Sorry about the announcement. I tend to try to ignore them! I bought a cute gift for my 1 year old niece = tears. But after a while I just ignore that too.

BIL has a habit of breaking up with women but continuing to sleep with them. No real idea yet whether they plan on staying together now they are gunna have kids. They are up north in the cyclone too, hope they are both OK.
Marushke, about your BIL, oh it's like a punch in the face isn't it. I just hid 2 friends on facebook who gave pregnancy announcements.

CD8 today, starting to lose hope. This is my 4th cycle with clomid. Clomid has been working since the first cycle, but no luck yet! I feel like my life is stuck in limbo. I got myself a crappy job last month as I left my other job before christmas, in the hope I wouldn't have to be there too long (IYKWIM). Now I don't know what to do with myself, I'm just waiting and waiting for something to happen! Should I work hard to start a professional career and be happy only to have it end if i do get a BFP? The industry i am studying for is very hard to get in to so I wanted to wait until after we have a baby and I'm ready to go back to work. AARRRGH, I feel so lost and unsure! HURRY UP and work stupid body!
Sorry for the downer vent, but nobody else understands.

Maruschke- Im sorry hun :cry: I just wanted to say i also had a really short LP on my second cycle of clomid and even my OB was like :wtf: Then I fell pg on the third cycle so i don't know what happened there.....it was just weird. My OB was going to up my dosage for month four to 100mg but i didn't end up needing it.

afm: i am finally ovulating this afternoon, oh my gosh i am in awful pain from it, it has only been like it the past 2 months, ouch ouch !

Thanks for letting me have a 'woe is me' day. I am feeling much better today. Saw the FS and he is happy for me to go unmonitored for a few months, and if that doesn't work we are skipping IUI and going to IVF.
Best of luck to everyone in the TWW, I'm still hoping that we see 2 x BFP's on Saturday :D.

Hope you are all going well.. And none of you are affected by this cyclone in Nth QLD.
So I went to have a BT today to make sure that I actually ovulated.
My estrogen was 712 and my progesterone is 40.2, so Im not going to test this weekend.. Im just going to wait til my BT on Monday morning.
Looks like you O'd Mollie! Hope you caught the egg :D.
Well the FS gave me a trigger to take overseas, so looks like this will be our last clomid/trigger/tsi cycle :). We would conceive in Las Vegas if it works and bub has a chance to be born 11/11/11.
Ohh exciting!!! 11/11/11.. I wondering how many babies will be born then.. :think: Best of luck with the final cycle M.. I hope the holiday and some relaxing is all you need to get a BFP...
The whole blood tests throughout the whole cycle has been really good, its been able to show me exactly when ovulation was.. Which was Australia day :D . and now FS is really pleased with my levels today.. So back again on Monday..
I'm glad the bts have been good for you Mollie. It is great to know more about your body and I think this has really helped you through a month that once filled you with dread......You've done a great job. You should be proud of how you've handled everything xxx

so like always, Im confused lol

Gosh, it is very quiet in here. Could i be right in saying that everybody is just feeling a bit down this cycle???
I know I am. My best friend is due on Monday. I am happy for her, but it also breaks my heart. We got engaged and married at the same time, but sadly no baby at the same time.
CD 16 today, we only BD once so far. Should ovulate Saturday, probably BD Friday night. I seriously can't be stuffed anymore! I think the next couple of cycles will be very laid back :)
tasha: i think you are right, well i have been down the past few days so that applies to me, after waiting 24 days to ovulate i got to 5dpo and my bbs got sore so i knew it was over and today (9dpo) af arrived, i can't believe my luteal phase is so short, it is so frustrating
so im going to start my increased dose of clomid, will be taking 100mg this time, my question is days to take it, my specialist says 4-8 but i have done that the last 3 cycles and have ovulated days 22,23,24, will starting any earlier and on the bigger dose change that ? whats everyone's experience ?
Minniemouse, sorry to hear about AF. Dont worry I am the same :( If you take clomid days2-6 you will probably ovulate a couple of days earlier, but I don't think it really matters as long as you O. I'm not too sure about your LP, but I know there are things to help make it longer. I ovulate 12 days after my last tablet (cd18) and my LP is 14 days.
But I am supposed to be ovulating today and I have absolutely NO symptoms what so ever. I am usually in pain and definitely notice I am ovulating. Now I'm worried I'm not ovulating this cycle for some reason! Has anyone else experienced this???
Also my friend had a baby girl this morning. We are visiting her in an hour. I have so many mixed emotions....

My fertility monitor said i was at peak yesterday so should be ovulating today but i have no CM at all today.
How is everyone else going? Getting sick of all this ttc??? Coz iknow i am and DH is too!

minniemouse, the baby is perfect, she's beautiful. 4 hour labour and no stitches! I had a few tiny tiny pains today but that's it, it doesn't look promising.
M2OSB, can you still get a day21 BT to confirm that you ovulated? Yes I am really sick of ttc. All it has caused is fighting and heartache. Dh and I have hardly BD because all we have done is fight and all he has done is drink :( No O signs either so I don't know whats going on there.
We really do need something to lift our spirits! but I don't think there's many left in here anymore.

i started my increased clomid last night, have to take next dose soon, im so tired though, tired of ttc, finding it hard to get the motivation to bd when im getting af 5 days early anyway so even if anything was happening it doesn't stand a chance, just seems pointless trying really :-(
Im still here 50mg 2 more doses to go...

Tasha, i have had months like these where seriously there was no love at all in the so called "love making" it was horrible.
At times it felt like i was grovelling and having to hold my tongue when DH was arguing because i knew i was Ovulating and didnt want to miss the chance.
After refocusing and thinking to myself, this is no way to make a baby, I decided to cheer up a little and make love instead of forcing it.
Hope you will find some light and enjoy it (although i dont always do LOL) and get a BFP soon!

Things have been happening so fast that I forgot to say I have moved over to the ivf thread. We have started injections and things are going well. BT's and scans are keeping me busy. DH is doing all the jabs :o

Minnie - Do you have BT's and scans or are you unmonitored?
unmonitored, i wish i had blood tests and scans ! im going to another clinic for another opinion next month and i know they do numerous blood tests and at least one scan
my last cycle.. which was my first clomid cycle.. i had a BT cd 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 24(too see if i have O'd). plus 2 internal scans to check the size of the follie.. ding ding round two is just about to start!!
I think I would prefer that (although I have never had it), my specialist doesn't even want me to do a day 21 progesterone level because I have had levels before which showed I'm ovulating on 50mg so I guess it stands to reason I will on double the dose !
jeez. the amount of blood tests kind of made me feel ehh to start with but then i kind of got why it was been done.. i just wish the first round had worked!

Minimouse that is like my fs. She only did one bt the first time I was on it to check my progesterone and since I reacted well to clomid, she never requested anymore. Only did anoth bt to chec my glucose levels and thats it. Waste of money seeing her I reckon
