afm - I have another BT on Tuesday morning. I am kinda of in limbo. I dont know where I should be.. Maybe I will go back into hiding :) Oh and I feel so bad.. I got my dog desexed today, and she is very cranky at me :(

MMouse - only on 50mg and it thankfully seems to be working i started on that dose when i was away with my mum on holiday to see if it does work had my BT on CD 21 and it confirmed i O'ed and that YAY got AF right on CD 28 in full flow with just a tiny bit of spotting the night before … so quietly pleased… not long for you now XOXO

Tash Thank you - but i am one of the lucky ones i had a test run of clomid last cycle although i was away on holiday and DH could not come with me… and it did not affect me what so ever …funny ha how we get excited about the things we shouldn't … me it was to get AF on CD28 and you to see a BFN LOL well i hope our tables turn soon !

AFM - waiting waiting waiting… boring, i will get my CD 3 BT results on monday though but he told me he only ordered that one as i am a new client and it will give him a better idea so i am not even sure what he is looking for … other than that 2 more days of clomid and then waiting till CD 10 … and then off we go … getting down to business - "Doctors orders" LOL how romantic…. hope my baby will never ask how/where baby's come from as i will have a hard time sticking to the bee and flower …it only takes once stories :ROFL:

just popping in to say af arrived today for me :crying:, 11 dpo (started spotting yesterday), im quite down about it, its not even the trying part that upsets me, i don't expect it to happen straight away, its just that my cycle has ended too soon every time and im just not getting the chance for anything to implant so im really not in with a chance at all, its really getting me down today

:hug: Minnie, what has your FS said about short LP's? Have they recommended anything? I have heard of natural remedies that have fixed up short LP, never tried any myself, but i guess i would consider it if need be.
I would definitely be pushing your FS for some solutions.

AFM; CD 8 today. i started clomid late on CD3 instead of CD2 will that make me O later cause i usually O either day 12 or 13 but not sure cause i have never done clomid on CD3 before hoping i will O this weekend. hope everyone is good sending you all lots of :bluedust:

MM- :hug: So sorry AF arrived sweetheart. FWIW, my second cycle i had the exact same thing hun. I started full on bleeding at 10dpo...but at 11pm, so it wasn't counted as CD1. My FS was confused too...clomid is sposed to fix that! I got my BFP the nxt month though, so here's to hoping for next month hun xoxox p.s. what was your progesterone levels?

thanks everyone: the last 4 clomid cycles i have done have ended 9 or 10 dpo and i have repeatedly asked my fs for progesterone pessaries but he won't give it to me because he believes in "supporting" the pregnancy once he sees a heartbeat, i can't even get close to that point, it is so upsetting to me that he can just say no and thats that. i am seeing another specialist next monday and i know that clinic give progesterone from ovulation, im hoping that makes a difference.

yas: my progesterone was 19 so it confirmed i ovulated but it wasn't really high enough to support any possible pregnancy *sigh*

i ordered some progesterone cream last cycle, intending on using it for the cycle that just finished to increase my progesterone (it is meant for menopausal women), anyway they told me they posted it two weeks ago so should have arrived in time a few days later, it didn't and i was so disappointed, can you believe it turned up today the day af did, talk about kicking me when im down, sorry girls i'll take my sad self away......

MM- I have progesterone support during this pg, BUT my OB ordered me to have progesterone support AFTER ovulation. And i would ask for an upped dose of clomid, that level isn't high enough hun, thats what my FS was going to do if i hadn't fallen pg by 3rd cycle. Huge :hug: xoxoxo

thanks yas, i was on a higher dose of clomid for this cycle, my progesterone for the last 3 rounds of clomid have been 29, 14 (50mg clomid) and this time 19 (100mg), thanks for your advice

MM - so sorry about AF arriving, i know what you mean erg a too short cycle, that was exactly my challenge too since you are already taking clomid and increased it and it has not quite done the trick …have you ever considered acupuncture ? it works wonders just a shame that it is on the $ side of things…but maybe you have a health insurance where you may be bale to claim it back ? thinking of you.

MSOSB - hope the egg is coming along soon so you can get down to business…and you know what if you would have decided to go with the drugs this smooth - you would be equally wondering if you should't have LOL its the beauty of the guessing game of TTC right ?

AFM: went to the gym last night to work up a real sweat as it seems the hot flushes are a bit of a side effect from my clomid after all... but i have already taken my last tablet last night so its all good.
well CD 8 for me today, i have a huge day at work and hope to still have the energy to seduce DH tonight as i will be trying really hard to do the recommended every 2nd day thing from now till CD 18 ...

