Porsche-going by my u/s dates and growth of bub mine implanted on day 5 so two days after my day 3 embie was TF and i was really bloated and looked 6 months pregnant for a few weeks so all good signs good luck.
Mildez-ooh! so excited for you.
Mindhugs-thinking of you today.
Alice-i know what you mean they never think of the kids until the deed is done.
Mathewsmum-good luck with your TF on the 27th.
AFM-waiting waiting one of my DH frineds from work brought us a wooden elephant from Africa for good luck with this bubby.
Oh thanks Ferrals. I feel bloated and look UTD. I've put on 1Kg (not happy Jan) and my tummy is back to being sore again and feels so firm. I feel like I've done 100 sit ups (lol I imagine that's what 100 sit ups feels like). It hurts to lie on my tummy feels like a sharp stretching pulling feeling if that makes sense? And coughing sneezing well ouch. I thought my tummy was feeling much better on Sunday and it's all come back again.
I had cramping yesterday but I think that was the Pregnyl from Sunday night. I have another one to do tomorrow night and again Sunday night. It’s all so new I have no idea what to expect. What’s normal and what isn’t. And to top it off my FF chart is looking nothing like any of my other ones.
Sorry that's my whinge.. If I knew what to expect then I would be OK.
Porsche, I wouldn't expect your chart to be normal during an IVF cycle (not that I've charted during one but I might ask about it today and see what the naturopath says). When I did my last IVF I had the Pregynl injections for the first time and I only had two - one before the TF and one a few days after. I guess if you are having a few then it will throw your temps out. The hard belly sounds promising to me - I remember feeling like that when I was pg and was amazed how quickly it happened. Also lying on stomach being painful. Oh fingers crossed it's all good - when are you due for your bt?
No need to apologise and it's not a whinge - that's what we're here for! Take care xx
Hi ladies,
Alice - Sorry to hear that others are putting their worries on you, not what you need right now. Take care of yourself and don't be afraid to put your needs first. Glad you have started BCP, if my HCG is back to zero I will hopefully only be a week or so behind you.
Saffy - Yes it is lovely to have my housemate home :). I'm so sorry you had to go throught the stress of a furbaby going missing. When I first moved into my house my furbaby went missing for 2 days, it was cold and pouring rain and I was convinced I'd lost her forever, then on day 3 she turns up dry and fed and happy to be home!! Little bugger! I'm going to start acupuncture when my HCG hits zero , so probably next week, I'm hoping it will make AF show up timely. I hope you have a lovely weekend away.
Mildez - I really hope todays appointment goes well. I understand the just wanting to not know and hope everything is okay. I really hope that is the case for you.
Mindhugs - I'm so sorry to hear your FS made you wait 2 weeks before doing your D&C how horrible for you. I hope it all goes okay today and that you are able to rest up for a few days. Big hugs. I will pm you all the details for my FS I'm sure he is more proactive and is a lovely guy.
Porsche - I hope the feelings you have are all good signs even if they are a bit uncomfortable. So glad to hear you have 4 happy snowbuds :)
Happybaby - I understand the being all googled out  Best of luck for the bt lets hope the BFP's keep coming.
Mathew'smum - Good luck for your transfere in 9 days.
AFM - I have another bt on thurs and hopefully my HCG will be back to zero. I plan to start acupuncture next week to help my cylce and get AF here as proptly as possible. I am traveling okay but can feel the sadness well up from time to time. I found a gorgeous sleeping angel figurine on the weekend and have added it to my angel garden. I am up in the sunny coast from thurs evening for 3 days at my best friend's place so that will be a nice break and a fun time.
Hi Alice
Thanks for the info. My BT isn't until the 28th. So I still have just under 2 weeks to go. I just feel I'm flying blind lol. I kind of expected my chart to have higher temps with the progesterone. But ah well.
Sunbeam - I hope the time away will do you good. Take your mind off of things for a while.
You girls a great thank you.
Porsche- sounds like implanation cramping?? :crossfingers: that this is the case. Glad you got 2 snowbubs, but you won't need them yet!! Hope you feel better, I don't know whats normal or not but a lot of people seem to get cramping before a bfp so its looking good so far for you xx
Sunbeam- enjoy the sunshine coast, we will be freezing down here!! Hope AF is kind and hurries up for you.
