Juniper my clinic said i was exactly 4 weeks, it was a hrt fet so i didnt ovulate and they said they calculate by the day they put the embryo back and how old it was. I'm sure it will change again after my dating scan!
Feeling really down, only 3 days past transfer and I already know I'm out. The PMT and AF cramps have started already! 2 months in a row that these symptoms have come so soon after transfer... Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can ask FS to try differently next time?? I thought the pessaries might help this time but obviously not.... Leading up to this transfer I was so sure this one was it, I feel like a fool letting myself get my hopes up so high - just set myself up for an even bigger fall :(
Furbabies, I'm going to respectfully disagree with them. You transferred a 5 day embryo, so that made you, for all intents and purposes, 5dpo, even if you didn't O. Hopefully the dating scan will line up with the correct dates.

Mind you, if you use the later EDD (based on them saying 4wks), that gives you an extra 5 days at the end before they try to push you into an induction (or other intervention), so I probably wouldn't argue with them in spite of disagreeing...

I know this won't help that much - but try to remember that you do have extra hormones (from the pessaries) running through you, so it's possible that your feelings might be from all of that too - a little bit of hope for just a little bit longer sweetie xx
Furbabies - I'm with Juniper on this one - it's weird that they said that, my clinic always counts the dates from the day of egg pick up (or equivalent) as that's when conception occurred.... but of course you can only go by what they tell you :dunno:

Faye my last cycle was a FET & I used pessaries for the first time. They mimicked the same signs as AF & I got a BFP. I know that it didn't end well but that was the embie being a dud. Don't give up hope just yet xxx

in the end, all we have left is hope - and there's nothing wrong with holding onto it for a while.
there's no reason why this one couldn't be 'the one'. xx
Well i tested today and it came up Neg.. 10dpo.. But i dont know if that might change or if it is a neg its a neg. if AF doesnt arrive over the weekend im meant to have bloods on Monday.

Hey girlies :-) I have been taking a break Waiting for ivf in October..so over ttc! And so giving up on hope it would ever happen without drs.. Er I have not got a single lil bfp in over a yr despite trying so bloody hard .. I got a bfn 3 days ago and was expecting my period today as usual and stopped my progesterone 2 days ago but my temp was up this morning instead of dwn and I wasnt bleeding so I very angrily bought a test just to rule it out grumbling to myself I'm just wasting my money and torturing myself! Was in the coffee shop waiting for my gf and went into the loo and imagine my suprise to find a not too faint second line!!! I was so in shock and then dancing around by myself in the toilet lol!
Omg omg all I have been doing all day is holding and staring at my test stick!
I'm so scared but so excited and shocked after all this time I thought it was never going to happen and if it was by some chance we needed ivf which we had to wait until forever!
Sneaking in to wish Sarah all the very best for a very very sticky 9 months.

Faye, I also had AF symptoms before I got my BFP. It's good that you have them as something could be happening in there like the lil embie attaching! GL sweetie :crossfingers:
