LTTTC Two Week Wait # 8

JOeve - so so sorry this isn't the month. Sucks at any time but somehow more at the end of the year

HB - HUgs to you too. AF is such a cow! I hear you on the birthday thing too. I was totally depressed at gaining an extra yr this year but as everyone will tell you - success still happens ALL the time in older women. Just may take us a bit more time and heartache.

Marushke - Hope those lines are getting darker and your BT shows good solid levels

AFM - I am officially confused. Definitely thought I was out - really bad cramping ( which isn't always an indicator one way or another), some spotting and I admit I did test at 11dpo and got BFN. I have tested many times at this stage in the past and never got a false result either way. Anyway, we are going away tomorrow for the weekend, so I thought I'd better just test again last night so I could be sure whether to take my whole pharmacy of meds or just a pack of hygeine products. Much to my suprise, I got a reasonable BFP. Not as strong as I'd probably like to see at this stage but defnite. I don't quite get how it could change so much in just 1 day and am still VERY anxious that the levels may not be great and possibly another chemical. MY BT is not until MOnday so guess I just have to wait and see. Happy I am still in with a chance but still it just doesn't seem quite right.
Also wondering if the crinone may be causing some irritation as the blood I've seen is only mixed in with the crinone "leftovers" (sorry TMI) - not just blood on its own. Anyone else had this?

I am confused too (but not in such an exciting way!) I did another OPK just then (after no peeing since 8am and not drinking for three hours). The test line is as dark as the control, indicating a surge. Yesterday's faint line after two almost positive lines the two days previous must have been due to diluted pee...So, it's back to the workbench for me :p

Meredith a positive is great news! Mine is still no where near the control line and lighter than I wish so I share your fears. All we can do is dig in and wait til BT. I had some blood mixed in with the Crinone a few days ago, but it was old blood... almost looked like blood from EPU. So excited for you, FX!!!

Meredith - YAY! Hope all continues to go along positively (pun intended)

Well I', back in the tww with o being today. Such a shock as it has happened naturally when I was told yesterday that the likelihood of falling naturally was so low (I think about 1%) due to my ovualtion problems and today I am ovulating on my own. So I'm off to find DH and as the nurse told me get jiggy with it. Fingers crossed! They want to do a bt in 10 days if no af by then - does anyone know why it would be so early? Usually it has been 14 (but I was taking progesterone then???).

Congrats on o-ing Keta! I reckon the BT might be to check progesterone...

Keta - congrats on ovulating on your own! I haven't done so in years so I understand what an achievement that is!

Marushke - wishing all the best for BT today. Hope your levels ease some worry.

Well I tested again last night and got a pretty strong 2nd line BFP so feeling a bit more hopeful although not rejoycing for awhile yet. We are away for the weekend so hopefully I will be distracted until BT MOnday. Will get back online then.

FX for everyone else in the TWW. Today is my last day in the TWW, the test line was much darker today so I feel semi confident, having a BT today through my GP and if I get desperate I might get the results this afternoon. Wish you could all get your BFP's as well.

im back here now after my IUI today :pray: im hopeful this time as FS said i had 3 eggies released this time n 6.5mill sperm :D so good odds i get one fertilised right? ... gosh id be so happy! ... my test date is the day before christmas... the 24th!! im not sure if i should test or not cause im scared of being bummed for christmas with DH away working... but on the otherhand... that would be the best chrissy present if it was a BFP... this long term TTC thing rules my life :shakehead: i just think ill try n forget about it until then and then decide lol xxxxxooooo GOOD LUCK GIRLS :pray:

Thanks for all the well wishes girls. Nothing to report really as only 3dpo. I feel really sane this tww, which is an odd feeling lol. But then again I think it is that I'm fairly realistic that 1% is not a lot as just happy that I ovulated in my own. One step at a time hey! Hope you have all had a nice weekend.

Meredith how are you in your 2.5WW??? I've been thinking of you.

Well, after thinking 1 was totally out with bad symptoms and BFN FRER/HPTs at 11dpo and even only very faint at 12dpo - I am now most definitely pg!!!!. My BT today (12dp5dt/17dpo) showed HCG of 1031 and P4 137. I'm still quite suprised actually as I'd never had a -ve HPT and then been pg (and I've been pg and not pg plenty of times!).Thought this one might end up another chemical but HCG much better than my last pg that fizzled out so a little more confident this one is at least on the right track for now. Getting another BT on Wed to put my mind at ease, then another in a week. Then if we get that far, its the long wait for first scan and beyond. I've lost quite a few even after seeing HBs so going to be pretty anxious for awhile yet. However, VERY happy to at least be in with a shot at my dream.

My HCG today was 370 (up from 82 3 days ago) and progesterone was 47. Though it seems nothing compare to the stella result of Meredith!