Alice- are you feeling any better? The pill made me in the best mood I had been in all year, no tears or depressed feelings....oh the irony....
Ferals- I love elephants and have many different elephant figurines etc around my house, I hope it brings you good luck, what a nice gesture
Matthewsmum-not long til your transfer :goodluck:
MIndhugs-thinking of you, hope everything ok:hug:
Happybaby- the cramping sounds good!! Hope it is implantation for you xx
Mildez- how are you?
Hi Thopes, Crafty, anyone else
AFM- did nightshift last night so very tired today, baking cupcakes cos I have a craving, otherise will be settling into the couch wathcing dvds today. No side effects from Syneral yet except for constant headache which is fine by me, could be worse!
Just a quick note to let you know I had my appointment and Dr has confirmed we have a uterine pregnancy so we are very very happy. Crown to rump length is .33cm and it said I am 6weeks pregnant on the little picture we were given (Dr didn't tell me this). My dates are earlier then this by 2-3days. I am wondering if its really 6weeks or earlier not that even a week makes much difference. No HB but they saw a fetal pole which they didn't see 6days ago so its definately grown. Dr said it was measuring the right size going on my LMP which is 6weeks ago so I dont know if he wrote the 6weeks in by the LMP. I had to have a vaginal scan again. I didn't even know he has an ultrasound machine at the surgery so it was a nice surprise. He said I now don't need one until 18weeks or 12weeks if I want the NT scan. I wasn't game enough to ask for one to see if it has a HB in a few weeks so I just kept my mouth shut. For us having a uterine pregnancy is the biggest hurdle to get over. And I am just so grateful we do and I can't say there are any problems so I just have to keep telling myself I am pregnant and so far so great. I googled and it said not seeing a HB under .5mm was normal although you can see it earlier. I'll be back later
Mildez - CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Im soooooooooooo thrilled to hear your precious little one is healthy and happy!!! :leap::confetti::happyforyou::bellygrowing::lovesh ower::hooray:
Porsche - praying that the next few weeks goes quickly for you and you get your bfp!!!! Yipeee!!
Love to everyone else!
Sorry no persies - im a bit crook, picked up some virus and been really dizzy, blurred vision, and tired with lots of headaches, feeling blah so im heading back to bed :asleep: !!!
xx
Hello Ladies
Not sure if I belong back here again yet but I am driving DH mad with my ramblings about what to do next so i thought I would give him a break and talk to others who would understand. 4 weeks ago we had our 4th miscarriage, this one at 12.3 weeks. I have been pregnant for 10 months of the last 18 months and while everyone is telling me maybe it's time to accept it isn't meant to be, my heart tells me my family is not yet complete. I saw the OB yesterday for a review after my D&C. He says we could try again but be prepared for disappointment. No kidding!! I asked for a referral to an FS so that I could get a realistic assessment before attempting again. I can't believe how naive I have been. This OB and my GP, while well intentioned, persisted in telling me it could just be bad luck and try again until you have 3 miscarriages (they won't consider my 2nd miscarriage as genuine because it was very early). Surely when someone is in their 40's and has even one miscarriage they should be referred to a specialist. I thought the OB was a specialist and didn't have a clue about the whole fertility deal. I kick myself for spending the first 6 months TTC not knowing enough about ovulation to have missed all those opportunities because I didn't know I ovulated late in the cycle. I just followed the dates give as a guide on the net. The moment we found out and BD'ed a week longer I got pregnant straight away. I'm not even sure I can get pregnant again. My body has been through so much lately. The first thing I have to do is try and lose a bit of weight. I've lost 5kg's since the miscarriage but should lose another 10 to be the correct BMI.
I apologise this post is very self involved. I just had to get it all out.
Hi ladies
Mildez - That is fantastic news! Congratulations.
Sammy - Welcome. I'm sorry your hear but nonetheless welcome.
T-Hope - I hope you feel better soon. I hate being sick.
Mildez-congratz hun you did it and all by your little self no ivf nothing you clever thing.
