LTTTC Two Week Wait 2013 # 3

Thanks Joeve, but this morning it's brown, got a headache, backache and cramping. It's just like AF, damn it! Oh well, because I started testing early I actually prepared myself now for a BFN so it won't be a nasty surprise on Monday. Thanks for your encouragement though hun, but I don't think it's looking good. All good though, I have two more on ice, I would be so devastated if there was nothing on ice...

I've still got no cramping or anything, no signs of pg at all boobs feel as UN sore as ever lol.
Bt was meant to be today but when I went in the nurses forgot to fax my form in so couldn't do it... I just walked out and figure I don't need a jab to tell me bfn.
I'll do a hpt on sun just to make sure then stop progesterone.

Miss.B, there's always a chance until AF shows. With DD, I had some pink bleeding (light) at 14dpo and brown at 15dpo then BFP at my 16dpo b/t. I was so convinced AF had started at 14dpo that I almost had a very large (alcoholic) drink, but thankfully decided to wait for AF to start properly.

Exactly Miss B still do your test you never know! Remember Beau and just as Juniper said with her situation! I think bt is the only way to know. Will you still try and get yours Sarah?
Atm feeling lots of pmt symptoms, cranky and af cramps! But that's about it. Tuesday can't come quick enough! :confused:

Sarah, you're funny :) Sorry that you couldn't do your BT today. Hopefully AF just stays away for you and you get a nice surprise with a BFP! I'm only going on Monday as I need to know either way so I know whether to keep my FS app. on Thursday or now. I'm pretty sure I'll get AF before Monday anyway :(

Juniper, thanks sweetie, I know there is still a little chance but the symptoms I'm having are exactly like before AF makes her entrance. When I got all my bfp in the past, I had the cramping but not all the other tell tale signs like headache, sore back, spotting espacially. With the other bfp, I never had any implantation spotting/bleeding or any spotting what so ever really. I basically feel exactly like I did when I got my bfn middle of last year. Oh well, we'll know soon enough!

Bunnyfeet, I know what you mean. I haven't tested for the last 2 days, I'm almost reluctant to test tomorrow as I'm already cramping & spotting. If I don't get AF before Monday I will test, but that's highly unlikely.

Miss.B, I didn't have any spotting or bleeding with either of my m/c, only with DD... I hear what you're saying though - I didn't get the pre-AF sore back with DD either...

Thanks Juniper, it really feels like AF is almost here. My back has been sore for for a few days, it started half way up my back and now it's moved into the lower back area. The headache for me is always present before AF turns up, it's a funny type of headache, not like other headaches I sometimes get, I always know it's my pre AF headache lol. I'm sort of over it now, I've accepted it's a bfn, I'm curious if my FS recommends anything different (ie growing out the embryos etc). I have a feeling this little 'perfect grade A' embie just stopped dividing at some point, I don't think implantation happened at all due to the lack of cramping.

I've read that early pg symptoms are exactly like pmt Miss B?! Definitely read about headaches and back pain! You just never know hun ;) when is your AF actually due?

Bunnyfeet, AF is due on Monday. I woke up this morning really crampy, I'm sure it will come tomorrow. With my last cycle which was bfn, I got AF the day before my BT. How are you going? Will you do a sneaky test? X

I was actually in my FS this morning with my friend who was being scanned for possible early pg failure :( foetal heart very weak so she has to have another scan nxt wk. I asked fs could I test today and he said no coz I only did my Pregnyl shot Tuesday so he said definitely wait till Tuesday:banghead:

Oh no Bunnyfeet, I hope your friend's scan goes ok next week. That must be so stressful for her :(. Bugger about not testing hun, but at least you can still live in the blissful PUPO bubble :) I'm definitely out :(

Well, I'm going with the 'embryo looked great under the microscope but genetically it wasn't ok' theory rather than 'there was nothing wrong with the embryo, it just didn't implant' because I would be really concerned why it didn't implant if it was of great quality. I'd be really upset if for some reason the conditions weren't 100% ok in the uterus, because so far 3 out if 4 times my embryos have stuck (regardless if the pg went to term or not). I'm left wondering, why didn't it take this time if the embryo was a grade A and so perfect looking? Anyway, I guess I'll never know. It's hard :(

Hello ladies! Im in my tww after a fet on Wednesday! Being back here sucks because our first cycle was a bfn! Boo to the tww! It sucks!
How soon would be too soon to test? My bloods are Monday week, but as I live in the country we dont get results until the day after. Would Saturday be too early? I didnt last time bit this time I just feel like stuff it I'll test if I want! :)

Oh I know how you feel Miss B :wall: I wonder the same. That's why I'm considering a laproscopy etc if this cycle doesn't work just to check I'm okay. Have you ever considered one? But in saying that, our two blasts transferred last week weren't very good grades (C&D).

