Hi Wishingbaby! Welcome to the party. It's going to be very exciting for all of us in early Feb.
I'm now visualising conception occurring ;) Obviously will be looking for impantation signs soon :rofl: Oh God, I promised myself I wouldn't do this to myself, but I guess that's just how I am
-
Thanks Mollygirl xx
Hi Wishingbaby - good luck with your Pregnyl - Im on crinone - I think Nep is on Pregnyl as well ??
Gee we are a medicated up to the eyeballs kind of group - arn't we ... No wonder they say no drinking :o
Neptune: You visualise away my love, that's just what you need to do ... Aust Day maybe ???? Implantation day for me .. we are hopefully going to a bbq ... so I can't think toooo much about it .. I did have a little lay down before with some classical music playing to meditate and think postive thoughts, one thing I am trying to do is listen to my body, after the epu, I am still a little twingy, so laying down every now and then, even for ten minutes, just helps me ...
Am I rambling ...I think so ....I better go and dust
-
I looked at the dusting, and decided that it's too hot in Sydney to do any kind of housework. We don't have air-con, so I am sitting at the PC with a fan on me trying to write a stupid essay about marijuana. Oh, and wearing a bikini as I keep jumping in and out of the cold shower to cool off....not a good look, especially if someone knocks on the door!
The little lie-downs sound good WLAB, I might be doing that a little later on too.
Just think girls, no matter what, we are getting closer and closer to our dream :p
-
Neptune: After you mentioned your weather I checked Melb weather on Foxtel, and we have 30, 35,38,37,36 followed by another lovely 36 ..... wt ?? I am going to call the nurses at the clinic and ask can I go and swim at the beach ????
You are a very brave woman wearing a bikini ... I have put on 7 kilo's ... mine are buried in a deep dark place .. never to be seen again if I dont get crackin '' at least my fingers will be skinny ... all this typing:rofl:
-
Woohoo - hello girls!!!
I am so excited to be here - and great to see you here my lovelies - WLAB, Neptune and Wishing Baby.... I think I read it right - it's just the four of us so far? And hopefully a few more to come just looking at the Jan thread.
Loving the sense of humour you girls are spreading as well - the talk of the champers is making me feel right at home - girls after my own heart.
Neptune - I think the positive visuals are great and I wouldn't be surprised if they are lusting after each other big time!!
WLAB - I'm with you on the bikini I too have some extra padding - in fact am sitting here with the button undone on my pants - eww sorry TMI!
I am so happy to be here - this is only my second transfer after starting IVF in May last year. It feels like a major milestone and I going to try really hard to enjoy it rather than stress, as the end result will be what it will be - so I might as well try and enjoy the journey. Although agree WLAB I am a bit worried about the weather coming up this week as well in Melb - sounds like is going to be a shocker we don't have aircon either although I am campaigning for it when we renovate later this year.
In terms of the lovely drugs, I am feeling very lucky this cycle as my FS has only prescribed one injection of Ovidrel next Thursday. Oh and my BT is due on Friday 6th Feb.
Sticky vibes to all of us - and here's to BFP's in what we will be calling Fertile Feb!
Stay cool
x

