Happy Australia Day everyone!
Amy I feel for you in this heat! I saw on TV it was 42 for Perth today, hot hot hot! Take it easy and stay cool. I hope your orgalutran jab was OK, mine hurt a bit.
Jane, that's awesome news about your 13 embies! I'm sending them lots of positive energy to grow big and strong. What day will the lab grow them to? What day transfer are you having? I was really shocked to have a day 2, but considering I only had 3 embies, it made sense. GL for your transfer hun :crossfingers:
AFM, the silly me peed on a stick yesterday for a bit of fun (as you do) and there was a faint second line. Of course I googled and it told me it's the trigger shot still in the system. Hahaha, I crack myself up sometimes. Don't feel anything really, boobies still sore but not as much as before, they have come down in size too (thanks Universe). I do find something odd though...when I turn over in bed, I get this pain on the side, very similar to the pain I had when I was pg, they told me it was the muscles relaxing as the uterus was expanding. This morning I turned over quickly and it was so painful! Maybe it's the progesterone playing tricks on my poor wee body ;) Any more surprises?????
Hi to everyone else and I hope you're having a great day :)
-
MissB - on my phone so just a quickie but to answer your earlier question, my trigger always stays in 7 or 8 days.
So sorry your other embies didn't make it :( Hopefully it wont matter!! I have my fingers crossed for you sweetie x
Eta - just had a think and I was still testing positive due to trigger nine days after...
-
I know hun, trusty Dr Google said trigger stays for up to 10 days after the transfer. So it could still be in my system around Tuesday next week. Thanks for crossing your fingers for me hun
I hope you have a lovely day today :)

HAPPY AUSTRALIA DAY EVERYONE!!!!
Jane - What a fab result!!! You must be thrilled! Grow little embies grow!!!
Miss B - Haha you crack me up, I said to DH last night that I was going to do the exact same thing so that I could see what it was like to have 2 lines on a test! Doubt I will though.
AFM - First jab of Orgalutran this morning and it was fine. Tummy was a little tender afterwards though. I had to take DH to the airport this morning at 3am (he is flying back to work :( ) so I went to mum and dads to do the needle in case I chickened out. Dad was standing there watching me saying ohhh ahhh ouch doesnt that hurt - No dad its really relaxing - ofcourse it ******* hurts!!!!
Hahaha he cracks me up! He said oh well at least its done now, I said yeah until tomorrow morning, he said WHAT?! You have to do that everyday - Yes Dad! Hahaha
My tummy is really bloated today, I look like im about 4 months pregnant ggrrr hahaha. I was meant to be going to my best friends this afternoon for Aus Day but I think im just going to stay home. She only has a tiny shaded area in her back yard and its 42 degrees here so I just cant be bothered, and I dont want to explain to everyone why im not having a drink.

