Hi to everyone else floating around - hope you are all well!

AFM ~ had a bit of spotting and thought ohh perhaps implantation bleed because I only at CD 29 and usually my cycles are at least 32-34days but no doesnt look like it, appears to be getting heavier and brighter (sorry if TMI).
Had a job interview Thursday - might be getting back into my field of study, FX'd

hi everyone,clinic rang today ,blood test showed a positive hcg level,but progesterone was only 1,so nurse said embie implanted but my ovaries didn't continue to make enough progesterone to support the pregnancy,she said if embie hasn't come away already it will soon.Have to have bt's until they 're showing no more pregnancy hormone.

matthewsmum: so sorry to hear it was positive but with low progesterone, i take it they can't do anything about increasing the progesterone now ?

loops: good luck with the new job, when will you find out if you got it ? has your bleeding increased over the course of today ?

matthewsmum I guess firstly I have to say how sorry I am its a bfn but on the bright side at least you have a little hope that it can work for you if they sort out the progesterone side of things so a little bit positve thinking and I rekon you will be in with a bfp next time, must be so tireing all the stress but try to rest and look on the bright side you are so close now I can feel it keep going !


afm well still bloo*y hot here in Perth and well it just sucks all the energy out of you as we have no aircon and trouble sleeping in the heat, anyhow DH says come back in May for more ttc sex as its too damn hot and he hasn't got the energy ! so I am quietly thinking oh well thats it then hes lost interest and I can't say I blame him after 17mnths of constantly DTD at around ovulation time I must say its become a real chore and maybe we should just throw in the towel while we still love each other iykwim !!!!

MatthewsM ~ So sorry the PG wont eventuate - I was the same with very low P4, I feel for you. But yes as per what Crafty said, at least you know you can do it. Surely there is something that can be done to prepare for next time in terms of the low P4. Rest up and I hope its not long until you can try again. (((GBH)))

MM ~ Thanks heaps, they are interviewing more this week, so I might not find out until next week. Yeh unfortunately the bleeding has increased but at least its come on time this time, hope that means my system is getting back to normal after last IVF back in Oct. Any sign of O'ing for you yet? Goodluck

thanks ladies,bleeding has stopped,hcg is down to 2,so clinic said i could go straight into another fet,tracking for 'o' will start on the 7th.Asked about progesterone support next time to help,but the nurse said today that even if i had progesterone support this time it probably wouldn't of made a difference as bt before transfer showed prog levels rising.i've read that high progesterone doesn't hurt,so i'll ask again,or to at least test progesterone after transfer,what's another bt.

Firstly, Matthewsmum- SO CLOSE, :hug:sorry it didnt' get there, bl**dy progesterone, I wish it wouldn't wreck all our plans. You were a natural FET weren't you? Are you going to do natural again or HRT? I wish the clinics would be a little more generous with their progesterone support if it is safe to use, how frustrating! I really wish you didn't have to be disappointed again sweetie xxxx

Loops-did you end up getting AF? At least your cycle is getting shorter hopefully. Did you get the job??? Hope so, xx

Crafty- oh poor you, I don't blame the DH's for throwing in the towel occasionally, they must feel like giggalos at times, TTC sex is definatley a chore sometimes. Has it cooled down??

AFM- Starting jabs next week, I'm a bit worried i've got an ovarian cyst though as I have had pain ond off in my lower left side for a few months, I went to my gp about it recently and have a scan on Friday. Once I started the OCP for this cycle it went but now its come back again, both GP and FS had a feel inside ( nice) but didn't feel anything. Please god don't let it be anything that cancels my cycle :pray:!!!!

In other news, I had a cry to my acupuncture lady about my progesterone last time and my FS, she is going to give me herbal support in my next cycle to help the progesterone, and she thinks I should swap clinics if this cycle doesn't work, as the FS an hour away gives much more individualised care than the one I currently see. I sort of knew this anyway, but the last meeting I had with him pushed me over the edge lol.

