Baby2bee - sorry to hear. You sound well adjusted to the news. Although few words might also mean hard to talk? I love your attitude and with a trip to Broome planned that would certainly help. God what I would do for a glass of bubbly! You enjoy it - its well earned hey! Enjoy the break and here's hoping the next cycle will be the one.

Baby2Bee - So sorry to here it's a BFN. These things never get any easier. I hope you have a fab time in Brome and enjoy the bubbly. Wishing you success for your next attempt.

Sorry Baby2Bee.. Enjoy your champers and take care of yourself. Best of luck with your next cycle!

B2B- I so sorry this cycle didn't work out for you.
lilmiss- Thanks for the info on the natural FET. The BT 2 days before makes sense. I wish I would have been given that. It would have let me trust my body a little more. I had a BT 7 days before. I will be bringing this up with FS if I get a BFN. Your view on things does put me at ease. I think that part of my negativity is self-preservation.
mift- Glad it was a useful question. I wish it was described to me better. GL with your natural FET.
Krikkit- It's terrible how they railroad us when we are new to whole ART thing. They think the first cycle is no big deal. It is the one that they should be treating us the best and is usually the most expensive. I will definitely be different next time round.
Sorry Krikkit, I can't answer your question but I know exactly how you're feeling. I feel like I have constant butterflies in my tummy. Can I ask a question, What was the BT you had today for? Should I be having it too??
AFM- I'm struggling with constant feelings of anxiety. Just wish I knew one way or the other. I keeping feeling my BB to check if they are sore, then I panic that I can feel lumps. My mind is all over the place. If I was going to POAS, when should I do it? Is Sunday too early? My Day 5 ET was on Monday. That would be an awesome father's day present.
Apologies for my ramblings  I'm blaming the 2WW!

Hi Starbright - my clinic does a BT about 5 days post transfer to check oestrogen and progesterone levels.
I don't know if its common practice though - you can check with your clinic.

Hello ladies... up early with the dratted hound... I wasn't thinking about this so early I felt the need to get up at 6.44 on a saturday to write it!
About two pages ago, we were talking about things to start and stop on a 2ww and I thought of another one. I had a body wrap the other day (I'm sure it's just normal body lotion, they stick you in a foil thing and then go off to send text messages and drink coffee.. anyway) and afterwards, looked at the bottle and in big letters it said "DO NOT USE WHEN PREGNANT". Now, as I'm in the 6ww waiting to get my AF in order to get the 2WW (and I must be the only person in this thread dying for my AF!) it doesn't really matter for me. But I thought I'd add 'being careful with lotions & potions' onto our great long Worry List. As there is pretty much bugger all you can do that's exciting in the 2ww/ when pregnant, I thought spending as much as you can on a really good body lotion that is suitable is a good idea - if you get a BFP, you know your skin is going take a beating so you might as well get in practice! My lady said that as a general rule plain oils and lotions are best, and fruit based are ok (rose, tangerine, clementine etc all ok, woody herbs not fine but that's a massive simplification and do check before use). And theres a whole list of abortifactants in chinese medicine but I'm afraid I don't know much about these so I'd look on the web for more info
Have a lovely weekend ladies x

Hi Ladies,
I have been meaning to post in here for the last week, but have been so busy with work.
LondonMiss: Thanks for the tip. I have some money put aside from my birthday I am intending on using for a massage at my fav massage place following this cycle. They have a specific preg one, so I will make sure I ask for that one.
Starbright: Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit low  FX the rest of your TWW flies by. I don't know when the earliest you could do a POAS and trust the results would be as this is my 1st IVF cycle.
B2B: Sorry to hear AF arrived  Enjoy your champas and GL with your next cycle.
Krikkit: GL with the results of your BT from the other day. FX you won't have to find out how many cycles it usually takes.
lilmiss: I'm sooooo happy to see you've been able to achieve your BFP. I remember you from way back in the 6months+ threads. Wishing you a H&H preg
Coral: Thanks for the info. DH is allergic to caffiene, so besides the odd chockie hit (that I probably shouldn't have but make me feel oh so better on a down day) I don't have any caffiene in my diet. FS couldn't believe it when we told him.
Paula: Sorry to hear about AF  GL for your next cycle.
Nix: Hope you are feeling more positive. GL with your BT on Thursday :goodluck: I have one HPT in the cupboard as well and have to keep telling myself "it's too early, step away from the HPT"......
Big hello to anyone I've missed.
AFM: I'm going out of my mind!!!!! One minute I'm positive this cycle has worked and am looking forward to the BT which is on Friday, the next I'm convinced it hasn't and am in the sulks :wall: I can tell DH is starting to become a little frustrated, which is completely understandable. The only real signs (if you can call them that) I've got are a quite sore left bb (when I got home from work on Friday there was this dark vein popping out and throbbing just along the top of my nipple, sorry if tmi) and a quezy belly every now and then (which could just be from my anxiousness). Am tempted to do a HPT, but will try my best to wait it out until the BT. The only other hope I'm holding on to is that on a natural cycle I would have started spotting 2 days ago.
:pink-babydust: :stickyvibesboy: to you all.