Happy Australia Day to you all :-) and a special Happy Birthday to Vic, hope you had a wonderful day and got really spoilt xo
Myturn - how is the wait going for your ultrasound, hope your belly has settled down
Keta - Sorry your body is not playing the game and that you only have one ripe follicle, I completely understand that feeling of disappointment as we just went through it, we were lucky enough to change ours to an iuu and try ivf again next month with more meds.
Missb- Hope you aren't feeling as bloated today, it seems to be one of the aweful side affects of what we are doing, I can't ever seem to feel comfortable at the moment. I am so sorry your other embies weren't suitable to freeze, I am crossing my fingers for you to have the stickyone inside :-)
I had to laugh when i saw your post today as I am just as bad with poas, as mine was only done the other day I still know its to early, next week will be my week of craziness. I hope those little pains are a good sign of something in there growing.
Amy - Yay for your follicles, had to laugh at your dads reaction to the injections you madce my day lol. They just don't get it unless we spell it out haha
Janie - Hi i understand the difficulty in doing persies on mobile as I am the same if i don't log onto computer :-) Good luck with transfer sat
Jane - Oh my gosh that is a great number of eggs and to have 13 fetilised is even better, I hope they all keep up their good work so far, and I hope that OHSS stays away so that you can do a successful transfer. I was reading your post from the other day and I can't speak for anyone else but I think we all realise that some of us will have good news and some are going to have bad news but we should never feel bad for whatever news we are sharing as we are all on the same difficult long road :-) and are always happy to see when things are working for people.
Blossom - excellent news on your epu, hope they are all fertilizing well
Saffy - yay for AF as wierd as that sounds lol. How is jabbing going? Thanks for your persie the other day, it is so hard to do them for everyone, I have been trying everyday but when I get busy it all catches up on me.
Missren - welcome, good luck for your epu tomorrow I hope there are lots there for you. crossfingers
Hi to Liseyt, renvind, , Mia01, Kashby and anyone else I have missed.
Well AFM - I have had a pretty crap couple of days since IUI, been bloated, really crampy yesterday to the point where I rang FS to check I was ok, tried to go to the supermarket and ended up in tears in the car afterwards cause my tummy hurt so much. I can say now it has settled down a lot so it must have just been the meds and everything that was going on in there. When I had IUI on just clomid I never felt like this, I hate that everytime you do something new to your body with meds or procedures you get different reactions and then you start to think it is never going to work or your body will break completely before it does.
I must say I hate the TWW I feel like I have spent the last 2 weeks doing something positive and now there is no injections or doctors appointments that I am back to feeling like I am back on the old unsuccessful roller coaster. I really have to get positive again as this might work, crossfingers.
Well 2.5 days in and another 11.5 to go.....not that I am counting lmao.
Stickyvibes to everyone, babydust,crossfingers xo

Happy Birthday Vic! I hope your day was spent relaxing and enjoying time with friends and family xoxox
Amy, I hope you stayed out of the sun today and ended up having a relaxing day. My belly is swollen too, seems to be more in the afternoons.
Kerbear, big hugs sweetie. I can imagine how frasturating it must be changing things around and feeling like it's just not going to work, but I have everything crossed for you that it will. How bloody slow is the 2WW? Helloooooooooo???!!!!
Hello to all my lovely friends and lots of baby dust and sticky vibes to us all xoxoxoxo
-
Missb the 2ww is soooo slow, the 2weeks of injections goes so quick and this 2weeks is so long. Hope yours is going ok :-)

Hi Lovely Ladies
Just sticking my head in to say hi! I have been reading everyday but have nothing to report as my FS appointment is tomorrow. Hubby had his heart procedure on tuesday and im so pleased to say that finally after 18 months and 3 attempts they think they have fixed it woohoo. Then Dad started his next round of chemo and was told his markers are coming down so some positives this week. Hooray!! Happy Birthday Vic and to all those ladies with embies on board I pray they stick this month. Oh and Jellybean im in Perth to it was such a hot day today we spent it at home too trying to stay cool :(
Love Bee xx
-
Morning lovely ladies,
Bee, so great to hear you've got good news on your hubby and your dad! Woo hoo! I hope your dad's markers continue to come down. GL for your FS app. tomorrow hun.
Kerbear, you're so right, the jabs fly by and then it's like, EPU's here!! Then the wait begins and it seems like forever.....hope your is not too bad.
Amy, I forgot to say your dad is such a crack up!
AFM, well, I am by no means an POAS addict (year right) so with nothing better to do at 5 am this morning, I peed on the stick again (as you do at that time of the morning hehehe) and the test was negative, so the trigger is definitely out of my system! Yay! So now I think I'll wait till Wednesday. I don't know if it's worth making an app. to my FS for around the time my AF would be due (please stay away AF!!!!!!). Just trying to think ahead if the cycle doesn't work, could I possibly go into another stim cycle straight away? Or do they prefer to wait out the next cycle and go again in a month? Any experiences ladies?
Hello to everyone! How is everyone travelling?
B xoxox

