Thanks Beta. You gave me a little hope. Did you test before 11DPO and get nothing?
I am using the same test in pack of 3, and they have served me very well in the past, especially when I had my ectopic. I'm on the Pregnyl injections every 3 days, so very hard to work out what is going on, but despite this I will torture myself over the next few days with the tests.
Hey gals! Just checking in to make sure all y'all havent gone stark raving mad (yet).
I am still getting AF cramps and my usual sweet/savoury pmt cravings. Also my ovaries are pinging like I am about to ovulate... I am nearly 6 weeks preg now! It is almost impossible to ignore the "signs" but you really have to try because they all mean nothing until the all important BT.
Crinone mimicks pregnacy and Pregnal stays in your system up to 7 days and will make the poas turn positive.
I think the trick is just try to relax and tell yourself PUPO. Pregnant Until Proven Otherwise. The second those little embybabies are inside us, we are in fact pregnant. Go with that until there is absolute proof to the contrary.

Thanks JVol and Beata! I know, I know, the cramps could mean something else, but that doesn't stop me from getting a sinking feeling everytime I get one - still holding out a little hope while AF doesn't appear! JVol, no symptoms also doesn't mean anything from what I've been reading - especially so soon! Good luck next Friday (if you can hold on until then... I wouldn't have, but my DH banned me from POAS :rolleyes:)
I'll let you know my result tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed for you!
JVol, I didn't test until 11dpo as I thought testing any earlier was not going to show me anything. When I got my second line, it was so faint you could almost miss it. The next day it came up a tad quicker, although it was the same faintness. On the third day, it came up quicker again and it was a tad darker. On the fourth day (which ended up being my BT day as I was alrady seeing my FS) the second line came up first and then the control line, which I took as a good sign. This time the line was heaps darker. I would recommend to test on Sunday hun at the earliest, but don't freak out if you get a neg. as some girls only get the pos. on the pee stick on the day AF is due.
Redidris, my IVF nurse told me AF type cramping and implantation cramping are very similar, and especially if you have ovary pains it's a good sign as the ovaries start to pump out the progesterone when the embryo has implanted. Like Sammie, I had AF type cramping for two weeks after transfer and plenty of ovary pains up until last week.

Well, I had my blood test this morning and should know soon... but I cracked last night and did a POAS and it was positive...!!!!! Faint, but still there! I told the nurse this morning, but she said I should wait for the blood test results to be sure, though. Here's hoping!!!

Jaye Jaye, I hope you manage to stay away from the HPTs. I am driving myself insane. 10 DPO now and still nothing. Really think this one didn't work. All the best for your 2WW and hope you get through it OK.
Congratulations Redidris - very exciting
Can someone please tell me how to stop going out of my mind? My BT is on Monday. This is my sixth stimulated cycle and for each of the other 5 I have started to spot on day 13 post EPU (not including day of EPU) then AF has arrived on day 14.
Well, yesterday was day 13 post EPU and I didn't get the usual spotting and so far nothing today. However, I am a POAS addict and have tested everyday including today using very sensitive tests and they are definitely negative. Stark white.
So, I keep telling myself that AF is on the way (and I do have cramps) and to stop thinking about it but i'm finding it VERY difficult to concentrate on anything else.

Bridget both my previous IVF cycles were different. First one AF started at 13 DPO, the one after that I didn't get AF until a week after I stopped the meds, so my experience is they can be different, but on the other hand this may be a sign that things are different for you this time - and maybe a BPF! Fingers crossed for you!

Bridget, GL too sweetie, I think the lack of spotting is a good sign. Try to stay positive hun and realax as much as you can (I know what you're thinking, you wanna throw something at me!! haha) Don't believe those pee sticks 100%, some girls like me got a pos. result 11dpo and some only get it the day b/f BT. So let's just hope AF keeps away hun :pray:

Thanks everyone. I'm 99.9% sure its a BFN and I've already grieved this cycle (had an enormous sooky lala the other day). so I'm just trying not to think about because I don't want to get my hopes up. At least work is nearly over and it will be the weekend. I really haven't concentrated all day.

I'm sorry you think you got a BFN.
I haven't done any work today either - very distracted and started researching egg donation and surrogacy in India!! I really am going crazy! IVF is terrible for my work performance. Cant focus on anything properly and have made a multitude of stuff ups this last couple of weeks.
Anyway I hope you can relax on the weekend and spoilt yourself a little. Will be sending you good vibes.

Mind if I join in? I had a Blasty put back on Thursday and it's the last Frosty from my first IVF cycle.. Not looking forward to more stims if this doesn't take.. I had a tiny tinge of pink last night so already have my heart set on implantation bleed..lol.. Goodluck everyone and I hope we have something to celebrate in here soon..

Redidris, how did your BT go?
I'm still doing HPTs and still nothing. Looks like I'll be using my frosties next. Then I think one more stim cycle (and whatever frozen after that) then that will be it for us. It's just too hard and heartbreaking.

Im now joining you too. Had ET today (5 day blasto) but unfortunately doesnt look like our other four that fertilised are good enough to freeze. I still have a tiny bit of hope they might catch up over night but am pretty disappointed. I really hopes this one sticks because we cant afford to do another stim cycle and its just too much hard work. BT is on 13th August.
