Sarah, hugs to you, hun. Was this a FET? I hope that maybe you've got a slow starter and that your numbers will rise nicely.
myturn, don't forget the cetrotide and clexane - they're both nasty like the orgalutran... ;)
Afm, I'm still playing "decode the OPKs" but may have O'd last night (had some pain in my sides which I will discuss with my acu about it tonight) or may do so today, so heading into another 2ww...
-
Oh Sarah - being in limbo is awful. Hope bt tomorrow brings you some answers Hun. Sending you hugs.
Afm - I haven't been sleeping well for last few nights, having drenching night sweats & pain on my right hand side. Trying not to read into things but so hard. The pain was dull but getting worse. Nothing like af cramps & really localised to just left & slightly lower than top of right hip.
-
Sarah hoping its not another chem for you...big hugs lovely xxx
-
Thanks for the well wishes and hugs sweet ladies xoxo
Juniper it was a Clomid cy with natural. Oh and first month on sharkys herbs. The funny thing was I wonderd if the Clomid even worked because I didn't feel any ov pain like usual on it! The last bfp/chem when I o'd , I was in so much cramping I had to sit down on and off!
This time nothing! Infact I cramp in 2ww a lot normaly but this time only slight for one day. Yay!
I've got another bt tomorrow but I really would like to just bury my head in sand instead lol.
I do have majorly itchy boobies ha ha:D

I am distraught :crying: the bloodtest says 12 today!! ... But I swear I've got more prg symptoms, effing effing no way! I don't want to go through this not again!
They told me to stop my progesterone, I'm in denial I guess because I don't want to , I think there's still a chance , lol crazy I know... I am so heartbroken and just so lost :shakehead:
-
Oh Sarah I can feel your pain from here :( sending you big hugs. It's so frustrating to get that far and hopes up and get that news. So sorry hun, be kind to yourself x

Sarah, hugs to you, sweetie. There's no words that can make this better (aside from maybe "lab error"). :comfort:
Nataloosh, great results! FX for the fertilisation!
Afm, calling today 1dpo.
-
So sorry Sarah. Life is so cruel. Hugs for you.
Nataloosh - great numbers. Fx for more good news with fertilisation numbers.
Welcome to the tww Juniper! Hope this is your month for Bfp.
Glorious - I have had cramps in Bfp and bfn cycles too so I really try not to read into cramps at all anymore. Af cramps for me are totally different though.
My pain on right side got really bad yesterday so rang my fs clinic who told me to take panadol & call back if it got no better. I rang back about 3 hours later. They then said to go to gp as could be appendicitis. Got into see gp. He prodded & poked & sent me off for bloods and ultrasound. I saw dr again this afternoon & I have a corpus luteal cyst on my right ovary that is most likely causing me the pain but I also have a gestational sac in the right place. So the dr said I am most likely pregnant & the cyst is providing progesterone. I am just an unlucky one who has stabbing pain from it & hopefully it will go away. My bt isn't till Tuesday so I guess I won't believe anything till then. Had my last pregnyl shot this morning.
-
Omg, Beau! That's awesome! (Obviously, the gestational sac is awesome, not the stabbing pain!)
-
Oh wow that sounds great Beau! Bet you can't wait for your bt! I have a functioning cyst also but my fs said it will go away by itself. Fx for your bfp!
-
Beau that's amazing news!!!! Yay!!! Bet your not noticing your cramps so much in light of this fantastic news. Will keep finger crossed for your official blood test this wk.
-
Sarah- So so sorry honey. I am devistated for you... It's just not fair xx
Beau- OMG that is very exciting clever lady! Xx
-
Thanks ladies - I won't believe anything till 7 1/2 week scan once I see a healthy heartbeat.
-
Congrats beau! Bet you weren't expecting that! FX it progresses nicely for you & you get to hear that hb real soon :)
-
Sneaks in Beau I had that same stabbing pain from CL cyst. Goodluck hope this is a super sticky one. Sneaks out.
-
Ahh! Feels like af coming! Did hpt this afternoon & it was neg. Is it possible to have gestational sac & not be pregnant? So confused right now.
-
Any further news Beau? Hope your okay?
I go in for my fresh transfer tmrw. Have 8 embys as of day 4 (today). Pretty excited for tmrw!
-
Beau are you sure they said it was a gestational sac?? My understanding is they can't be seen until over 5 weeks :dunno:
-
-
:bfn:
I had googled that N2L & it says as early as 4 weeks one can be seen. Obviously the girl was completely wrong though.
-
You never know beau - maybe the slightly higher HCG was something "trying" to happen.
Either way it sucks  be kind to yourself xox
-
Oh, Beau, I'm so sorry to hear that. :(
-
NitsNat article
Sorry to hear that Beau... Xx
-
Had my first embryo transfer today. So quick! I thought that I'd be recommended to lie still for 30-60mins as I've read in a number of articles... But no, advised to get straight up and at 'em. Is this normal?
-
Very normal Nataloosh! I remember after my first transfer, I needed to wee as they were taking me back to get changed and I said "am I even allowed to got to the toilet" the nurse chuckled and said most definitely!
-
Yep I agree Nataloosh it's totally normal! My clinic does ultrasound guided ET and you have to have a very full bladder so as soon as the catheter was out I had to run to the loo. I have everything tightly cossed that your embryo is super sticky! Did you end up with any for the freezer? X
-
Yep Nat you can go back to normal activity after. My FS tells me to go and have a nice breakfast and a coffee! Just no exercise or heavy lifting! How important is the US guided ET girls? My clinic doesn't use it and I've often wondered how important it is?
-
Well I am out of the TWW.................
With A BFP!!
BHCG 313
prog 346
:D
-
Glad to hear that I've done nothing wrong by getting up straight after the egg transfer. I just don't want to do anything to jeopardise my chances - I may be a little paranoid! So I started with 18 eggs retrieved, 15 mature enough for icsi injection, on day four I had eight looking 'really good', but today the embryologist said that they couldn't freeze any today as they had 'spaces' which they want to divide and fill up more so that they can't be damaged by the freezing process... Was very confused, so I asked how many I'd have to freeze on day six (tmrw) and they said many 1 or two or maybe none at all! Was shocked as they kept telling me that they were progressing super well and looked great... Thanks for all the well wishes ladies!
Glorious - congratulations!!! Really happy for you. Enjoy this very special time. :D
-
Unfortunately this can happen Nat.
On my first round I had 15 eggs and on day 5 only had 2 morulas which we transferred back and none to freeze. Ours slowed down in growth on day 4 too. Its so frustrating I know. We had 20 this time and 15 fertilized. We had 11 frozen on day 3 which looked really good. So I'm hoping when we thaw them out to day 5 that we don't have same issue. Did you have a blastocyst ET today?
-
Woohoo glorious!!! A big congrats to you. Wishing a very happy & healthy 9 months ahead :p
-
Yes, I had a blastocyst transfer today, but they said they wouldn't have been able to freeze this one either as it had some spaces in it as well. They said it wouldn't be a problem for a fresh transfer, but the small voids where the cells hadn't packed yet can cause pressure when freezing and thawing leading the embryo to distort. So they are giving those left another day or two to see if they make it to a level for freezing... Fingers crossed. :)
