Hi girls,
joeve- hope you caught the eggy, and are now resting lol
maruschke-does that mean you have cancelled this cycle? Are you feeling ok? Next month will come around very quickly
sunbeam- when are you going for it with new donor daddy?
hi minnie, crafty, matthewsmum xx
afm- no natural miracl for me, bfn and pre AF spotting, was REALLY depressed yesterday ( last day of my holidays- eek!) but now i know its because AF is coming. I think I'll give it one more month of trying then go back to another FET.
have a great day everyone :)
-
hi everyone,saffy-sorry it was a bfn, even though our heads tell us it's against the odds ,it doesn't stop our hearts from wanting & hoping,hugs...afm-planted a plant & some seeds for my ivf embies, buried the test tubes with embies that weren't transfered in the pot as well, thought my edd for the 1 embryo that did implant was the day to do it...

Hi all saffy so sorry about your cat and your bfn chin up girl keep on going life will change for the better soon I just know it will
sunbeam wow great news on new donors swimmers for your slu##y eggs can't wait to see the results of your first cycle !!!
Maruschke fx for you IUI
afm well day 4 AF eventually showed up day 41 this month
Just been to see my GP a new one since I moved house after my mc. She was so nice we talked about my mc and the fact I been trying now for 2yrs with no success and I asked about her thoughts on what I should do now. She is doing blood tests for the next month once a week to see what my hormones are doing and if I am ovulating and suggested the Anti-mullerian Hormone Test and Pelvic Morphology Scan to see exactly what my egg reserve is as its obvious no eggs left no point carrying on trying, so girls I am going ahead with the tests and will just have to live with the results !!!
-
Hi Lovelies,
Saffy - Sorry for the BFN sweetie. I think it is a good idea to give yourself one more cycle before FET you have been through so much lately the break is a good idea. Sorry your holidays are up I hope it is not too hard going back to work.
Crafty - That is so awesome that you have found a sympathetic doctor. I really hope the results are good and you get your chance at one more bub. :goodluck:
Mathew'smum - That sounds lovely planting some plants for your little embies. I have to think about that now too as it is time to decide what to do with my one left over embie. I'd love to donate it but I don't see my old donor going through the blood tests and a counselling session to make that happen.
Joeve - Good luck with the egg catching I hope its a good one. Think you will be in the TWW by yourself for a little while so come on and start the next lot of BFPs. ;)
Maruschke - I'm sorry your scan was not good, that does seem a bit early to trigger you, but then again if the follie grows 2mm per day it would be 18 mm by then which is what they like. What did you decide to do?
Minnie - How you going?
AFM - Had my scan yesterday and I have one follie at 14mm and lining was only 6.5 so it looks like it will be a bit later than my usual day 17 so depending on the OPKs which I'll start today we will probably insem on thursday and saturday and maybe sunday too.

hi girls,
sunbeam: great news about DD, how are those opt going ? i hope you are inseminating as i type lol
saffy: sorry to hear you got a bfn and af  on the positive side your cycle kicked back in quickly
Maruschke: what happened with your cycle ?
matthewsmum: that was sweet to bury the test tubes with your embies
joeve: how are things going with you ?
crafty: good to hear you have a supportive gp, have you gotten any blood test results
afm: i ovulated on monday, we haven't tried this cycle for a number of reasons but at least my cycle looks like it is starting again, will be interesting to see how long my luteal phase will be
i also wanted to give a big :grouphug: to everyone in here, i appreciate you all so much, you are so supportive of everything that happens not only in the ttc and miscarriage but in life in general
-
-
Sunbeam - best of luck with the insem. Are you triggering, or waiting for the normal LH surge?
-
sunbeam- hopefully you are already on your way with insem etc, go for it girl!
minnie- hug to you too, you are very supportive to us all as well. Hope your luteal phase behaves itself
joeve- how is the tww going?
maruschke- are you in tww now too? if so good luck
matthewsmum- thats a beautful thing to do xx
crafty- I love your new doctor! She sounds like she is on your side, I hope you get the results you want
afm- over the worst of AF, I am happy she didn;t stuff me around and came at a good time. I bought some internet cheapie OPKs- am I wasting my time w them or are they ok, its just so expensive to keep buying the good ones. I will just probably go with ewcm as well.
