Hi to all you lovelies,
Thank you so much for all your kind words of support, they definately helped make me feel better over the last few days.
I had a laparoscopy and curette on Friday. I was pretty out of it when FS came to see me afterwards so not quite sure of exactly what was done but recall him saying it wasn't ectopic after all. He later called DH who wrote some of it down, but not all. Apparantely the pain may have been from blood in the tube and he drained a couple of cysts. I suppose I will have to wait for the follow up appt in a week or so to find out exactly what went on. Am feeling OK today and recovering, except a weird thing, under my tongue is bruised and has major blood blisters - must be from the anaethesist, so gross.
Happybaby - I am so glad that your little bean is in the right spot. Fingers crossed for you that he/she is just a late bloomer and will continue to thrive and grow
Loops - Hope all is well, good luck catching your 'o this month
Blossum - I am so sorry. It is so hard not to get bogged down in this whole process. I am going to have to take a few months off as well and FS will be doing some further testing and investigation. My plan is to try and organise outings, visits etc and stick to them over the next couple of months to get my mind off things. I am not working at the moment either so find having so much time on my hands is compounding the issue. I hope you find the information you need to get you closer to your bfp. A big wine glass 'cheers' to you as I'm sure I will crack a bottle open with DH in the next couple of days too. Here's to taking some time out to enjoy the everyday, take good care of yourself
Williever - I hope you are feeling a little better today and that your family do yesterday wasn't too painful. Although people don't realise that a lot of what they say can be upsetting, it is never the less still hard to cope with. Good Luck for your BT today. BTW - I pay $84 per 15 pessaries but have not really shopped around.
JBM - not long now.....
1MorePlz, Saffy, N2L & Kass and all you ladies who sent your well wishes.... Thank you. To have the support and understanding of you BB ladies is invaluable, ESPECIALLY on the really crappy days. ;)

Tantee - Really glad to hear you are up and feeling (physically) better. I am also glad you are making plans to enjoy yourself over the coming few months. I think half of the battle in this caper is having a clear head to deal with all of the ups and downs you have to go through, not to mention the hormone s*it-storm you have to cope with. I really hope your time out is a chance to refresh and invigorate. And, when you're ready, you come back Rocky-style, ready to take on this infertility nightmare with a huge knock out blow! Take care sweetie xx

Thanks N2L. I hope your little embies are snuggling in nicely. How long till BT?

I am assuming you don't want to know in minutes??? (cause I could almost tell you!!) March 23rd....nine agonisingly slow days away!!!!
-
Tantee ~ thanks hun. Glad you are feeling ok, must be a relief that it wasn't ectopic at least. Very nicely put by n2l!! Least you know it can happen and I hope everything clears up nice and quick and you can get back on the horse very soon! :comfort:
n2l ~ :crossfingers: TIGHT FOR YOU. Hope the wait doesn't make you too insane.
AFM ~ I forgot to mention the other day - my DH is so sweet. I was a bit upset about the whole TTC thing the other night and then stayed in Melb for the following night for work. When I got home the following evening, he had candles lit (the house was smelling beautiful), had tea cooked and flowers :inlove: I'm one very lucky woman :)
-
N2L - I had to laugh at your answer, but to the minute is fine  ... all of us in here know just how agonising every minute of waiting is... I so hope that some nice distractions arise to help pass the time.
Loops - aaw, how sweet. They do surprise you sometimes! So glad that you guys are at a good place at the moment and are able to help each other through it all. This rollercoaster tends to take its toll at times on our relationships and its hard to see things clearly, but it is good to know that you can get back to your happy place with each other in spite of it all...
-
Tantee - glad to hear it wasn't ectopic and you're feeling ok. I hope you get to enjoy the next couple of months so you can come back feeling on top of it all
Loops - How nice! Sigh... :)
N2L - Sounds like the tww is dragging! Are you going to test early or hold out for the bt?
JBM - good luck with the jabbing!
Williever - hope your family do was ok. Have you found out when your transfer will be?
Blossom - sorry to hear about your -ve

Hi Lovelies
Well after DH being so wonderful the other day, things have turned to the **** a bit and I'm not in a good place at all. Well not blaming DH or anything of course but probably taking a lot of my stress out on him :(
We are flat broke and having terrible troubles with the Insurance company for his accident, I dont know what my body is doing at the moment, dont appear to have O'd properly yet, have had very light test lines all the time, not the same colour as the control line. * TMI warning. DH and I have now tried B'Ding twice and have given up because we just havent got anywhere - not in the mood. Probably partly to do with his brace which makes life awkward and part to do with the fact that its always about TTC, not just for the enjoyment of it. It's really been upsetting me. It's a horrible thing to say but there is no spark there - I dont feel attracted to DH and I'm starting to feel really bad and depressed. Not sure what to do - perhaps see someone. Sorry everyone for off-loading all of this.
All the best ladies with all of the jabbing and waiting etc, FX'd for you all!
-
 Loops, sorry its all rubbish at the moment xxxxx
If it makes you feel any better I go through periods of not wanting to dtd with Dh ( feeling is probably mutual too lol), we rarely BD now cos of lttc, its a real passion killer. Its not fair is it :comfort:

Oh Loops so sorry you feel so terrible and my heart breaks for you. My advice is to see someone - maybe your GP. Although they may not have been through what you guys are they will offer some help perhaps in the form of medication. I know it may be hard to accept that you have depression but your body and mind are asking for help. I was in the same spot and when the doc said I was depressed I disagreed, even though we were about 4 or 5 years into our journey. But I went home and did some research and realised I had all the signs. I went back and said give me something that will make me feel normal again. The best thing she told me was that we all take medication if we have blood pressure issues, aches pains, disease etc so mental health is the same. I was on and off them for periods over a few of years and cant tell you how much it helped. Infertility affects your mind as much, if not more than your body.
Hang in there

 Loops - I wish I had some advice for you, but please feel free to vent. I can only imagine how stressed you must be feeling
Williever - hopefully Thursday will be the last one :crossfingers:
JBM - I can't believe you've been set back again - you're a much more patient woman than me! Sending you some 'no more interruptions' vibes!
1moreplz - Good work! How did you go royal jelly? I've heard it's a bit unpleasant
Saffy - looks like we'll be doing pick up at about the same time :) I'm starting shots tomorrow
-
Loops - You are not alone. This is our 5th year on our journey and we are trying to get back to recreational bding....DH is clearly more in the need for it. I struggle to get in the mood. I think he gets frustrated with that.
I agree with trea. the mental toll is immense and many things you don't even notice happening. For me, my libido has taken a massive nose dive! I'm quieter then my normal outgoing self, I get angry far more quickly, I don't laugh veryt much....I'm noticing all this in myself. I do think about how to get out of it, but I think that might be what a counsellor can help with. It's too hard to do yourself!
As I am writing this I am sure I should also see someone!
BT tomorrow. Still no ewcm
-
kass ~ hun i am taking 1000mg tablet/capsule form (but damn!! they haven't arrived yet :( so i will start them either tomorrow or friday) can't be 1/2 as bad as the bloody liquid caplets i take (swisse ultivite pregnancy) they make me gag EVERY time!!!!

1mp - take two of them. The recommended dose is 2000mg daily (so I have read)..
Also stop taking from transfer as they are not recommended in pg x
