morning lovely ladies,
Kaybee- what a shame about the bfn and now you have a hard decision to make- I understand where you are coming from though, not wanting to "waste your time" ( for want of a better phrase) if the remaining embies have a low chance of success, its so hard to know what to do. Have you discussed it with your FS? Maybe get his/her opinion, although no doubt they will leave it up to you to decide  to you hun xx
Kass- good luck for the BT!!!
Alice- hey don't worry I will come and be your chaperone if you want in England!! I love it there- my DH is a pom and we always said if his job stuffs up here we can go and live there for a few years, shame about the weather though lol. Don't be too nervous, the culture is very similar to australia in many ways, and it will be quite cheap if the aussie $ stays good! They have to BEST clothes shops in the UK- cheap too.
oneday- hope the jabs are going well, has AF come yet?
yogibear- welcome back, /nice to meet you, hope we can all go ove to the preg threads together! And soon!
Hi everyone else :grouphug:
AFM- good news, just found out we have had 1 embie frozen- didn't have my hopes up cos we only had 3 left and they were slow so at least one has pulled its finger out
Was awake last night at 4am with cramps- hope it means something positive!

Morning lovely ladies
Kaybee ~ really feeling for you hun, I know how tuff it is and you think is this ever going to happen but we just keep plugging away at it and eventually we will get there! You've had a BFP a couple of times so you know you can get PG and eventually you will get one to stick. We both will. Keep tryin and Goodluck hun, hope you have another go soon!
Saffy ~ Excellent news - excited for you and :crossfingers: tight! Hope the little one(s) inside are snuggling in and getting nice and cosy. Sorry couldnt remember if you had 1 or 2 put back.
AFM ~ Just coming out of O'ing now I think, got a fair bit of B'ding in so hopefully we get a miracle and catch that egg ;) I know its a long shot but I guess we just have to not give up hope - it's impossible to fully give up I think.
Hi to all and keep trying ladies - we will all get a child one way or another!! :grouphug:
-
You are absolutely right Loops, it is impossible to completely give up, I still find myself thinking about it even though I have one tube (blocked...and a stuck-down ovary on the opposite side) there is always a little voice that wonders. We can only hope! Good luck this month x
Saffy congratulations on your frostie!!!@ :leap: Hope you won't be needing it for a while though :) That's great news and a little bit of cramping sounds good too. Fingers crossed.
Kaybee, that is such a hard call to make. What did the FS say? Mine used to say 'you could have your whole family in the freezer' (turns out he was wrong!) I guess it depends on how old you are and how much time you have to try. I might be inclined, given my age, to go another STIM.
Kass, any news? Hoping no news is good news. Thinking of you x
Hi to everyone - oneday, HappyBaby, Frugal, Ehm, TrueBlue, and anyone else I missed. Hope you are all doing OK.
-
Hey ladies just did jab number 3!! lol. Saffy dont have proper period yet! still spotting (since sat) the spotting was darker today (not really light like every other day) sorry for too much info! so im hoping that means AF is only a day or so away? i only stopeed taking pill yesterday morn so prob takes a few days for the body to register that its AF time lol.
I hope everyone is doing well. xxxxxx
-
Hi,
A very quick one from me, sorry. I am going the whole hog and doing a full stim cycle - an antagonist (whatever that means - I've seen it in here a bit). AF should be here today or tomorrow so start jabbing sat or sun. This is happening very quickly but it's the only way I can deal with this millionth bfn. More next time - we are heading up the coast for a few days, ahhhh
Hope you're all well ladies
-
Hi everyone
My levels aren't high enough:shakehead:
-
Kass - Am really sorry to hear your news hun. Hope you are okay. I was so hoping this was the one.
Nicoleh - Big hug for you too! Hope you are feeling better. Take it easy and be good to yourself.
Kaybee - Good luck for your next cycle. My last two have been antagonist, which I prefer to the down reg cycle, and they are much quicker.
Oneday - I hope this cycle goes well for you. Starting the injections is always a good milestone, as things move quite quickly from there!
Saffy - How are you going? Congrats on the frozen embie! Sending you lots of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy:
Alice - Thanks for your support (and I have been drinking loads of water). Congrats on your scholarship, that sounds really exciting.
Loops - Glad to hear you are doing well and FX'd for your miracle!
Yogi Bear - Hi, and good luck for your next cycle.
Hi to anyone else I have missed!
AFM: Have been laying low and keeping busy at work to distract myself from the waiting. My EPU is 8am tomorrow, and am hoping for better results than last time. We used a different trigger injection to hopefully get more mature eggs (6 / 11 were immature last time).
-
Kass i am so sorry! It is the worst feeling ever and there are no words to make you feel better but i hope that you are doing the best you can at this horrible time. Your one step closer, as my FS said its now just a matter of finding that right embryo! Be kind to your self and i found distractions were the best thing for me xxxxxx
Ehm, goodluck for today and i hope you get some really nice eggs xxxxx
AFM i think my proper AF might be coming today?? hopefully! Im so excited, im putting up the christmas tree tomorrow!! im such a kid at heart, my DH says its too early but i dont care i want to do it so i am lol.
-
kass- oh kass what a disappointment, major  to you, I'm sorry it hasn't worked. xx try and stay positive, as oneday says you are one step closer.
ehm- FX for you epu today, hope you get good mature eggys x
oneday- yay for af, hope its your last one for a long time. I am trying to stop myself putting our xmas tree up until the 1st Dec, bought a wreath the other day so i'll decorate that next week! I love getting into christmas too!
Kaybee- I did an antagonist cycle, it was great, more jabs but I got a good haul out of it. Hope it is the one for you.
