AFM, still no O and on CD18.... OPK isn't even giving me a faint line (I was getting faint lines up till 2 days ago), so if it happened this month maybe I missed it!

Hi everyone! Well just wanted to share something with you... My 6 year old niece said to me today "you and Uncle Aiden are married, sleep together but you don't have a baby, why not?" She said this in front of my mum, I just joked that we have our dog Spud and he is my furbaby! So embarrassing!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right place, but I'm hoping that you guys might know something about pregnyl 1500ui leaut. phase support? I am doing IUI, o'd on 18th/19th dec, and 1500 pregnyl shots on 23rd and 26th. How long is it likely to stick in your system?

I only ask becasue I'm a POAS addict and I got a second line today 4 days post last 1500 shot. I can find definate info about the 2500iu shot (5-7 days), but not sure about the smaller one.

I'm using Pregnyl 1500 to support luteal phase too. I had a false positive when I tested too early last month and recommend waiting 6 or 7 days after the last HCG shot. It's enough to drive you completely mad of course, but I really think that testing before the 6 day mark is pointless.

Thanks LMM. I sort of thought I was clutching at straws, and getting my hopes up for maybe nothing! When did your pg symptoms go away after the shot? I've got the whole hog, which I wouldn't mind if I am actually pg!

Hey Bec,

It's probably a little harder for me to gauge as I have never been pregnant before, but I think I had a feeling by about 5 days after the second shot that AF was on the way. It may not matter for you now (fingers crossed!!!) but did you know there is some shortage of Pregnyl 1500 at the moment? I have one shot left which I am hoping to use later in the week... but NO chemists or hospitals in Sydney or in my regional area can get any from their distributors at the moment for some reason!! I may have to manage with one shot this month...

I hope you're UTD :) let us know how you go.

I had to get the 5000 shots from Melbourne IVF and just use .3ml. How frustrating is it?! I nearly cried after the 3rd chemist said they couldn't get it!

I have really sore BB's, sort of heaviness in my stomoach and I'm so tired it's not funny. I'm also overly senstive to smells and have on again off again nausea. I'm hoping it's not just the pregnyl (it's been the whole TWW!) but I'm telling myself that's ALL it is. Isn't it funny how we try to protect ourselves?

Anyway, thanks so much for the info. Maybe if you ring your FS and tell them about the pregnyl they could 'hook you up' with some? GL for your cycle!

Hi Bec - I think it can vary from person to person on how they metabolise the pregnyl. From my experience the 1500 pregnyl is mostly gone after 3-4 days (shows up as just a very slight weak line on HPT) Best thing is to maybe wait 2 days and do another HPT to see if its getting darker or lighter. I've been pregnant 4 times before (but m/c all) and for those postivie results I had a definite 2nd line from 12 DPO. Your symptoms sound very promising...:crossfingers:

As i said, i've always had a definite 2nd line from 12 DPO...and its been a positive results...so I did a HPT yesterday at 12 DPO and.....i'm a bit wary about saying this in case i jinx it....but I got a clear strong 2nd line!!! BT is tomorrow. Not getting excited as i've now been here 5 times before and its always ended in tears...i will just keep praying that EVENTUALLY our luck may change?

Bec, I know.... I got tears in my eyes at the chemist about the Pregnyl too. I had ordered it in advance thinking that they would have more luck supplying it in Sydney (I live in regional NSW) and they had said on the phone they would have it when I got there!! They felt so bad that they didn't charge me for the other things I was buying. My FS is closed until January 10th, so no hope there either. Do you think I should do the one shot I have on 6DPO?? Taking one has to be better than nothing, just not 100% which day would be better.
Your symptoms sound excellent... I didn't have all of those signs when I used the Pregnyl and ended up with a BFN... crossing fingers for you!
I finally got a +OPK this morning (CD21) so there may be some hope left this cycle :)

I'm still "feeling" pregnant at this stage...mild dull cramping sensation, like a "presence" in my womb same as the other times. Just pray that it continues as it should for the next 8 mths!!!

Nicole, I came on to reply to your previous post but didn't realise you had edited it. Then i read your blog...are you ok? Are you on progesterone support? Maybe they could up the dose if you are or start you on them asap? Its such a scary time, my heart goes out to you as i know that sinking sickening feeling in the pit of your stomach. Just try to stay calm and pray that your little embie is hangin in there.