Hi Girls hope you all having a great day.. It is miserable weather here in Northern NSW just horrible scared im going to get flooded in and not able to get to the clinic for transfer... My 3 embies are growing nicely for day 2 yesterday so fingers crossed they are doing what they should today! Not sure whether to have transfer on day 4 or day 6 as doctor is away on Sunday and it is also my Bday on Sunday and that would be day 5 so have to do either side??? Feeling very bloated and i am on immune therapy so the steriods are starting to kick in and feeling like i am expanding day by day!!
Amy: 7 follies sounds like a great number exciting hope they continue growing nicely
Saffy: Awesome news getting started again that is such a good feeling all the waiting around sucks
Jane: Great no's hope you feeling better and get some good fertilisation
Miss B: Sorry to hear about your embies, fingers crossed this is the one and it sticks - sending lots of sticky vibes and babydust
VIC261: Happy Bday for yesterday hope you had a great day
Kerbear: Fingers crossed it is such a emotional rollercoaster ride hope you start feeling better.
Big hi to everyone i have missed. Lots of sticky vibes and babydust to you all x
-
Bee- so glad to hear you hubby and dad are doing well I hope they continue to get better xo
Blossom - my fingers are crossed you don't get flooded in, Brisbane is the same here we thought yesterday it was clearing but woke up to solid rain again, heaps of roads around me have been flooded.
Goodluck with your transfer and happy birthday for Sunday.
Well I have a tight tender tummy again today, looks like I cant help DH at all with the new furniture I will just make the new bed once it's up, lucky his mates are coming to help as we have pretty much had to rearrange the house for it lol
Have a good day everyone
-
Just popping in quickly to say I've got about 12 follicles getting ready. :) lady time I only had 8 :)
They are between 9 and 13 mm.
So all is well :)
I had an idea last night that I was going to have 12 follicles = 8 eggs = 5 fertilize ~ that's my guess anyway! Lol
Feeling very tender today and yesterday.
Will hopefully have grown enough by monday for EPU and ET next week sometime
Will come back last for perseries :)
Have a great day everyone.
-
Well done myturn that's great news, hope your tummy settles down a bit for you xo
-
:hello: everyone
myturn - great going with your 12 follicles YAY!
Kerbear - just try to take it easy and let the guys do the work! I hope your tummy feels better soon
Blossom - :crossfingers: where I'm at its also raining and yuk but hopefully it wont interfere with your transfer! I hope you have a wonderful bday on sunday
Miss B - dont worry when it comes to it I'm sure I'm going to be a POAS addict also LOL  :goodluck: ;)
lisey - how'd your bt go?
To all the other ladies hello and I hope you're all doing well and had a fab Australia day
AFM - went to pick up all the meds today synorel and puregon. Although I did IUI about 1 1/2 years ago and had to inject puregon for that I had forgotten how to prepare the pen etc (not like you keep that in your memory for long). Anyways had this nurse today that was in a hurry to go to morning tea, yes she actually said this to me! Firstly she told me to stop the pill as of tomorrow, ummm lucky I double checked cos I dont start synorel until Tuesday so I was like that cant be right, and it wasnt! The paperwork she had said "stop the pill one day after starting the synorel". I told her I had done puregon before but needed a "refresh" on how to prep the whole pen. She did it in 2 secs flat without showing me the needle part! HELLO! So she packed everything in the cooler and said "so thats that" like saying "ok bye!" but I told her to show me the needle part. Stuff that! HELLO I'm paying good money and need to know how these things work properly not told everything in 5mins and expected to leave just cos you are hungry or/and need a coffee!! She showed me and I left. I dont think it reflects on the rest of the nurses and ppl I've dealt with there it was just a one off cos everyone else I have seen thus far have been awesome but this one was a bit too eager to get me over and done with. On to waiting to start Synorel now! YAY hahahaha
-
Mia I am so sorry you had that experience it would have been so frustrating especially when this is something we can't get wrong, lucky you had a feeling she was wrong if it was your first time you wouldn't have known any better.
Good luck with your jabbing I am sure it will come back to you :-)
