Hello my girls......i've missed you all soooooo much. I'm with you lil-chookie...having lots of withdrawals. I think i was checking almost every hour for the last few days to see if we were back on, and i just shut the shop, came over expecting to do housework...and here we are....no house work for me.
Did you all notice my avatar. How gorgie pie do i look. Can't wait to show DH.....
I'm feeling so out of touch with everyone....how are you all going....
Well i (and the girls at the clinic) got the shock of our lives on Friday when i went for that 2nd scan, and there was an 18mm follie just waiting for me in my ovaries. I couldn't believe it. 3 days earlier there was nothing.
So DH and I have been DTD the last few nights. I've been OPKing as well. Haven't got a +ive yet, but yesterdays was a bit darker than Sundays and todays was lighter again, so i'm hoping that i O'd yesterday.
Can't wait to catch up on all the goss.....
PS. Do we know if Melbo has had her baby yet...i've been dying to know...i better go check the birth announcements.....
ooooohhhhhh so much to catch up on...
-
hi Shan,
your Av is gorgeous! And so glad to hear that your follie decided to come out to play! All the best for this month and I hope you catch that egg!
As for Mel, the latest news is that she's scheduled for a c/s tomorrow. So either way, Wilmartin will be arriving by the 12th of April!

And Aunty Sush is supposed to be on bed rest.....doctor's orders.
Why am I still seeing you???
Love your av Shan
-
Gorgeous avatar Shan! YAY for your follie, and I hope you caught the eggie ;)
Well, Gareth and I had our first appt with Bob Watson yesterday. We were there for over 2 hours, and I felt so emotionally drained at the end of it. I'd done my research, so not a lot of the info was new, but because of a sudden it related to me, it all felt very different and much much scarier. We're pretty much starting straight away, and using ICSI due to DH's low sperm count.
The plan of attack for us is...
- currently CD17
- on CD20, start provera to induce AF
- on CD23, start synarel
- wait for AF to show up
- start FSH injections CD5
- EPU and ET as normal
I feel really nervous at the moment about all the side effects of the medications ... wish me luck everyone!
-
\:D/ Cherie, you're on your way girl!!!
Good luck, hope it all goes smoothly for you.
Just keep burning that lavender and bergamot to keep you relaxed and positive...
Sue
-
Cherie - Glad to hear that you have finally got the ball rolling and at least now you know what you have to do and have everything in place to make it happen. Good luck. I know you will do well and get your BFP very soon...
-
Shan, yes you are gorgeous, love the av, & hoping you catch that eggie
Cherie, it is a bit of a shock isn't it, but all is good, let's just hope you don't become an 'old hand' at it. wishing the best.
Hope everyone else is well.
-
Cherie - the whole thing is just so daunting, isnt it?! But things are on the way for you, so thats good and its great you dont have a long wait ahead of you before things kick off! I havent had the Syranel but have been told the taste is pretty awful, so I guess you should be prepared for that, and obviously the awful teariness that results from all the hormones, but other than that I have never had any side effects from the meds, so Im sure you will be just great.
Everything crossed for you....
There are some recent vacancies in PG ALTTTC, so we need to move some of our graduates over.... Come on bfps!
-
Shan - Whoo Hoo you look hot, love it!! Great news about the follie, we are about the same this cycle. So that means we are both going to get BFPs and look even hotter with our pg bellies on our avatars!! LOL
Cherie - Don't feel nervous lovely, things are happening. Lot's of positive vibes to you.
Me, well I am pretty sure I o'd on Sat - CD 13. This is great only waiting 2 weeks for O, not 3!! Our bding was all perfectly timed so there isn't much else we could do (see the adults only sections for my funny story). Had a bit of an emotional breakdown in Saturday (this seems to happen on O day??!!!), DH & I had a good talk and finally felt ready to come up with our plan. 3 more months of trying and then we are on a long break. I just can't do this anymore, even though I am back to my postitive self I have those couple of days every month where I just can't handle it. So in August we will be totally on a break, not even trying. In May 06 we are going to Europe for 4 weeks and then to our friends wedding in London. After that as soon as we get back we are starting IVF (will start all the appointments before we go). I feel alot better now that we have a plan and that I know that by then I will be ready for IVF. We wanted to take a long break before hand because I think DH & I need to reconnect again as husband & wife not as baby making machines iykwim.
But all that said we have this cycle and 3 more to make it happen. I seem to be operating again this month on a 28 day cycle (oh thank you QiGong Therapy) so let's see if we achieve our little miracle!!!

Morning all,
Yay lil_chookie and Shan on being TWW buddies! I've added sticky vibes for the both of your on the front page!
No news from sararms either. Her BT is tomorrow I think, and she last posted just as the site went down, and asked about some bleeding. I don't know if she's still after an answer? I hope everything is looking up for her.
Cherie, it's great that you now have a plan of attack. It's even better that you knew a lot of it already going in. Few people are that prepared, and it does make all the diffference when it's not so alien. It's exciting that you're starting virtually straight away too! All my good wishes to you!
And yes, i'm still around  , so will be happy to hang around like a bad smell for as long as I can!