Alice-I always hear stories about people getting pregnant against the odds, so there is definately the chance of a miracle at any time. I read in a magazine the other day of a couple who had twins from IVF even though they only implanted one embryo- they thought it must have split but they were a boy and a girl- they don't even know which one was the ivf embie and which was the gatecrasher :D
AFM- have had a splitting headache overnight and this morning but have to do chores and go to work so will just have to put up with it- small amounts of cramping here and there but nothing much else to report xx
-
Kass, I'm so sorry lovely  I was feeling so hopeful for you, it's just crushing for you. I wish I could say something that would help, just be kind to yourself and take time to grieve. I hope you have lots of love and support from your DH and family and friends to help you through this time. It is one step closer, not that it is much consolation at the moment, but hopefully it means that next time you'll get your BFP. Take care xx
Saffy, that's a great story - LOL at the 'gatecrasher'. Sorry your head hurts :( hope it goes away. Keeping everything crossed for you. x
Ehm, good luck today, hope you get some good juicy little eggs there. Let us know how you go x
Kaybee, good luck with the new cycle, hope it's the one for x
Oneday, yah for the injections, fingers crossed, sounds like you're doing just fine - AF will be here before you know it then it's all systems go! Good luck x
Hi to everyone, Nicoleh sorry I missed you yesterday, how're you doing? x
-
ehm - how did you go with epu? Got a nice batch I hope
saffy - how is your tww going? It drives you mad doesn't it!! Be good and I would not poas till at least 10dpt
oneday - the christmas decs are up everywhere else so why not, have fun
kass - my heart goes out to you & nothing anyone says can make it better (I am still waiting to feel better about mine) although no consolation like everyone says it means you are that much closer GIANT HUGS
kaybee - thats great you were able to do another one so quick, my last was atagonist and eveything (except the outcome) went so much better for me that cycle - I was on puregon & orgalutran shots (no nasty synarel) good luck with everything (pm if I can be of anymore help with atagonist info)
Hi Alice & Loops and anyone else I have missed
afm - went back to the GP on Wed and they are now treating me for pneumonia, thought I was handling everything ok until I walked out of Dr office into the waiting room and it was filled with mothers & babies (like an idiot I burst into tears). Besides that coping not too bad, I have an appointment with my psych next week so she will be good to have a chat with about everything and then see fs next Wednesday. Just have to get over this as I am desperate to go again in Dec.
-
Hi Lovely Ladies. Just dropping in quickly to say the EPU went well, and we got 9 eggs. Am waiting anxiously for the results tomorrow and am so hoping they are better than last time. Heading back to the couch now.....
-
Thanks Saffy :) i too am hoping its my last AF for a long time too. I hope your headache has passed and i hope your cramps are implantation xxx
Thanks too Alice, its feels great to have everything starting again!
Very true nicole, i put it up this time last yr so what the hay xx
Ehm, congrats thats a great result i have everything crossed for you that you get good success with them xx
Ok so im pretty sure AF is here? sorry for TMI but the bleeding has increased to everytime i wipe going to the toilet paper there is dark red blood but its prob not as heavy as my period would usually be on the first day? but then i have been spotting for a week and the pill has kinda put my body all over the place! I was going to ring the nurse to say im on day 1 but i know they like day 1 to be a proper flow so i will call on monday so i can see how it goes over the w/e! Iv had really bad back pain all day too.
I hope everyone is doing well xxxxx
-
oneday - don't know if its any help but the af I have after stopping the pill is never like a normal af, its more like really heavy spotting and there is only really blood when I go to the loo & wipe etc... not much need for products if you know what I mean!! My clinic has always had me start and I am glad cos each time it was af.
-
Hi everyone, thanks for the hugs, I'm a bit miserable at the moment, but I'm also really glad that it stuck for a little while. After my first 6 bfns I was really doubting it could ever work for me. At least this has given me a bit of hope for next time. Still a bit teary though.
Oneday - I've had a couple of times when I've been unsure if it's day one or not too - If it's been a few days of spotting it's probably a good idea to let them know - they might get you to have an earlier blood test just to be on the safe side
ehm - that's great! Hope they do really well overnight!
Nicole - I hope you're getting heaps of rest and this sickness goes away asap - sending some healthy vibes your way!
Alice - thank you - it means a lot
Saffy - I read a similar article a while back, amazing that it could happen!
Kaybee - hope your jabbing goes well tomorrow
How are you loops?
Sorry if I've missed anyone - hope you all have a great weekend
-
HI laides, Thanks nicole that helps to know although im so confused this just isnt like my body!!! yeaterday i was sure AF was coming (heavier/dark red) but over night nothing! even when i went to the toilet and then again this morning more blood but just no constant flow and no need for pads etc. Im just worried as they need to know day 1 of my period, well how do i know that when iv been spotting and nothing is constant? And i thiought that we need to have a proper bleed before starting gonal- f or purgeon? Sorry everything just stresses me, can anyone help? not sure if i should contact the nurses and ask or just wait till mon?
-
Oneday- I hope this doesn't confuse you more but my clinic just says that you might get either a period, spotting or nothing after finishing the pill and they dont care either way.( although they also allocate a Day 1 to me cos they do monthly cycles and get everyone in sync) so I don't know that you are expected to get a normal period, they will tell you anyway if you ring them- I'm sure its not the first time its happened to anyone! Good luck!
-
Not great news this morning. None of the eggs fertilised. Not sure what is going on as we've never had this problem. We are both devastated. We need to take some time out and try again in the New Year. Am having a BIG glass of wine tonight!