Anyway, hopefully it won't even be an issue, :pray: for success!

saffy: good luck with your scan tomorrow, i hope it is all fine, you don't need complications ruining a cycle. good your acupuncture lady will give something to help with progesterone

afm: day 21 today and positive opt today, we are covered for the last few days so might do it again tonight or tomorrow night and we should be in with a chance

I agree minnie! Its not like its coming out of their (well-lined) pockets, gives us the progesterone if we need it please!

my scan went well, I do have a cyst but she said it is 'para ovarian', next to but not connected to the ovary so shouldn't be affected by the ivf, PHEW, full steam ahead for my cycle hopefully. I will ring the clinic to check the FS thinks its ok, but the ultrasonographer was confident it would be fine, she was really nice too!

saffy: good news that what they found won't affect your cycle, did the clinic confirm that for you ? so where are you at now (sorry i lose where you are up to)

afm: i ovulated on thursday, wow was it painful, im still a bit tender now ! i have started on vit b6 in the hope of extending my luteal phase to give me a chance, i also ordered some progesterone cream (i hope i haven't mentioned all this before lol) and im hoping that will arrive tomorrow so i can get started and try to increase my levels

Saffy ~ very pleased you can go ahead with your cycle. At least you know the cyst is nothing too sinister. Yep I def had AF, she's been and gone. Just move forward now and try and BD with DH's brace LOL. Oh well makes it a bit different I guess :p

AFM well AF turned up 2 days early so yay for a 29 day cycle instead of guessing but boo for another month of trying and hoping DH has more energy and is more interested this time lol well will be 46 in 6 wks time so still time to get UTD before then and well how do you stop trying ? guess I will just keep going but have considered its time to sell all my baby stuff and face facts !!

just popping in to say af arrived today for me :crying:, 11 dpo (started spotting yesterday), im quite down about it, its not even the trying part that upsets me, i don't expect it to happen straight away, its just that my cycle has ended too soon every time and im just not getting the chance for anything to implant so im really not in with a chance at all, its really getting me down today

Oh minnie :hug:, its so hard when your body won't cooperate. Sorry Af came too early. Did you get a second opinion yet? Surely there is something available to lengthen your luteal phase? Blooming Af needs to nick off and stay away xxx

Hi everyone else, no time for persies as I am about to go to work, have ben busy at work and home this long weekend so will catch up properly tomorrow, I am onto day 4 of jabs, still getting pain in my left side which is getting worse I think, I wish it would go away, but I will ring clinic tomorrow to discuss with them. As long as it doesn't wreck my cycle i can put up with it. xx

AFM ~ my DH is so sweet. I was a bit upset about the whole TTC thing the other night and then stayed in Melb for the following night for work. When I got home the following evening, he had candles lit (the house was smelling beautiful), had tea cooked and flowers :inlove:

matthewsmum: sorry to hear your numbers aren't increasing as they should be, hopefully in a few more days its better (how often do they do the blood tests ?), are they giving you progesterone from ovulation this cycle ?

saffy: how is your cycle going ? hows that pain ? i hope you are getting closer to egg pick up. im seeing the new specialist on monday so im looking forward to that, im ovulating on clomid, just need some help with the progesterone it seems (and yet as we know drs seem anti giving it to us !!)

crafty: how are you ? where are you at in your cycle ?

afm: i have managed to pick myself up out of the doldrums today, starting clomid again tonight

minniemouse-glad ,your sounding brighter.bt's are daily as my levels get closer to what is needed.no,they don't think i need progesterone support at the moment,even though that is the hormone that is not rising????but i have a herbal mixture from my acupuncturist which is supposed to help with it

minniemouse-cycle going well thanks, i was just about to call the clinic and my pain went away-phew- just get it occassionally now which i can handle. Scan and BTtomorrow, hoping for epu on monday, I can feel my ovaries so thinking that follies are growing. Thats good news about seeing another dr on monday, is it a obs/gynae? Hope they give you some answers xx
