Well, i've officially entered tww craziness! despite my best attempts to avoid. have also had my hopes raised today - i got some light spotting and immediately thought implantation!!! so i've gone from "ah, whatever'' to "oh my god, did i just feel tired, i must be UTD". just hanging for the 11th. this is CRAZZEEEEEEEEE

Girls I take my hats off to you all!! DH and I have been ttc for 17 months however we are only on our 2nd cycle of AI by means of IUI!!! I am coming to the end of my 2ww - only 4 sleeps to go - and i'm just about at the end of my tether. I keep thinking, if it don't get a bfp this month then i don't know how much more of this i can put myself through!! I don't know how those who have been trying for so much longer keep doing it!! You are all my absolute hero's and if you weren't on here asking questions, giving advice, venting etc I would have probably torn my hair out by now!!! A big thank you to you all for helping each other through this!!! :clap:

A big big thank you to you all for your support. Sorry for my overflow of emotions yesterday. I was very worried about DH and I was not coping well. However, we are both feeling much better. I got AF today. It was heavier than usual as it was a few days late. I became light headed and weak, but feek fine now.

Thank you everyone for your advise. I'll take a few months off I reckon. The last 12 months have been appointment after appointment, test after test. We need a break to regain our strength before we start again.

Hugs to everyone. I'll be back in from time to time so don't think you're rid of me completely! I want to see the BFP start coming through. Aleenta, hope your next with the rest of you to follow. Love ya's!

Hi Spring - hope you are doing well. I totally understand the need for a break. After 3 x failed IUIs and then this IVF cycle, if it fails, we will probably take some 6 - 12 mths off. It is important to take the time out for yourselves, enjoy your holiday from ttc :)

Mollygirl - hoping the next week or so flys by!!

Grub - I agree. I am having so much trouble keeping up with everyone. A b/t tracker would help out a lot, then we all know where everyone is. What does everyone else think? Grub your light spotting sound very optimistic indeed. What dpo are you?? Yes the tww sucks bad but thank god for BB and all you lovely ladies to help me through!!

Hi Kittycat - good luck with the natural cycles. It could be just what your body needs right now and maybe even a natural bfp will come your way.

Welcome to TWW Cuddlepie - congrats on the one embie on board. Hoping the TWW flys by for you and you get your much deserved bfp.

BabyDreamtime - I agree - where are all the bfps in here!! We need more!!

Kylie - Im sorry you are not feeling the best. This is a hard journey, full of ups and downs, and sounds like you were going through a down. Hope you are feeling better today. I know it is hard, but try to think positive thoughts. I believe that the power of positive thinking can affect our whole aspect. Your b/t is one day after mine, so we can tough this out together...

Rob - how are you doing today? Am thinking of you...

AFM - again, not much to report on. Cant believe I still have one week left until b/t - is time standing still? Cramping has eased though which makes me hopeful that it was implantation on not the crinone. Time will tell I guess.

Yay Cuddlepie you made it. And with your Birthday Bub as well. Wow your BT the same days as mine, it seems miles away. Although because by the 16th I'll be 18dpo, I'm going to start POAS from the 12th (which by my calculations means my little one/s will be 13 days old and should have completed implantation). AF is due around the 13th so I think POASing from the 12th should be fine.

Come on girls, lets get some BFP's in here.... I haven't seen any for a while and we need to get this thread moving into the pg one ASAP...:lol:

Someone had a BT today, was it Aleenta?????? Good luck!

Mine is on monday the 9th. No sign of AF so of course getting my hopes up ridiculously. 2nd POAS was +ve again, but could still be the PRegnyl in my system.....I kind of wish I hadn't have started the POAS routine, because I am going to crash hard on monday if it's not true. Last Pregyl was sunday morning.