Miss Kris welcome to the tww! Are you on any meds like pregnyl boosters? As it will depend on that on when you can test. I had 3 Pregnyl boosters after my FET (last one last Tuesday) and my FS said I can't test for 7 days after (next Tuesday) :doh:

Bunnyfeet, I don't think my FS will suggest a lap although it might be one other question I might ask, as I've never had problem with implantation. Last year when we had a bfn, the 5 day embryo was supposed to be a blastie, but on the day of transfer is was only a compaction morula, so the embie was already lagging behind. I think it was a grade D from memory. This bfn (it must be a bfn as I've been getting negative tests up until Saturday - I skipped Thu & Fri but tested Sat and it was still bfn) it a mystery so far and the embryo looked great on day 3 (graded A) but who knows what happened on the subsequent days? It could have arrested on day 4 or 5, well it must have as it didn't stick. Like I've said, I'd be really worried if the conditions in the uterus were not ideal, as I'd be a bit peeved off, they told me everything looked OK according to the two bt I had. I am going to bring up the lining at the FS meeting though...that's got me a bit worried. I wonder if the progynova tablets threw something out of whack, as initially my other IVF nurse said to skip a cycle which I didn't do as we agreed my body ovulated on it's own despite taking those tablets to prevent ovulation. Now I'm wondering if I should have listened and skipped that cycle???? Oh and my FS said plenty of women get pg with grade C embryos :)

Miss Kris, welcome to our 2WW :) I hope that your cycle works. I usually don't get a second line until 6 days post a blastie transfer (day 5 embryo) or 8 days post a 3 day embryo transfer. GL!

Miss B, just poking my head in to say I'm sorry for your BFNs :( Don't blame yourself though. It is far and away most likely an egg quality issue rather than implantation. Doesn't make it any easier though :hug:

Thanks n2l. I'm guessing that, especially as I haven't had an issue with implantation, and helloooo!!!!!!!! I'm 43 now :wall: That's why I will be asking FS if we can grow the other two to day 5, and see what happens. Scares the pants off me to do that though, cos they might not make it to day 5 and then we have nothing again...the only reason we froze the three embryos on day 3 was because I had a low number of embies. I think I have one last cycle in me left, but that's it. Will take lots of convincing for OH.

Yeah it was a 5day embryo, and im on progynova, estradol patches and crinone cream. All crampy today!

I have a question, how do you work out how many dpo you would be after a transfer? So I am currently 4dp5dt? It's very confusing!

Miss Kris, you count the day after your transfer as day 1, so if you had your transfer on Wednesday you are 4 dpt at the moment. With a blastie, I would not expect to see anything until 6 or 7 dpt.

My BT is tomorrow morning, I'm sure it will be a bfn, just need a confirmation I guess. Still no AF, but there is always tomorrow :(

Hi and welcome, Miss Kris! To work out dpo for a transfer, you add the two numbers - ie 4dp5dt = 9dpo (4+5=9).

I took a fit of tickley coughing today and got a really sharp pain in both my ovaries almost like I pulled a muscle on both sides :( has anyone ever had this during tww??

I'm hoping for a much better outcome for you Bunnyfeet, I'll keep everything crossed for you. I got those pulling pains when I was pg Hun, for me it was the uterus stretching. I'm so nervous about tomorrow I hate that I have such high expectations this time as I'm normally very level headed and don't allow myself to get excited! I guess I've had symptoms this time that I've never had before so that's what's getting my hopes up! I'm gonna crash hard if it's a BFN :( and my fs is away on two wks hols so ill have to wait until he gets back to make plan B if I'm not pg! I'll drop in tomorrow and let you know how I go :o
