As a reformed poas addict I am sitting on the fence about testing. Pretty sure I'm not UTD, have no preg symptoms at all, but kinda tempted this time around. AF due Monday but should be delayed by the meds I'm on. Ah! What to do?

oh, yes poas... so addictive, I have resisted so far as last FET I got so many mixed messages. I might just leave it to the last minute. :rolleyes:

Thanks ladies, honestly I am not upset about it coz I really wasn't expecting anything different. ;) our BFP is coming though, every month AF comes I'm another month closer to my dream comin true.

Miloro your a much stronger lady than I. I'm glad you can think of the positive.

AFM- POAS again this morning... I know obsessed much, but I feel so much better for it. I finally got a strong looking positive and for now I am content and will take each days as it comes. So no more POAS for me. I just wish I could be further along so I could be excited instead of scared.

I'll survive until tomorrow. Can I ask if I have been on progesterone will I have to stay on it now that I'm pregenant?

I had to stay on the progesterone pessaries until I was 12 weeks. Xxx

Mrs Mac I was the same as Amy, I had to keep going for 12 weeks.

Mrs Mac, I only stayed on progesterone until 6 weeks. My P4 levels were sky high though (620), so that may be why I stopped so early. FX for great numbers tomorrow! :crossfingers:

Mine was a fresh cycle too, so not sure with the FET? Was yours a natural FET? If so, your body should produce enough progesterone on its own. But if you do a medicated FET then you need to continue the progesterone until the placenta is completely established (at least 10wks) because you don't have a corpus luteum (since you haven't O'd) to produce your own progesterone.

Thanks ladies, my cycle was medicated so might have to stay on them. I'm just worried because I have BT tomorrow but only enough progesterone to last me until Thursday. Guess I'll cross that bridge tomorrow.

So may have been the shortest lived BFP ever. Have had some light bleeding tonight and now feel like its all over before it's even official. Man life sucks.

i am fully appreciating how you feel though. i poas sat & got a neg. poas mon & got a pos. had bt yesterday & results are 33 for hcg, 24 for prog... and now im spotting. i wish i hadn't poas now, then i would've just assumed af was a couple days late due to progestetone. i was prepared for this cycle not working due to no symptoms & neg poas at 12dpo. now things just got harder. : (

Thanks girls i hope so, although 10 days post 5dt I think is late for implantation. Guess its just back to waiting.

Sorry Andie, I hope we both come through this. I guess this is the price we pay for knowing early.

I felel so bad because I have stayed away for being excited and I am yet to buy any thing baby related or read pregnancy books so that I don't jinx us and then tonight I pick up a pregnancy book my sister game me years ago and read te section on 4 weeks pregenant only to find spotting when I went to the loo 30min later. How cruel life can be.

It only take one blossom. FX.

Mrs Mac - sorry to hear that...but don't give up hope just yet.....you said its just spotting..that could be nothing...I had a heavy bleed at around 7or 8 weeks and was sure i was gonna miscarry with DD, but everything turned out fine. FX the same happens for you.

Mrs Mac, I had a light bleed at 14dpo (pink) and 15dpo (brown) with DD and she was fine. Bleeding/spotting seems to be more common with IVF cycles, but not sure why. If you don't have any pain to go with it, chances are it's fine. Just let your Dr know tomorrow...

I have been to the bathroom every 30min this morning and spotting is gone. Still makes me feel uneasy though.