Hi Everyone :)I have decided to join.. Been TTC on and off since 6 months after I lost the twins..So almost 2 yrs, before the twins it took me 3yrs to concieve, but they were a natural miracle.. Although I'm only 30 this year, I want to have children so much and really wanted to have a plan in place, so I went to see an OB/GYN and she said I don't O every month and when I do the eggs are 'bad quality' or 'not mature enough' so she put me straight on clomid. This is my 1st cycle of clomid 50mg.. I'm on CD 16.. Fertlity Friend predicted my O on CD 11 but all opk's have been negative. I had a temp dip this morning below the coverline, so maybe today is actually O day.. Still no positive OPK though.. Anyway, I am having a BT on day 21 so she can see if I have ovulated.. :pray: this works for me! :bluedust::pink-babydust: for all!!!

Gecko- :hug: babe, I hope you catch that eggie. I always panicked that every second day wasn't enough lol. I used to start on day 8,then 10, then 12, 13,14,15,16 lol. And it worked, i o'd on CD 16 so :dunno:

Yas: yay for 12 weeks, you must be breathing a sigh of relief, i can't remember have you had a scan recently ? i hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly and quick ! im seeing the new specialist next monday, after picking myself off and dusting myself off after the last cycle im feeling more positive about it, i think my biggest problem is the low progesterone, i have been pregnant 5 times in the past 5 years so thats not my problem, its just keeping them going

afm: starting clomid again tonight, it will almost a relief for next cycle to get onto injections and closer monitoring with the new clinic !

Yay, I got a positive OPK today, I thought I might when my temp dipped this morning :) No baby making tonight though, I don't see DP til tomorrow night, we will have to make up for it lol..

Welcome blessedatlast, hope clomid is a success for you. I usually O around CD18 on clomid, yay for a positive OPK!

M2OSB, Have hope! Last cycle i O'd on CD21 when it has been CD18 EVERY time before that. Maybe wait and if AF doesn't show call your FS and get them to leave a script for provera at the front desk or something? That way you don't have to wait and pay!

Gecko, I would keep BD after CD18, you never know when O will happen. Do you have O pain on clomid? Mine was terrible...

Minnie, I have one more month of clomid and then maybe injectables. Just going on the stages I see others go through. Good luck this cycle, could be lucky last for both of us!

AFM, Not sure if the opk's are working. Ones positive, ones negative, It's all over the shop! Oh well, just have to go by the trusty pains. CD 15 today, should ovulate on Sunday.

Luckily I already have a script for provera from last visit.

I am thinking of changing my FS, ie one that actually would send me to scans and stuff instead of just look at me for 5 mins and prescribe clomid, provera, and diabex!

Although that question wasn't directed at me, I thought I would answer because I think I do too! I had shocking pain in my right side this morning and I was wondering if thats what it was.. I'm also quite bloated.. Don't feel great today, thats for sure! Anyone else get bad O pain?

i get terrible ovulation pain, can have me doubled over, i can't walk straight and that goes on for hours, then im often tender the next day from it, ouch !

Hmm.. Oh well, at least I'm ovulating lol.. I feel like I have the beginning of a bladder infection too.. I hope I don't!!

Just wanted to let you girls know that i will be crawling under a rock for a while... i did get my CD 3 BT results which pretty much crushed me...so i have to take some time out so i can figure out what it all means.

sorry for being so short but i am not in a real good headspace at the moment, i promise i will be back, well i hope so anyways unless IVF is not even an option for me...but i will let you know either way.

Tasha - His good thanks it took 2 weeks though for him to get better but thank goodness he is now better. I also have problems with opk's last month was all over the place for me with opk's. I done an opk this afternoon and it was neg which just never happens i always O around day 12-13 and its day 12 today but i did for the first time ever take clomid a day late on day 3 instead of day 2 so i'm assuming i will hopefully be O'ing on sunday as well. `GOOD LUCK CATCHING THE EGG THIS WEEKEND. :crossfingers:

That's good news, but not about the OPK's. I have the same problem, I tested positive tuesday and thursday and negative today. And I am due to O on Sunday! Even though they were positive I know I wasn't ovulating. So frustrating! Good luck!

I still lurk on this thread to see how you are all going!! I just thought I should mention about the OPKs and ovulation, there is a good chance the tests are right. Ovulation days changed for me almost every time on clomid. Maybe you should get a sneaky BD or two in today!!!!

Hi Ladies,

Just a bit of a selfish vent.. I got an positive OPK on CD 16 AND a temp dip, Plus Pain in my side so thought yay, I have O'd.. Then I had 2 raised temps then this morning it's LOW again.. I know that a one off dip doesn't matter but, FF hasn't detected ovulation yet.. I really hope clomid is working :( I guess I'll find out from my bloods which I will be having on Monday :( Feeling frustrated!

Blessedatlast, Don't stress, my first cycle of clomid my BT suggested that I didn't O. But the next cycle was all good. I think it may just take a cycle to start working. Good luck and FX :)

Thanks Tasha and Yas.. I was just sooo sure I had O'd because I displayed 3 symptoms at the same time, the temp dip, positive OPK and the pain was excruciating.. I haven't had pain like that before. Plus I was sooo bloated.. Oh well, I just have to relax I suppose.. I didn't expect to see a BFP this 1st cycle, but confirmation that the clomid is doing something would be nice! Lol
