't used to having 6 chances in 6 months! Woah, that was definitely a change. Wonder if they would let me try it one more time if the IUI doesn't work
-
Are you having any drugs with your iui?
-
yes, I think it will be FSH and then the trigger which is HCG (pregnyl). I just had exremely high progesterone levels when on clomid so I worry about these more fancy drugs giving me OHS (ovarian hyper-stimulation syndrome sp?)

-
Good luck with your scan today Andie! I hope it time to schedule the FET. I lol'd at work about the ovulation celebration graduation thing :)
So Tasha - did you decide against using the applicator then? Dying to know, ha ha!
Sunbeam - It's so discouraging when the scales don't reflect your effort :( Must be the drugs... so it will just have to fall off when you stop them :) I'll be on 100 puregon a day (along with the synarel). Does that sound low? Good luck job hunting!
Joeve - have you done IVF before or will you be a newbie too?
Minnie - grow follies grow!!
Saffy - I'm losing patience waiting for your BT! Why must they torture you for so long???????????
Hi Toomanyshoes! - Nice to meet you but sorry you need to be back here. Are you doing a cycle right now? Would you like to be on the list?
Nothing's happening here, still not surging - which is ok. But I'd like to see some LH action by tomorrow - thank you...
-
Thanks toomanyshoes - just saw your post :) I'll add you!
-
Mich first time for us we had our appointment booked last year in April and got a bfp... Which then of course didn't work out.
Toomany I hear you this tww is dragging!!!
-
hi girls,
welcome toomanyshoes :)
andie: how did you go today ?
mich: i must have missed it but what did you graduate from ?
saffy: how are you going ? hope you are hanging in there ?
tasha: how do you feel about not trying this cycle ?
you other girls made me laugh, sunbeam im going to have your thought of the scientist chasing those sperm around now and catching them by the tails lol
afm: well im on for epu thursday morning, i feel like it is all going so quick i want to put the brakes on for a bit but at the same time i want it done :)
-
Mich, No applicator business for me  And yes I am 1dpo, nipples are killing me, so even without OPK I know it happened. Where is your egg!? Hurry up, what the frig are they all doing!
Minnie, Good luck for Thursday, hope it all goes smoothly:) I feel so totally bummed about sitting this cycle out. But it's only because of the ewcm I had. If I didn't have any like usual I wouldn't really have cared as much. Can't help but think maybe we should have.......
Hi everyone else :)
AFM: Slowly getting over the shock of not trying this cycle :( But on a good note, DH started his new job today. He loves it, it's still truck driving, but less physical labour with this job. Not sure if I mentioned, he had to get quarter zone injected into his knee so he had no choice but to leave his old job. Also, does anyone know if DH's are expected to come to nurses appointments?
-
Tasha just reading my ivf info book now yes DH has to go to to nurses with you :)
-
tasha: my DH hasn't made it any appointments with the nurses, he came to the appointment with the fs and thats been it. we figured it was better to save his days off for when i really needed him (which will be thursday !)
-
Oh really? There you go :)
Minnie I have everything crossed for you it's getting exciting :)
-
Hi everyone, been thinking about you all ,thursday is shaping up to be a big day!!I'll be stalking, hope you don't mind, fingers crossed for you all
-
hi toomanyshoes :) - i am a newbie, been lurking for a while though. 6 month break from ttc - how lovely! i have just had 2 months off, and it was nice not to think about it for a while. wishing you the best of luck.
mich - you are so lovely & welcoming to the newbies (like me!), and the returning newbies (like toomanyshoes) - thankyou. are you having BT's yet for your surge, or still waiting for the clear postive on seratec?
minnie - epu does seem to have come around quick, hopefully quick enough so you dont have time to stress out about it. your will be in the tww before you know about it... is your little one doing better now?
tasha - well done with the restraint of not trying, that must have been really hard.
hi joeve, saffy & sunbeam.
afm - scan today showed i havent ovulated, one lazy follie measuring about 15mm. FS said not to bother with seratec anymore as they dont seem to be working for me this month. having another BT thursday to check for surge, if nothing - then another BT on sat. hoping i can get to FET by middle of next week. seems to be taking forever this month.