Hey Shez - Lovely to have you join the LTTTCAC 2ww train!! That will be 3 BFP's, they better have those spaces ready for us in PALTTTC. Because that is where this train is heading!!
sarams - Been thinking of you too lovely, hope all is okay.
sushee - no baby yet? I guess I have answered my own question seeing as though you have been on today!
-
i want my train to go to the PALTTTC forum too!!!! :(
-
Jump on board Danni, it's the BFP express!!!
-
-
Hi everyone, I have soooooo been having BB withdrawals but boy has my amount of studing improved.
Good luck everyone on the tww express, I am finishing my tww tomorrow but already know its BFN again, I have shocking cramps etc so unless it is completely evil implantation I think PMS has set in.
Well DH went in to have his varicocele procedure today, but guess what? didn't get it done. The silly hospital booked him in for the wrong procedure and we had to come home. It was really the straw the broke the camels back for me. I have been thinking about changing FS for a few weeks now and have already made another appointment with a different FS which is in July, but I am definately not going back to the current one. The lack of backup we have has is just unreal. Poor DH was sitting in the waiting room before we found out that the booking had been mucked up and he said to me this doesn't sound right, sure enough it wasn't. The poor guy rang 3 times to confirm that he was booked in for the right thing too as I kept saying are you sure about a few things. I actually was telling him just to pull out and not go through with it when they came out and told us.
So I am going back to my gynea in a couple of weeks to get the new referral and take it from there. I am also going to stop the clomid until after I see my gynea and get some idea about having it monitored properly.
Sorry about the lack of personals, I am a bit stirred up about the whole thing and am about to don the sneakers and go for a walk to the bottle shop for a nice bottle of red.
-
That sounds like the perfect medicine Jane.
Sorry to hear about this latest mess up. I think you're making the right decision given your past history with this clinic/doctor.
Your poor DH. It can sometimes be hard enough to get the menfolk to any of these appointments, let alone this type, then to have this happen. Aagghhhhh!
Sue
-
Oh Jane, you poor thing. It seems it's just one thing after another. Keep your chin up lovely...it WILL happen very soon...i just know it.
ALL ABOARD...choo choo choo choo choo chooo.
Anyone else want to jump on too. TOOT TOOT>>>>
-
OOOhhh Me Me! I'll have a ticket please!
-
Jane - I hope you enjoyed that bottle of red, you deserve it girl. Big *hugs* to you and DH. It might be a good move changing FS, the one you are seeing seems to not be giving you the complete care you deserve.
Keen - Jump on board, it's full steam ahead on the BFP express!!
*TOOT TOOT*
*TOOT TOOT*
-
Michelle - I saw your thread about Lyndon Hale, he is very highly recommended and I am booked in to see him also. If you can, call his rooms today and book straight in. I called at the start of this month and the first appointment I could get was 18 July. You can always cancel if need be, but I'd try and get an appointment.
Good luck with it
Cheers
Jane
ps, promise I'll get to some personals at some stage, I'm sneaking this post in at work 8-[