Well, I'm struggling at the moment, it's too early for any signs of pg or AF, and now I'm having some negative thoughts.... I'd forgotten how hard the 2WW is.... I just want time to go quicker!!! I just want a BFP!!! A friend told me yesterday that she's pg, I am really happy for her, and if I get a BFP I'll be due a couple of weeks after her, but if I get a BFN it will be hard..... God this infertility thing is hard isn't it?

sjd - cheers to being fri 13th buddies!! After almost 3 yrs ttc I refuse to POAS. The tests are extremelly unreliable and I prefer to wait until my b/t, then there is no room for error. I just find this process works better for me. Im sorry you are sturggling - I know how you feel. Maybe do something nice for yourself this weekend to help you take your mind off all this stuff.....

Neptune - all sings are looking good for you hun. I think the pregnl hangs round for 7-10days, which is max, so it could very well be mostly out of your system by now. I am sending you lots of positive vibes....

Meredith - rememebr it is not over until it is over. And that AF symptons are very similar to early preg. Hoping AF stays away for you.....

But we are looking foreward. I contacted clinic and asked them to get FS to contact me as would like to try an FET this month if possible. Has anyone else gone from an antagonist cycle straight to an FET without a break???

My BT is Fri 13th too, so fingers, arms, legs, toes and eyes all crossed.
I'm not feeling particularly optimistic. I already feel like I can 'tell' AF is coming. Bugger it all. I keep telling myself not to talk myself into a negative result. I am still so sore after my ET. I'm waddling around like a duck.

Hi Girls,

unfortunately the BFN's continue.... I have been away for work and flat out so didn't get a chance to post until now - AF started yesterday and BT today confirmed BFN. It's funny I started to suspect about Tuesday that it hadn't worked this time.

Anyway I am back on the horse and whilst disappointed the good news is at least I got AF so I am starting straight again on FET so hopefully will be back in about 2 weeks time. I have 2 frosties left so hopefully they will thaw and stick.

I really hope to see some BFP!! Someone has to achieve one soon.... Good luck to everyone I think you are next Neptune for BT - fingers crossed.

Sorry no energy for personals right now, going to have a glass of wine before I start jabbing again tomorrow. Will catch up with everyone over the weekend

Aleenta - glad you are getting straight back on the horse. At least gives you something to look forward to

Rob - I am planning to go straight into FET if this cycle goes as i expect it. This was an antagonist cycle for me too. I think a lot of FS like you to have a mth off but my body is so haywire, i actually think it will work better to go straight into another cycle.

Rob and Aleenta - I am so sorry for you both. It's such hard news to hear. Take care ladies.. :hug::hug:

O.K Girls, this is just no good. We really need to get some BFP's happening in here. Neptune it is on you now :pray: that you start the trend.

AFM: Well couldn't really sleep on my stomach last night as it was too uncomfortable and have a really sore lower back (just like before AF). Oh well as I mentioned before I'm going to start POASing next week to see if we have anything. My mum wants me to start testing tomorrow (sunday) but I think 10dpo might be a little early so will try and hold out til at least Tuesday if I can. The only good thing is that as I live in a little country town and we don't have a supermarket or chemist. The closest one is 30 minutes away and on a hot day like today, I'm not even going to think about driving 1hr for something I know is too early to use.

Anyway girls, for our southern state girls hope you can cope with the heat today. And if we have any girls in the top end here, hope you don't get too much rain today.

Hi to everyone else. :) Hope everyone is faring in this 2W madness.

AFM: WEll I am officially mad. I have now POAS so many times I can't count. They are all strongly positive. I know that I shouldn't have started with the Pregnyl and all, but that's just what I did and I can't change it. My BT is on Monday, surely all these tests can't be still the Pregnyl from last Sunday??? Almost a week ago? I want to be excited, but I know I need the confirmation from the blood test. Feeling really dizzy, but it is very hot. I just don't know how to feel. I am going to hit the deck big time if the test is negative on Monday .

Neptune it sounds like you are UTD to me :pray:. How strong was your pregnyl shot? I think they normally give a 1500iu as a booster in the TWW, which if it was should be out of your system now. A strong POAS indicates a high HCG level.... :crossfingers:

Big hugs to Rob, Aleenta, spring. It is always hard to get a BFN but so much more so when doing AC and having so much hope riding on it. I wish you all the best in your next steps.