The Dr had me do another Bt this morning and just called to say hcg has dropped by half so I am miscarrying

I am totally devestated and have no idea how to cope with this

Just an update from me...although i'm very wary about saying this. Was another positive on friday. This is now my 5th official pregnancy and so far have all ended in tears so i am not excited at all just yet (sad i know) Levels looking good hCG 225 & prog 223, have another bt tomorrow. I am trying to stay calm this time (still hard though!)...i feel that i have done absolutely EVERYTHING i possibly can this time so if this little embryo wants to hang around then its now entirely up to him/her....what will be will be! After everything i have been through if this is THE ONE...then it will truly be a miracle! :pray:

Keep the faith ladies...you just never know what is just around the corner! :grouphug:

AFM ~ As you'll see by my ticker I think I've just O'd but for the last couple of days Ive had cramping. Im hoping its PG cramping - implantation but it could also be still O'ing cramps I guess. Ive also felt very full in my lower tum last few days and had bit of reflux. Trying not to get hopes up but yet again its very hard.

Hi ladies im back from holidays :) we had such a great time with family and friends but it all goes too quickly and i dont want to go back to work :( any who congrats to the girls who got BFP's and my thoughts are with you ladies that got BFN's! I hope you all had a lovely christmas and new yr!

AF is due this sunday but im not holding my breath to get in this cycle as there will be so many people on the waiting list from before christmas but the positive is i will only miss out this month if that is the case. DH and I have decided we arn't telling anyone about this cycle apart from our bestfriends, as each cycle goes on it just gets harder and harder to tell everyone when it fails, its hard enough coping with the bad news and then when you have to ring everyone it just rubs salt into the wound. I really hope 2011 is the year for all of us ladies desparetly waiting for our BFP's! xxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you so much ladies for your well-wishes...means a lot :grouphug: I had another bt today (now 18DPO) and hCG has shot up to over 2000 so all still looking good...at this stage anyway. I know i wont be able to enjoy this properly until we get through the first trimester, if we make it that far! Have decided not to have anymore blood tests now & just wait for the 7 wk scan...i said to DH that, regardless of the outcome of this pregnancy, it could be the last time we are pg so we might as well try to relax and enjoy it as best we can and not agonise and stress over hormone levels...cant do anything about the outcome anyway!!

I'll let you know how i go with the scan in over 2 weeks time.
I'll be keeping a close eye on you all here and praying that all of us get our sticky bfp's in 2011 :goodluck:

AFM im having a bit of a downer again today :( i found out number 6 is pg at work now! i feel like every single person that can possibly get pg is going to be pg before me, i know i know like 15 ppl that are pg! i know they say that when you want it you notice so many other ppl are pg but i swear since iv been trying EVERYONE is getting pg it feels like every month someone else i know is pg. I wish things could be easy like it seems to be for everyone i know. I hope you ladies are doing better then i am xxxx

I dropped in last week and now it looks like I'm off. My pregnyl +hpt ended up being a bfp! I really hope you all get your good news soon. It's been a long journey for me too. But this time my levels look good, 227 at 16DPO so I'm hoping that will putme in good stread this time.

AFM ~ still got tight tum, have had headaches and bit of lightheadedness but still perhaps Im just too hopeful. I did a test yestie and it was BFN but was probably a bit early as I'm only CD27 today and my cycles are 34days. Might test again tomorrow morn.

WOW it is so quiet in here! Hopefully that is because everyone is out enjoying themselves and relaxing - no stress!

AFM, I am 8DPO and have had some funny signs which I thought could be early pg signs.... but today I have been really cranky (like PMS cranky) and I am not feeling sure anymore. If I had been asked yesterday I would have been pretty adamant I was UTD! I only had one Pregnyl shot, fingers crossed. The good thing about this month is that if I get a BFN we are booked in to see FS three days later anyway... when DP will have some more tests and I'm hoping she might give me Clomid.

Goodluck loops and littlemissmountain i hope this is the month for you both. I wish i had the strength to try naturally and have some hope that it might happen but i just feel it would never happen for us because DH's problem is so bad but maybe im wrong? To be honest iv lost a lot of hope all together for it ever happening for us but i am feeling alot better the past few days, i didnt even cry when i went home after number 6 at work officialy announcing she was preg to me, im very proud of my self (with all other 5 i went home and bawled). I think im starting to get used to everyone falling preg before me. Only 2 more days till AF is due to see if i get into westmead again, got a feeling she will be a bit late? will keep you posted.

Hoping you ladies dont mind me jumping in here.... Dh and I have been TTC for a while now ...mine's a long story but needless to say IVf is planned for 2011. Fx 2011 is our year :pray:

Hi there girls . . . it's been a while since I popped onto these threads but there are still a few familiar names out there (hiya Loops, FX you got a lovely BFP this weekend). DH and I are at the pill stage of round 4 but this time, we are adding the Colorado protocol into the mix and hopefully, we might have a bit more success. Hopefully.

Looking forward to getting to know you all a bit better and may 2011 be the year of LTTTC BFP's!!!