SammyP - Welcome with open arms to our little place, sorry that your journey has led you here but the gals in here are gorgeous, supportive and truly understand! I hope we can make this road a little easier for you because we 'get it!' Sorry to hear off your recent loss, and all your losses for that matter! I lost our little one at 12.4 wks last yr and still struggle daily! 12mths on and we are still unable to conceive but we are now in the hands of a fabulous FS in Melb who tested me and DH straight away - we now know DH has high abnormalitieswith his sperm, and I have endo and PCO! No other doc was even going to look into it! We start IUI in 17 days!! Happy to give you his details if you want are looking for a new proactive FS! My g/f starting seeing him b4 me after 3 miscarriages - she is now 14wks preg with twins!
Take care of yourself ok xx
Hi ladies-Brrrr, its cold here today, hope the rest of you are somewhere warm.
SammyP- hi and you are more than welcome to join us here, even though you probably wish you didn't have to. I spent a fair few months after my miscarriage thinking I 'O'd later than I actually did and its frustrating when you realise how many missed oppurtunities there were. Hope your stay here is short anyway.
Mildez- you are a brilliant woman missing ivf by the skin of your teeth! Good news :leap:
Thopes- hope you are feeling better, I think I have cold, doesn't sound as bad as your virus. Rest up!
Hi everyone else xxx
oh girls - i have a question .... DH and I were just doing the deed (TMI Sorry if you regurgitate your dinner!) and afterwards there was a decent amount of pink blood! Eik! I've never had mid cycle spotting!!! Has this happened to anyone?? Can you spot when you ovulate?? Just when I thought I knew it all.... Eik Eik!!!! Help!! :o
Hi Ladies
T-Hopes Can't help with your question. I've never had mid cycle spotting.
I was taking a shower just before and I looked at my tummy and I seroiusly look 6 months UTD. Holy dooly. I hope it goes down. I took a pic of it to compare to my 6 week pregnancy pic from before my M/C and I'm sure it looks double the size. I hope there is a buba in there.
For those on pregnyl how long does it take to ween out of your system? I'm on 1500iu.
Hi everyone - just a quickie sorry as I gotta eat dinner, just got in.
Mildez!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!! Such fantastic news - woohoo!! So good to sneak this one in and glad that bub is in the right spot and growing. Big hugs to you!! x
Porsche, the Pregnyl takes between 3-5 days to wear off apparently. Also asked about charting during my IVF and was told not to, that the negatives (for me) would out way the positives (for her, in knowing what is going on). So try not to put too much into it. Wow that's a long wait for your test but we'll keep you company. Hang in there - you'd have lots of extra fluid so that would be making your tummy puff up but nice to think it could be a sign of bub snuggling in. Here's hoping!!
T-hopes, yes, you can bleed when you ovulate, so don't freak out, it's probably OK but maybe mention it to your FS when you see them especially as you have had the endo op recently better just to double check all is OK which I would think it would be.
Saffy, I've been the opposite :( grumpy as all hell, headaches etc but like you, just getting on with it 'cause it's all part of the bigger picture. I'm also taking DHEA which definitely does not agree with me so probably the combo of that and the BCP. Ah the joys of LTTTC - NOT!!
Sunbeam, thanks lovely, I've decided I need to close off a bit from all this stress and upset around me because I get to affected by it and I really don't need that now that I'm finally going into this long awaited cycle so trying to let it all go and just focus on myself more. Have a great time with your bestie - nothing like the love of a dear friend to help you feel better. The little angel sounds lovely x
SammyP, I'm so sorry for all your losses   I hope you find the support here you need (I'm sure you will) and you are very welcome. xx
Hi to anyone I've missed - sorry to rush x
Hi Ladies
Thanks Alice on the info. It's all very conflicting info on the net lol. I've sacked Dr Google. I'm BBT charting more out of habbit now. I've been doing it for about 9 -10 months now so It's kind of hard to stop lol. And I guess I'm expecting to see a massive thermal shift.
I can't wait until Saturday when I can sleep in. This TWW is the most draining so far. I don't feel any symptoms at all.