Hi everyone
Firstly Jano, what a right kerfuffle with DH's op. There is nothing worse than that happening, getting all psyched up and then being told.. "Ah sorry we have *$#!ed up and you can go home now"... I think you are making a wise move about getting off the clomid and seeing someone else.. Try and stay strong honey, i know it is hard, but DH and I have been through hell and back with this whole TTC thing too, just remember we are all here for support...
ME..
Wow i was bored out of my brain with the BB website down, no not really, i have been in Sydney having MORE appointments.. this time with the colorectal surgeon.... he is really good looking and i was finding it hard to concentrate!!! I have to have a colonoscopy on the 26th of April, before they operate on the 17th of May..... Great more bowel prep....!!! But finally i can see light at the end of the tunnel...
Hope everyone is well, and BFP's to those who are waiting...
love and hugs
leis xx
-
Hey Leis,
have you had a colonoscopy before?
i have had 2 in my short lifetime and i wouldnt wish them upon anyone.
i hope you are having a general knock out anaesthetic.
Pm me if u wanna chat about it ;)
-
hi girls well i feel that i can now officially join the thread as we are now officialy ready to start IVF, thanks for your post Jane, will be great to have someone starting at roughtly the same time, our specialist is making our appointment for us, so i should know next week when it is, the 18th of July seems so far away. i have been reading and researching madly. Had a girlfriend over for lunch and did some retail therapy this morning actually went to spotlight which really isn't therapy they are soooo slow, but bought some flannels so i can whip up a couple of quilts over the weekend so as i can keep busy then went to the bottle shop and stocked up on my favourite chardy which was on special so figured i can at least keep drinking until our appointment, anyway i am really looking forward to getting to know everyone, hope everyone has a nice easter, we were lucky our school has today and tuesday off
michelle ;)
-
Evening Girlies......
Michelle - Welcome to our little thread. I'm sure you will find heaps of support and advice from the girls in here. May as well keep up with the Chardy while you still can...he he he
Leis - Bummer about another op....Surely this will all come to an end for you soon and you will have your own little bubba in your arms.....
Big Hello to everyone else and wishing you all a very happy easter. I may not be on much over the next few days as we will be flat out in the shop. Easter is our busiest time of year (followed by xmas) so no doubt i will be too tired to do anything once i get back here to the house.....i'm nearly ready for beddy byes now....
night night everyone....
-
hey shan, what shop is that?
-
Hi everyone
I had a rather interesting evening, I brought a hpt at lunch time (just as you do) and thought I might test seeing nothing has happened with AF and she is well and truly due. I did the test and checked on it and had a very faint positive and then went to show DH and it had disappeared. I have had a heap of cramps so Heaven only knows what is going on. I think I have brought a dodgy test, either that or things aren't going well again. So it's going to be fun over easter not knowing what is going on.
Leis - good luck with the colonoscopy, I hear you about the bowel prep, I saw Billy Connoly in concert a couple of months ago do an hillarious routine on bowel prep, he thinks it was developed by NASA LOL.
Shan - hope Easter brings lots of happy cashed up customers
lil_chookie - hope the tww is going well
Michelle - cant wait to hear when you get in to see Lyndon
Danni - how are you going?
It's so nice to have the thread all up and going again, I really missed you guys
Sorry if I missed anyone, DH and I are going away for the weekend so I will check in on Monday. Have a lovely weekend everyone
-
Good Lord Jano... a positive... buy another and try again, hopefully you will get a big dark thick second line!!!! :noaf: :luck: for you and DH when you POAS again!!!
I must say i also love Billy Connelly and would of loved to of seen his bowel prep stint.. imagine being the Dr that does a Colonoscopy on him, oh it would be so funny.....
Hi to everyone else.....
love leis xx
-
quick update (before we leave..not obsessed am I) I used the 2nd test in the kit...BFN. Went and brought different brand this morning and got another BFN.
I am off to kick up my heels and drink more wine and hope AF is kind to me.
Have a lovely long weekend everyone :grouphug:
-
Enjoy the weekend Jano.. sorry that the Kit messed with your head.. how dare it even put the smallest faintest bit of hope into your head when it was a BFN... anyway sweet get on the grog and go feral, enjoy honey..
love leis xx

Hi Girls..
Jane - Don't you just hate that..... :fuming: how annoying....
As for the cashed up customers, we had a good day today, but was raining heavily and cold, so not as good as previous years. Still 3 more days to go....pray for some nice sunny weather and tourists wanting ice-creams.......
Danni - I've answered your question in our 'other forum' so that it's not so public....
Leis - how are you lovely.....
Have a great Easter everybody.......
-
Okay guys.....where are you all. There has been no posting in here since Friday....
Hope you are all on track and going well.....
-
hi girls, hope you all had a nice easter break and didn't eat too much chocolate, i just finished my last gold bunny so now it is time to try and be good for awhile. I have today off as well so still lazing around, will try and unpack some more boxes, i am actually waiting for our specialists receptionist to ring with the date and time of our appointment with Dr Hale, i will probably give her till lunch time then give a call with a gentle reminder, I hate not knowing and now that i know we do need to go down this path i just went to get going.
hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine after the wintery weekend

Hi Lovely Ladies,
Hope everyone had a lovely easter.
How are all my passengers on the BFP express???
Well I could list a heap of symptoms but they could just all be in my head. I have had really sore BB's every since O that is one I can say is definate. So all I can do is keep the fingers crossed.

-
hey chookie,
im certainly still on the train!!!!
(even though i didnt bd enough)
i had mt 21 day bt today and find out the results on thursday.
my temps dont even show ovulation, lucky for the opk!
-
Hi Danni,
2 days to wait for BT results, that a long time!! All it takes it that one time with bding, so hopefully you caught that egg. I gave up thinking you need to bd alot for it to happen. We have tried the everyday thing for a month a couple of times and that still doesn't work!!!
-
TOOT! TOOT!.
I'm still here too.....FF put my coverline back in today - YAY! - and temp this morning was 36.6 so if it stays up there i'm be happy.....
lil-chookie - my BB's are sore too. Usually they only get sore a few days before AF, but i'm only 6DPO, so i'm hoping that's a sign......
-
my temps are really bad...im thinking cos of my cold?
my nipples have been sore but not my actual breasts.
other than that i have no other symptoms-- can you believe that?
-
You never know danni - maybe it will be the one coz it will be the least expected....
-
Yep Danni you might get a nice little surprise because you don't expect it, fingers crossed for you.
My temps are really good, 36.4 then 36.5 then 36.6 today ( a nice neat climb the last 3 days) coverline is 36.16 so I am staying well above it.
TOOT TOOT!
