They just called back to say my progesterone levels are perfect but I am on pessaries until 10 weeks. No need for more bloods unless I have any concerns because they are wrapped with my levels. Scan on 24th June :) it hasn't sunk in yet!!

So here I am. The clinic was a ghost town today, and had my drs cover dr..... Her husband. Such a funny character. He was impressed with the size of my bladder ;-) Anyhoo. Little bug is snug. Stay snug little one.
Congratulations Faye so happy for you xo
Williever hope you little bug stays snug and sticks xo
I think little bug is a gorgeous nickname :) FX its a sticky bug xx
Snuggle in little bug!! x
No sleep. Shattered!
Williever was your transfer done using ultrasound guidance? My first 2 were but this last one the FS just went in with no guidance at all. I have a retroverted uterus which he prob didn't even know as he isn't my normal FS so just wondering if using u/s was normal or not.
Jo they never use ultrasounds for my transfers. I often wonder if I should ask for it, but I figure if it made a different to pregnancy rates they would....
We've has u/s there at each one. Although last month nothing showed up. This time we saw the embryo air bubble sitting there.
Funny because not seeing it last time made me anxious, but they must know what they are doing.
I've never had an u/s-guided transfer (out of 6 transfers).
My FS uses one and she has for all 4 transfers but I think she goes by feel more than anything. I think it's just their preference (or maybe shes not as experienced as the others who don't need to?)
Did a double .....
So the not lifting heavy stuff, resting was out the window from transfer day....... Was looking forward to that part.
Stabbing pains yesterday and today. Hoping that's a good thing.
Williever - Me too.....I had grand plans of a nice relaxing weekend and I barely got to sit down (just bad timing!) hoping the movement will increase blood flow ;)
I've got a stinking cold which is i guess an annoying side effect of turning my immune system down...
I've felt a few movements downstairs but nothing too exciting, probably all in my mind!
Yeah I reckon the increased blood flow will help ;-)
Are you on progesterone Hummingbird?
My pelvic area feels a bit bloated at times. Sure that's the progesterone. No headaches this time either. Last time I had headaches all day every day. Different cycle different feelings. So that's what drives us all insane I suppose!
Yep every cycle is different, and I don't want to be obsessive so don't note down my 'symptoms' so i cant compare previous cycles plus I cross my fingers each cycle will be the last so wont care once I get that BFP!
I'm on enough to stock a pharmacy at the moment. On the usual progesterone pessaries as well as a ****tail of vitamins (elevit, fish oil, CoQ10, vit B, occasionally iron), presisolone (?) which is a steroid to turn down my 'highly efficient' NK Cells and daily clexane injections to lower it further, oh and megafol to counteract some possible side effect of the steroids. This is my first cycle since the NK Cells came back elevated so kinda like starting from scratch I guess. Hoping that my body just leave the little embie alone!
Opps! I just read back my reply and realised I wrote c.o.c.k.t.a.i.l and it sensored out the start...he he he
Well I hope the 'mixture' lol keeps those NK cells at bay. Funny how our bodies work against us. Well not that funny, but I tend to laugh rather then cry. So that's what I mean.
I was actually on CoQ10 back before the ivf cycle that have me my DS. Think they're great.... Obviously ;-)
I think they're good in theory too, I haven't felt better since taking them (prob. 6 months) but heard good things so worth trying!
We laugh too (when in the mood to...he he), DH said 'I always knew you were hostile to me!', I respond by saying my quality control is very strong....DS Is perfect in every way so my body rejects anything other that that high standard. Devastating obviously but I can't drive yourself nuts, I'm sad it's taken this long to find the reason but I think it's probably been quick compared to most.
Hope your feeling ok and things are happening...
Williever are you a POAS addict?? Just wondering if I should give it a go sometime in the next couple of days....I know I won't hold out till BT (and working that day, so if AF is late and I am excited and find out it's negative I'll be in for a rough day), just wondering when the optimum time is....
LOL - DH said I'm not allowed, but I bought some IC just in case....
Sorry, double post.
I can be. Last time DH hid them from me!!!!
I actually started to ask myself this today. I'm a day behind you. I just don't know when's a 'good' time to start. We could be getting lines now or much later. I just ask myself how would I feel if there was no line? That usually keeps me from testing for a day or two.
I'm aiming to POAS on 7dp dt. But I'm not promising I'll make it!
You are already at 5 aren't you?
You girls are funny :)
I only POAS once my first cycle and it messed with me so bad, I thought I had jinxed myself so have never gone there again... Usually I bleed before BT though, so I go in knowing already... Only time I didn't bleed was with BFP... This time I have had ET the same day as the BFP cycle.... So I'm hoping the timing is right for my body... But I'm a little apprehensive ill be all excited and it will come out BFN....
Not even 24 hrs in and I am wondering about everything!! Looking up pictures of where blob should be at etc etc etc.... :)
cant wait for the crinone (not) which will just increase all those sensations....
Just taken Pain killers for cramps (very much like AF). So lets start the mind games!!!!
FX they are good cramps and not the AF kind xox
:noaf:
Oh, myturn, how's this for "jinxing"? I've had 3 BFPs and have only used HPTs for 2 of them. Guess which 2 ended in m/c? It's enough to make a girl superstitious... ;)
Hummingbird, when I asked the same question after my first transfer, the consensus seemed to be that 11dpo was a good time to start if you were using sensitive HPTs. That said, my last BFP, my ICs weren't all that sensitive and I didn't get a BFP until 13dpo. I think the new brand I have is more sensitive though (based on testing out the trigger).
Ohhh it's a bit early for AF cramps isn't it? Tough if ur on progesterone it could just be that. FX it's snuggling down :)
I felt a few really strange things yesterday and today nothing...good? Bad? I'm just loopy ;)
I think a BFN will make me wonder this early so ill try to hold out, maybe till 7dp....though your superstitions make
Me wonder Juniper...
The pupo is good as u are living in a denial bubble for a while which is nice (and you feel crap when it's officially negative anyway so may as well be blissfully unaware)....
Yeah too early for AF. Progesterone or little bug? Got a head ache now though so reckon the progesterone is in charge.
Bfn :-( POAS. Silly thing to do!
Hope it's just a bit early williever hug
