Wow! congrats Alloy. Sending you best wishes for a happy and trouble free 9 months ahead.
Well done Alloy, that is fantastic!!!!:D:clap::D:D
I'm out girls. I did anothe HPT yesterday and it was negative, which I knew. Didn't have time to gt a BT as had an exam. Woke up at 4am today with the worst cramping, and AF has reared her ugly head. I knew I wasn't PG, so I"m actually pleased and can start the next IVF cycle. So you may see me back here in 2 weeks or so!
Thanks girls for you lovely support!
Neptune
Neptune - so sorry you didn't get a BFP - I hope that the next cycle brings one on!
Hi girls, thank you for all the congrats! It's still sinking in for me, and to make matters worse I woke up with a sore throat yesterday, and now have a cold/flu which is putting a bit of a dampner on my excitement.
Neptune, sorry about your bfn. It's good to see that you can start with your next IVF cycle. :crossfingers: for this cycle!!
Megsmum, I hope your side effects from the Pregnyl aren't too bad now!
Missmagpie, I know what you mean about going to the loo every 5 mintues to check for AF. I was doing that all weekend, and Monday (I couldn't get any work done). Hopefully the witch stays away for you!!
Dusty, I hope your feeling better now. I had wicked bad cramps after my stim cycle transfer in September. It turned out to be constipation (sorry if tmi) and my clinic suggested Lactulose, which helped a lot. I hope your feeling better now, and resting up.
KellyD, How exciting you have quit work! I can't wait until I finish, it takes me almost 1.5 hours to get to work via car and train, and the same home (and that can be longer, dependant on traffic). If I drive in, it's only around an hour, but the parking fees are rediculous, so I don't do that very often.
Mels, that's great that your cm has cleared up!! Maybe it was implantation spotting :goodluck: for Friday!!
 to anyone I've missed.
Neptune: So sorry about your BFN, but at least you are staying postive and able to go into a back to back cycle. You aer still a chance for you Xmas BFP.
leaping in and spreading :bluedust: :pink-babydust: for everyone
C2W & Alloy CONGRATULATIONS on your BFPs, good luck for a H&H pregnancy
back into lurking mode ... sprinkling generous amounts of :bluedust: :pink-babydust:
Neptune  I hope you are back in just a couple of weeks. All BFNs suck.
Mels: how are you tracking today? Still no AF I hope!
MissMagpie (love your name BTW!): I have friends like that too, but when I questioned them I think they really only knew once they had their BFP confirm it and had in fact been hoping it was their turn. Many women have no symptoms at all until 6 weeks.
MegsMum: Hhope the pregnyl went in fast and painlessly as possible.
JBM: hope you are staying away from the evil pee sticks and that the count down isn't dragging too much.
KellyD: two countdowns hey! may they both bring the best outcome possible.
Gargy: you still in here ;) Hope that you are staying sane and not long to go.
AFM: I have a calm feelign that the bublets are settling in for the next 9 months. No more cramping but niggles yesterday on my left hand side (ovaries?). The crinone is making me feel like AF is on the way but it is way too early for her anyway. I am finding positive affirmations each day are helping me to focus on what is possible.
Hi Dusty
Good to know you are feeling better. Who knows this TWW for all of us might be the month for BFP's with twins.
c2w & Alloy with 2 on board, 1've got 2, you've got 2. I'm sure a couple of others have as well. How fantastic would it be to have lots of double bubs in 9mths from this group.
hi girls
neptune - i'm so sorry for your bfn this month. but as you say, onto ivf next month (and a bfp before christmas)! all the best neptune
kellyD - hope you're surviving the wait...not long now!
dusty - hiya! :hello: still no AF for me, but my cm has slowed, which often means AF is on her way. I am   that AF doesn't show up. I'm still feeling quite positive. I can test on Friday!
alloy - thanks for your best wishes. i also have a cold, sore throat and a killer headache. i hope you get well soon (and I'm sure your BFP will be making you feel better!! )
AFM, thought I was having the day off today, but couldn't because we're too busy at work. Hmm, I'm not sure that 16 hour days are the best for a calm and stress-free TWW... Anyway, as long as there's no AF, I'm happy!
Mels x
Hi girls,
Neptune - So sorry to hear your news. Glad you can start another cycle straight away.
Alloy - Im glad to know Im not the only one that does that! Congrats again on your BFP!
Dusty - Glad you like my name (Im a HUGE Collingwood fan!!!) I guessed that not all women are the same when it comes to "knowing" they are pg. Glad your symptoms have settled down too.
KellyD - Hope your going well :D
Mels - Not good about working 16hr days. Glad AF has stayed away too! :crossfingers:
A BIG hello to everyone else and those girls who are lurking! :D
AFM, Had a rough night last night. Got emotional on the way home on the train. Then balled my eyes out when I got home. My poor DP! The wait is now really getting to me. Plus not getting much support at work which doesnt help. Wish I could hide away until the BT on Monday. I dont know if I should do a HPT or not.