OK - just worked out our dates in order, just helps me remember when I come back to post. Not sure about anyone else but I have been ridiculously absent minded and forgetful lately!
Wishing Baby - 4th Feb - stay away AF
WLAB - BT 5th Feb
Me (Aleenta)- BT 6th Feb
Neptune BT - 9th Feb
We are going to rock the BFP's in Feb!!
-
Evening
WLAB hope you are not going too crazy
Neptune Cool showers are the way to go it has been so hot lately even down south
Aleenta Welcome good luck with BT on 6th fingers crossed we all get our BFP's
AFM my BB's are really sore not sure if it is a good sign or not as I know the pregnyl can make them go like that but not usually this early after O trying not to get my hopes up, but I have also been experiancing a feeling in my ovaries area kinda like someone has gotten a hold of them and is squeezing, it is worst in the mornings and kinda makes it hard to walk but by the evenings it is pretty much gone, last cycle I experianced this but again it wasn't this early after O and for some reason I keep smelling saw dust. Thankfully I am purchasing my first home with DP so that is kinda keeping my mind off things but obviously not as much as I would like.
Good luck ladies, hope we get a few more in here with us soon.
-
Fertile FEb!!!! Love it
God, it sounds like it will be HOT in Melbourne over the next few days. My family are all in Melbourne, so I am sure to hear all about it! Mark my words, you girls will be digging around for those bikinis before the end of the week.
I feel okay today, slept like a log after the cool change here. Going to try and knuckle down and finish first draft of essay.
I figure implantation may happen perhaps Thursday for me, so I am just imagining the little blip of cells dividing happily day by day at the moment.
How are my buddies doing today?
-
Morning all .. Go Fertile Feb
Glad everyone is going well and doing things to keep busy, I must admit I would rather be buying a house than doing an essay ... sorry Neptune ;)
Aleenta : Do you mind if I ask what clinic in Mel you are at? We are certainly on different medical support for the next two weeks
I am good, nearlly caved and bought early HPT's from Ebay yesterday, then a gf knocked at the front door, so I had to cancel..My BB's are still sore from the stim cycle, one thing I do know from my past two preg (m/c) is that I had af symptoms and pains so I am not reading my body one little bit for signs..
Off today for a little romantic picnic in Willie today, in keeping with the spirit of Fertile Feb ;) Hope you lovely ladies have a special day
-
Hello gorgeous 2WWers,
WB - Signs are sounding good - well except for the sawdust!! LOL - has it put you off food?? Good luck with the house purchase - v. exciting time and new beginnings are always great.
Neptune - Good luck with essay - I hope your not like me and leave those sorts of things to the last minute!! And hoping there is extraordinary cell division right up the East Coast :)
WLAB - hope you had a divine picnic - it was certainly great weather for it - such a beautiful day.
AFM - We just chilled out at home most the day, went for a walk caught up with friends for drinks for a couple of hours (I was posing with lemon lime and bitters and pretending there was vodka in it). Whilst my closest friends know what's going on I don't feel like publicising it widely. And me not to have an alcoholic bevvy is kinda out of character! Funny thing is that at the moment I am not even missing having a drink. More important things happening. Off to sit on the couch watch the tennis and tuck into some choccy icecream.
Ciao for now

Hi Girls
Aleenta - I got stuck into the ice-cream last night too. How good was Jelena Dokic?
I'm off to Aust day celebrations. It will be interesting not drinking, but I really don't mind.
First pregnyl injection this morning.....my DH calls these ones "the imBIGilator" because of the way my boobs become so swollen and big! (all of a B cup mind you).
Essay going okay....I have 2200 words out of 2000  Woops, need to do some shaving. Still got a lot of work to do, but nothing that can't wait until tomorrow?
What's everyone up to today?
-
Hi Neptune,
Jelena was awesome last night - really enjoyed it. Have had a quiet day so far but visiting friends for a bbq this evening - they have a 3 week old daughter so I am loaded with cute gifts. Agree it is very weird not drinking - I have been buying bottles of evian and san pelligrino like it's going out of fashion - makes me feel better than just drinking filtered tap water - somehow seems less boring - silly I know:doh:
Enjoy the rest of your day - I am just loving that time seems to be moving on quite fast - am sure it will slow tomorrow when I am back at work!
Talk soon