Ok girls, Now i AM CONFUSED :confused:

First nurse from clinic said if i had AF (which I do) she would contact FS and contact me early next week and we could go straight to FET cycle.

I got a phone call today from different nurse asking why I didn't show for blood test, I told her I got AF and what other nurse said, she then said I may have to have a month off cause it was a stimulated cycle.

Does anyone have any answers that could help me. I actually feel great now AF here all pain and cramping gone, swelling gone, I am ready to go.

Hi Rob,

They always like you to have a BT - just incase of ectopic..you can still get AF.

The doc have differing opinions regarding 'breaks'. From what I now understand they like you to have a break more for mental reasons then physical.

If you are really ok...tell this to your FS..that you are ready to go..

Dusty - yep, I did the pregnyl 1500 3 times, the last one being on Sunday the 1st Feb. First HPT was Thursday and have done one or two every day since. I'm trying to stay calm and study for uni, but it's very hard!

Hey Neptune!! That's so exciting. If it's been nearly a week that sounds promising.

I too have been doing POAS daily but my last pregnyl was on Wednesday so it could still be in my system. But... the one I did today was STRONGER than the one I did on tuesday which was only 2 days post pregnyl- and today I'm 3 days post pregnyl. I know in heart of hearts that this means nothing. But I'm still hopeful and while it's positive there's still hope!! I'm also a bit light-headed and super tired but this might all be in my head! I think I'll do another tomorrow and then BT Monday...

Bring on Monday for all of us with BT's then and heres' for positives all round!

I hope all our Vic girls didn't get caught up in any of the fires or the smoke from the fires. We were very lucky as we had no fire outbreaks around Ballarat.

AFM: Oh well, I'm so tired today. Couldn't sleep properly last night as I just couldn't get comfortable. The cramping has gone away but my lower back is killing me and I was also so thirsty last night..... Strange as I had been drinking all day as it was so hot. We have to go to the supermarket today to do some shopping before I start my new job tomorrow and I think I'm going to cave in and by some HPT's......

Neptune - ooooh I think you must be pg girl! That line should have been getting pretty weak by now if just the pregnyl. Will be waiting for you post tomorrow

LS - 3 days post pregnyl may still be bit early to tell but there is plenty of hope yet

KellyD - cramping, backache, weird feelings..... its all sent to drive us mad! Buy the HPTs but i wouldn't test for few days yet. You don't want to disapoint yourself with false negative

me - My anxiety and stress over this TWW has paled into insignifcance with the horror in Vic yesterday.
A very good friend of mine has been through hell with TTC also. She has done several rounds of IVF, fell pg last yr only to find it was ectopic and she lost a tube. Somehow fell pg miraculously naturally a few mths later only to m/c that one. Since then no luck. We went to movies yesterday to escape the heat and she was joking that she had left her DH at home on firewatch ( they live just out of city).
Later that day i get msg from her that the fires came shortly after she got home and that they had lost everything! I still don't know the full details as she was understandably hysterical when i called her but I am just devastaed for her. I know she lost her pet cow which she had tried in vain to get to saftey. It must have happened so fast as they didn't have time to get out - sheltered inside and thankfully made it through thenselves but don't think much left of the house. To add insult, its raining and cold in melb today!

meredithd that is just so awful for your friend! i've just seen some coverage from down there, it looks horrific. i'm from FNQ originally, and they are flooded in with food running low. WTF is going on with the weather gods???

AFM: have had spotting again. felt like i was getting AF a few days ago but don't now. I think she's about to arrive though, the spotting is just the preamble. am out of whack wit my cycle as the stim ivf cycle in nov put me out of time .. so i'm not sure when af is actually due. i think i ovulated about feb 28 cos they did the fet with a 5-day embie on feb 2. am praying for a miracle but seriousy doubt it will be this month.