-
Hi ladies saffy I got the internet cheapies opk and then got clear blue as I thought the same but no difference in results so use the cheap ones I say.
Girls it's been suggested to me my best option for achieveing a healthy PG with ivf would be to use donor eggs as the age of mine is the major problem, trouble is costs involved here in Perth as well as my age for clinics is too old. However Thailand's costs are within my budget and they are happy to see me upto age wait for it 52 so I am seriously considering it. Anyone know anyone who's used Thailand's IVF. clinics?
for those who know my story we started off our journey using donor sperm just seems right to end it using donor eggs!
-
saffy: i have always found the internet cheapies worked fine
crafty: i dont know anyone personally who have used overseas surrogacy or donor eggs but i know a little bit about indian surrogacy and i know they also do donor eggs, i think the rules have changed recently though, i can point you in the direction of a blog or 2 where im sure the people who write them would be able to help you if you like
-
Saffy - IC OPK's work fine for me, but IC HPT's are crappola. Best of luck for your FET.
Crafty - best of luck with your decision
-
crafty- I know a 48 yo who had donor eggs from USA and got a baby out of it, she tried again at age 50 and got preg with triplets ( god knows how many they put in) but lost them all very early on, not sure if she's trying again. VERY expensive in US, would be cheaper in thailand i imagine.
Thanks for reviews on internet cheapie OPKs everyone
-
Hi Ladies,
Minnie - Good to hear from you sweetie. Big hugs
Saffy- I'm with Mar. Internet OPKs work fine but HPTs are useless. Not sure if I'm allowed to say what site I get mine from (don't want to get in trouble), but they are probably pretty much the same.
Crafty - How perfect, wouldn't that just be completing the circle if you had donor sperm for your first and a donor egg for your last, that seems sort of poetic to me. Good luck with it I hope you can find out heaps about it, let us know.
AFM - Did first insem last night and got positive opk today . We will do tomorrow and probably sunday too to cover our bases. Poor sweetie got stage fright with me in the house so I had to go for a short drive while he "performed" hehehe:lol:. Other than that it went perfectly. Also got offered a new job today, talk about timing! Not sure what to do, it is back to counselling which I love and miss greatly but it is also back to contract so no sick pay, holiday pay etc! Decisions decisions.
-
Hi all fx sunbeam for a bfp saffy hope af gone for the next year minnie nice to see your name back on here.
if anyone's interested Thailand Fertility has excellent options Google and take a look at Cathie Sanchez's interview on the site.
just about to pay $395 for phone consult to make me an official patient and start choosing my donor DH has to have sperm analysis just to make sure they up to scratch lol.
-
Sunbeam love that you had to go for a drive lol goodluck!
Crafty sounds like you are on your way!
Hello everyone else x
Having a sad sorry for myself day after yet another bfn. I was so optimistic that this was the month after a few months off. I can't help feeling blah obviously because I have pmt!!!
-
Joeve- so sorry about your bfn babe, its so depressing, I was like that with pmt last week, take it easy xxx
crafty- wow are you excited or what?? Thats great news, best of luck I hope she can help you. Let us know what she says, its very interesting.
sunbeam- glad DD got over his stage fright ( I don't blame him lol), would you be in TWW yet?? Didn't you just change jobs?? Or was that ages ago?
maruschke- hi again
minnie- glad you are still around, I miss you otherwise!
afm- just feeling so stressed about things, saw my acupuncture lady yesterday and had to break the news to her about my M/C- I had been avoiding telling her, she was shattered for me. Wants me to start some herbs for immune related problems. I'll give it a try. I should be Oing this weekend but my AF is only just finishing now ( usually its 4 or 5 days) I'm CD 7 or 8 now, so not sure if my lining will be good enough. Who knows. My sick cat is really stressing me too, expensive vet bills, decisions about treatments, trying to get him to eat and take tablets. He doesn't like me today either cos he had to go to vet hospital for tests yesterday, I think it traumatised him. I feel like he's disappearing in front of my eyes, its too sad. :crying:
I woke up this morning thinking -I don't know if I'll ever get pregnant again. I just can't see it anymore.
