LTTTC Two Week Wait 2010 #2

Congrats, kmm! Woo hoo! We have needed some BFPs in here.

Do you know what your levels are? We had two embryos transferred, so I'm trying to get a handle on whether mine's high and it could be twins or it's within the normal range for one.

Coral, I'm thinking twins too but do you know (or anyone) when I find out for sure whether I have one or two on board? My FS wasn't giving too much away; he just said it's a good strong level and I have to get another BT in one week; that the most important thing is the level goes up.

That is a high number, so could be... I guess your clinic will do a scan at around 7 weeks, so you'll find out then.

Hey Brunette,

I agree with marcellus.... the only way to 100% confirm twins is with your 1st scan :D.

High Hcg can be an indication (and yours is high ;)!) but does not guarantee twins.

So how does it feel to be UTD, he, he? :dance: So, so happy for you :hug:.

Hi Melissa, I know how quiet it can be in here sometimes; it's all about timing, isn't it, and how many other ladies are going through the TWW at the same time.

Hey Brunette, I am 6 DP 3 day transfer. Trying not to evn think about symptoms but the thing that does really worry me is that the boobies feel absolutely normal. Every other month, including my stim cycle, they were absolute agony and now I'm paranoid that the progestrone supplements are doing nothing and if this was to be a sticky embryo, there'd be nothing to help it stick. Aaaahhh the paranoia.

Hi, this is my first post in this section. Congratulations on the wonderful news of the 3 BFPs!!! I'm also on the wait. My transfer was on Sun 11 April and my final BT is this Sat 24th. So, not so long to go now - but the closer it gets the longer it seems to take! I've felt hormonal since yesterday.

afm... I had my et today so a longer wait on the cards. This is my third tww so getting used to it now!

Not holding my breath on this.. Had 2x day three embys transferred that were ranked 2.5 out of 4.

Got the next four days off work - yay!!

Have lots of things planned if this doesn't work and nothing planned if it does :)

Hey Melissal - I was just saying to Brunette the other day that I've got no pregnancy symptoms (no sore boobies & no bigger boobies) yet I got a BFP. There's always hope mate - think positively.

Christina - wishing you all the luck in the world tomorrow - I feel your pain in that the closer it gets, the slower time seems to go. Four more sleeps for me
Chekigal - just curious, are yuo having any sort of progesterone support this time round? Stay positive :), the flurry of BFPs has begun, long may it continue!! We are the same, have big plans in place if Tues brings BFN which are exciting so at least whatever the outcome, we have something to look forward to.
Things are a tad awkward for me - I work in the very lab where my BT will be going on Tues (I hav arranged to have a sick day, don't want to spend the day blubbering at work) and it just so happens that all th people who I would get to secretly do my bloods are away and the only other person who knows what we are doing and could do it is my boss. So my male boss will know before I do the outcome of this cycle :redface::redface::redface:

Well I'm officially on the TWW bandwagon! Had one embryo (Day 5 Expanded Blastocyst) transferred on Wedesday 21/04 (3 of the same on ice). Final BT on 03/05. Had a BT today to check hormone levels and all going well. I'm on Cronine Gel twice a day.
Feeling very, very bloated. Yesterday (day after ET) I had such terrible cramps in my stomach and then had a quick but horrible diahrea bout! Was not feeling well at all, almost fainted! Rang the FS and they said that the diahrea was unrelated to ET and a bug was going around. I personally think it is my body getting sick of all this medication/hormones. I'd also had acupuncture that morning so not sure if that got everything "flowing". Anyway, not a great start. I was quite upset and worried that it would damage our chances. Feeling better today but still quite crampy in abdomin and I have a sore lower back. Also still extremely bloated and sweating alot during the night. Have been taken panadol every 4-6 hours to help. It does dull the cramping a bit which helps.
Whinge whinge whinge sorry girls, just need to unleash!! How are the others in TWW going? Not fun is it! Hopefully a BFP at the end will make it all worthwhile. FX for all of us.... BFP's seem to happening alot in here at the moment :-)

Just to let you all know my result today was sadly a BFN. Am so sad about that but also feel sooo grateful for our little daughter (22 months) who we was the result of 4 IVF/FET procedures. We still have some frosties and will try again in not too long (already 40 yrs!). F x for Melissa, chekigal, K78 and any others of you who are waiting. Christina

Christina - big hugs hun, so sory that it wasn't good news. I am feeling fairly certain that I will be joining you as the cramps have started and just don't feel too positive. Two more sleeps to go before I know.

Christina - sorry that it wasn't the result you were hoping for, I hope you are okay and have a good support network around you.
Melissa - wow, not long for you now! How are you feeling?
AFM - I had my ET last Wednesday and on the THursday and Friday, the cramping/bloating was terrible but it all seems to have passed now. Now I feel completely normal (only really slightly sore bbs and tiny amount of soreness in lower abd). Not sure if this is a good sign or a bad. It's so hard to know what to look out for. I have moments of pure excitement and happiness thinking about how I will feel if it's a BFP and then I panic and feel sad at the thought of it being a BFN and how I'll cope with that. Such a fine line between being positive and being realistic. Going in the FS told us we had 45% chance of success (which apparently increases with Acupuncture, which I've been doing weekly for approx 8 weeks now). Sorry for going on but god this wait is hard. Need a distraction and unfortunately at the moment the pub is out of question so maybe a movie will do the trick! ;)