Glad to see a few more people in here, it was a bit lonely with no one to chat with. Hope you all have a painless TWW. Mine is almost over as bloods are on sat. They were due on thurs but I go back to work that day and didn't think I could deal with that kind of news. Does anyone know how long pregnyl 1500 stays in your system, as BT is due on thurs thought I might POAS on fri or sat. Had last pregnyl on sunday. Usually Af will show up they day after BT but I am on the pesseries so that should stop it arriving.
-
Hi Saph,
Just wanted to send you a :goodluck:
Lots of :stickyvibesgirl: :stickyvibesboy: for all you girls in the TWW.
Sara
-
Saph - hang in there love. i can't help you with pregnyl tho, i had the joys of crinone.
WLB - how you doing?? not long now!
Ange - i also understand. i'm very mindful of that exact same issue this tww. it's an excellent forum and help but i need to temper it with life. Especially in tww! hope all your dreams come true love.
neptune - sticky vibes for you sweet. aren't injections just so much fun? HA!
wishing baby - hi! how are you? remember the mantra - IGNORE ALL SYMPTOMS! (it sounds so easy but we know the truth).
Aleenta - hi lady! hope you are well.
AFM: I won't make into this month's tww. Have had three blood tests and it seems my system is still out of whack following the stim cycle in november. First test last wednes was 100; next on Friday was 260; and this mornings has jumped to 630. So they think my surge has started and i have another BT tomorrow morn with the view for FET on Monday, February 2.
Am feeling a lot more positive about life and such atm. it's been a very tough few months with frist stim cycle in nov, only one frostie, a super late AF this month, then a good friend's sudden death.
But must admit, that i have all but discounted poor old frostie out. we only have the one (i know, that's all it takes) but am mentally preparing myself for a stim cycle in feb. I think its a protection thing.. keep looking forward.
thanks for all your support girls,
oxox

Hi Ladies
Hi Ladies
It has taken me a little bit to get in here because I only just realised there was this thread. It's great to have some buddies going through the exact same thing as us - the TWW.
My AF is due about the 6th Feb, just before my birthday which is on the 7th so I will either have an incredible b'day or perhaps a not so great one.
I've noticed that all of you have scheduled BT's, do you schedule those yourselves or does your FS's/docs organise it? I was just told to do a HPT. Or is that with IVF you do a BT not IUI. Sorry for my ignorance, you can tell I am new to this probably. I just can't believe how sore my boobs are from the Pregnyl.
Oh does anyone know If I took the wrong dosage of Pregnyl - what will that do?
Anyway - all the best to you all. :crossfingers: for you all
-
hi loops12,
i can't say anything about IUI, we're straight into IVF as we are that hopeless at babymaking, but i have my BTs arranged by the clinic. My BTs are for tracking my cycle as they are using my natural cycle to implant a frozen embroy collected in our first stimulated IVF cycle (done in nov).
I'd ring your clinic if you think you've had a wrong dose, but one of the other girls might have better advice on the side effects.
good luck and welcome aboard!

Evening Ladies
Saph - There is quite a lot of info on BB about how long Preg stays in your system, I cant think where though, if you google it you will find an answer .. Not much help I know
Grub - Really sorry to hear about your good friend, that is really sad .
Loops - MIVF does organise a BT - but its say 15 days after transfer
Neptune - Yay re the essay ... great to get an essay finished, hope your little eggie and swimmers are dividing nicely
Aleenta - Hi to you and glad your TWW is going well and quite quickly
AFM : At a bbq at gorgeous park today, beautiful day, I had been hoping for an implantation bleed, as I have had them with the last +'s, so I am not sure, how I am going. That was the one sign I was looking for, for this tww, thats the only sign, I know you can get a pos without a bleed, but I was just hoping for a big sign .. Not to worry, I am still remarkably calm, and know that I have to remain that way.
A bit of trivia: we returned home (30 min trip) and I could not find my reading glasses anywhere, looked high and low, unpacked the packed eskies, went throught the bin .. Back I went to the park, and some kind soul had left them on the side of the carpark for me to find. So that was wonderful, they saved us $800.00 !!!! So said a big thankyou to the universe.
Have a happy Monday ladies, look forward to hearing all your news this week :D