Take care all,
Tania
tania - hang in there!! as long as there's no AF, you're still in the game! i think we have our BT's booked for Monday, so I'm going to do a HPT on Friday? That may even be slightly early. If you can hang out till the weekend, that's probably better. I hope you're feeling better.
Thanks Mels. I went to the toilet before and noticed some discolouration. Im  its not AF :crossfingers:
Yes my BT is also on Monday and AF is due Friday. I dont know if I can wait until Friday to see if she comes. The anticipation is killing me. Im feeling so low at the moment.
Thanks again for the encouragement.
Take care,
Tania
Hi all
Neptune- Sorry to hear about the BFN. Are you going straight into your next cycle? Good luck and maybe a BFP by xmas.
Alloy- Congrats on your BFP!! Great HCG numbers! We'll have to stay in touch, we're probably due pretty much at the same time. The clinic has said my EDD is around 23.07.09. Do you know yours?
Mels77- The countdown is almost over. Good luck for the 24th.
Dusty- Early on in my transfer when I was cramping lots, I found out it was constipation due to the pessaries. Hope yours has cleared up a bit.
KellyD- Hope all is well, and the countdown to finishing work doesn't drag as much as a TWW! I'm due for a scan around the 4th of Dec to see if 1 or 2 babies.
MissMagpie- I'm one of those annoying people...I said to my hubby about 4 days after the ET that I felt like I might be preg. I just felt different to all the other transfers, AIH cycles. But of course I wanted a BT to confirm! Good luck for monday- Hope AF stays away.
Nixon-Thanks for the cramping advice. I'm still getting niggles, and almost stabbing pains but I'm just trying to ignore them!
JBM- Hope all is going well and your keeping your chin up!
Megsmum- Hope your pregnyl went well. I hated those injections. I was nearly in tears each time my hubby gave me one, then I said to myself, If you think this is bad- wait till the labour! Hehe, THAT put it in perspective for me then!!
LNB and Ontrac_k- Thanks for the congrats!
I 'm going for a BT tomorrow morning to make sure levels are going up, but for now, everything looks great.I guess I have to change threads now! Hope everything goes well for every1 and hope there are BFP's all round!
Kelly, twins!!! Ah it would be a blessing for sure. Hope you are doing Ok
MissM: Completely normal to have a melt down right about now in the TWW. I hope you are feeling better today. So much tension and stuff riding on the outcome. If you can, try and focus on the fact that you are giving yourself the absolutely best chance of getting pg this month. The rest is up to nature now (and a bit of help from above if that helps). Go the Pies!!!
Mels: :noaf: is what we want to hear. Fingerscrossed and signs of AF can also means signs of being UTD.
C2W: Good luck with those levels. Thanks on the advice. I think it was constipation.
AFM: Back to work after 2 weeks off (to go to Melbourne for our cycle). Can't wait to be distracted. Am visualising my bublets as an eagle and lioness today. Strong proud and caring creatures.
xx
Hi everyone :)
Dusty - Have fun going back to work, it's always good to have a distraction in the TWW hey? What a lovely visualisation....
C2W - GL for the blood test today! LOL at your labour comment, you know I had a drip put in the back of my hand when I was in labour and didn't even notice!! All those injections with be worth it in the end though :)
Tania - :noaf: I hope that discolouration is not AF! Hang in there, maybe it could be implantation spotting.
Mels - Hope AF stays away for you!
Neptune - Sorry to hear AF arrived :( but all the very best for your upcoming cycle.
A big hi too to Alloy and KellyD and anyone else I have missed :)
AFM, not much to report, have been having heaps of pg symptoms this time around from the Pregnyl  It would be sooooo easy to convince myself that I am UTD if I didn't know any better LOL And I've got my last injection of the stuff still to go on Friday! Tis going to make for a fun weekend  But at least this is the first cycle for ages that I have felt super positive and not thinking so much about what I will do in my next cycle, hoping all the positive thinking works this time :)
girls, i'm afraid i'm leaving you. AF showed up this morning.
this really doesn't get any easier does it?
wishing you all the very best for this cycle. hope to be back here in a few weeks.
mels x
Mels: So sorry to here AF has shown up. Do you have any spare frosties to go straight into another cycle (I can't remember). I'll be thinking of you.
Dusty: I think twins would be great. But would be more than happy with 1.
JBM: How are you coping. Goign insane as yet?
Megsmum: Lots of postive thoughts coming your way......
Missmagpie: Monday can't come quick enough..
c2w: hope your numbers are growing nicely.
Alloy: I'll be watching out for your post to confirm if 1 or 2.
AFM: BB's still sore but not as bad as earlier in the week, and my lower back is still sore. Twinges in my right side and today I have had to go pee lots & lots, which is very unusual for me. Who knows what's going on, just have to wait it out a bit longer. 1 week of the TWW down, 1 to go. Think I might start POASing next Tuesday in the faint hope I get to see that elusive second line.
