LT TTC after Miscarriage or Loss #12

Hi Girls,
I'm finally over the shock of all that happened with my GED. Because of it I have also decided that I will no longer listen to the odds for anything because the odds of me finding a 23 year old with an AMH of less than one must be about 1 in a million, so bugger the odds! Plus you all seem to thing its a good idea for me to have a go with my own eggs.
Saw FS yesterday and I will start the pill when AF arrives on sat/sun. Because of my age, I'll be 41 soon, he wanted to put me on the highest dose of FSH (450) but I talked him down to 350 since I made 20 eggs on 300 (and 12 on 250) just 2 years ago and my AMH was still at 20 when tested last Nov. I think 450 would over stim me and I don't want a cancelled cycle. So if all goes to plan EPU should be around the end of Sept.

I got my dates today, PGD EPU is booked for 26th. Oct. Here we go! I start the pill on Saturday, my birthday :D

Got 11 collected at epu today, exactly same as last time so I'm happy with that. Transfer scheduled for Sunday, will find out fertalisation numbers then too.

Saffy - I was definately looking fwd to the sleep at epu this morning as I had convinced myself that I had ovulated already & was googling & stressing from 2am until I left for clinic at 7am... :-/

Sunbeam - belated bday wishes, not sure how I missed that too! Hope the pill popping is going ok.

what!! 11 is unreal :clap: you are a good egg machine love. I thought the same thing my last epu and stressed myself into oblivion, why do we do it to ourselves?? As if here isn't enough reality to stress about without fantasizing up more. good luck for fert results.

It's happened to me once before, so when Saturday came round & I didn't feel bloated anymore - the panic set in... my FS scanned me prior to epu to make sure I hadn't, which I really appreciated. I will let you know fert. results after weekend. : )

Yep, transferred a blast yesterday. Bit bummed as others faded away & only 3 'slow' ones were going yesterday... not sure if they will be good enough to freeze. I didn't expect all 8 to go to blast, but maybe 3-4? Just disappointed, FS is talking PGD if this one doesn't work. Sigh.

Hi Andie yay on blast! I feel your pain re the others I ended up with non to freeze and it's so disappointing. Hopefully they pick up :) so you have some for the on boards siblings!!! Goodluck and crossing everything for you xx
