Hi all wow a great idea for a thread..

ok well i have had 3 misscarriages 1st in Dec 2012, 2nd Feb 2013 and fianlly the worst one in August 2013 that turned ceptic, i got a suction curet done after spending 3 days in hospital ooohhhhh it was horrible the best part about it was i had my own room .. well it has been a very bumpy and disheartening road for both myself and my partner.. but it has been 6 weeks since i went to hospital and no sign of AF?? my boobs have gone all funny again and im constantly tired.. i am waiting to see the doc on thurs at 4pm after i got a blood test last week. i did a urin test at the docs last monday and it came back neg but i still have my hopes up to a degree that this time we have got it right.. i just needed to get all this off my chst and find out about any success stories to help give us both some hope ..

It certainly is a hard road this one and it's hard to put one foot infront of the other sometimes. My first loss was back in Nov 2011 at 8wks and I've had 5 chemical pregs since, my last being 2 months ago.
Finding it hard to go on right now. :-(

Thank you.. well AF showed up this morning but at least now i can start charting again and now we can let the fun begin in try again so fingers crossed we have a great xmas present this year

Thought I might join in here is anyone is still around. I have not been on contraception since my youngest was born early 2011. I have had 5 losses all up. 3 were between my 2nd and 3rd child. It took us 2.5years to conceive her. As I only have 1 tube left which is damaged we didn't go back on contraception and I hoped for the best but once again the journey had been longer than normal. Last year I had another two miscarriages. I'm over it really but am determined to give it another year in the hope to have another baby. After that I think I will give up and look for full time work and focus on an investment. I need to move on at some point as the past 6years have been quite traumatic at times with infertility and loss of dreams and plans. Everyday I am grateful and count my blessings for the life and children I have but do still hope my body and dodgy tube can pump 1 last baby out. At this stage we won't be going down the IVF track so if it doesn't happen naturally then that is it for us.

Mildez, i'm sorry you are having so much trouble conceiving. I feel your pain.

Me and DP have been trying since june 2012. I fell pg for the first time in may 2013 which ended in a m/c (blighted ovum found at 9w5d). Then found out in dec 2013 that i was pg again. And again it ended in a m/c (saw hb at 5w6d then gone 4 days later). I'll be 28 this year and after waiting for 10 years to find someone i loved so much that iwanted to share this joy with, i have struggled to come to terms with what has been happening. I honestly never imagined i would be in this position and never thought i would struggle. I always hear or read stories of woman who struggled to fall pg but i never thought that would be me.

You are blessed with 3 (i'm presuming) amazing (i guess it depends on the day) children. Dont be too hard on yourself. I hope you get the outcome your wishing for.

I am sorry your journey to have your babies has not been quick and easy. I hope this year brings you your sticky baby.

Most of the time I am ok with how things have happened although at other times its very disappointing that the decision to have my babies and when has been taken away. I work as a midwife and although of course I see babies born to parents that have had difficulties for most it seems you stop contraception and bang pregnant fairly quickly. I wish it was like that for me too.
