I started having 'symtoms' as soon as I had EPU lol. The crinone really throws me about. I have incredibly sore boobs already, very thirsty & the odd bouts of nausea, but as I say I believe its the crinone as it started from EPU.
Oh and also an acute sense of smell lol

Morning ladies
It look like you were all busy posting last night. Welcome to the new girls in the 2WW Sorry for not replying to everyone but :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy: to all

Star-bright hope all goes well for you today :bluedust::pink-babydust:
lise thanks for your encouraging words about the cramping its just what I need to read given that its now so close
AFM well I've got 2 sleeps to go and so far not a spot in sight :crossfingers: Still feeling little twinges here and there especially when lying down have convinced myself that its my little one telling me its still with me. Was tempted to POAS today but then realised that I had run out so will try to stop myself from buying more today. I pray that I get through tomorrow cause then I think evrything might be ok for the BT on Friday
-
Morning Ladies,
I just wanted to pop back in and thank you all for your kind thoughts and well wishes. It is still sinking in but DH and I are very excited and looking forward to the future.
Terry ? I had a bit of cramping in the last 3 days before my BT. Good luck for Friday.... I hope the cramping is a good sign and we will have cause to celebrate again!
Lise - It is fantastic news. Fell free to PM me if you want to share stories or quiz symptoms etc
I will be lurking and hope to be congratulating you all soon!

Good Morning Ladies,
I've been a little quiet in this thread so far, however, have been lurking and trying to keep up with everyone. I've decided to attempt some personals today and get back into it cause the 2WW is starting to get to me.... If I miss anyone I am sorry in advance and I hope that the 2WW is treating you kindly!
terry - 2 sleeps to go - yay! Not long now.... I am always to scared to POAS although find it just as hard waiting till BT! I think twinges are good sign as didn't mitf have something similar... Good to hear no sign of AF sending you lots of :stickyvibesgirl:!
LondonMiss - I remember reading that thread about the knitting and can't remember for the life of me who it was! Good to see you are doing something to take your mind of the 2WW... I might even join the knitting crew cause I am starting to obsess over everyone twinge and cramp!
Tracy - Congrats on the ET and welcome to the 2WW wait! I am only 4dpET and am going crazy! I hope that time flies for you!
murraycod - I have been lurking :hide: a bit lately myself.... Sending you :stickyvibesgirl:!
Star-bright - Good Luck with the transfer today and sending you lots of :pink-babydust:!
airline - I'm sorry to hear that you had none left to freeze .'ing that this will be your last 2WW due to getting your long awaited BFP so no need for any snowbubs!
Loops - Have you POAS'd yet?'nig that it is a natural BFP for you!
Melttc & Meg76 - How are you both doing? Any signs or symptoms yet? I hope you are both keeping sane, I know I am starting to go a little loco, he, he!
AFM - Well, here is quick summary below of where I'm at and what has been going on so far (2 x 5 day Blasts transferred on Sat, 24 Oct):
0dpET - Transfer went well (embies did not get stuck in catheter and no blood on catheter). No symptoms at all to report. Relaxed all day and watched movies with DH...
1dpET - Started getting twinges (kinda like a quick stabbing pain) in the one spot to the right above my pubic bone (sorry TMI) and was on and off a couple of times throughout the day. Hoping that it was one of my little ones attaching and starting to burry.
2dpET - More of the same twinges in the same spot on and off. :crossfingers:!
3dpET - Uh oh, starting to feel some cramping - no! I started getting cramping 3dpET on both of my last 2 x ET's and they resulted in BFN's. Slight ray of hope though... I can't 100% confirm, but it was like the cramping was occurring just above my pubic bone (sorry TMI again) instead of higher up like AF although sometimes I wasn't so convinced and thought it was like AF.
4dpET (today) - slight cramping again and secretly hoping that it might be implantation cramps although I don't know if it is too early for that! I did read on an Chicago IVF webpage that a day 5 blastie would hatch around day 6-7 and attach to wall within hours of hatching.... dam that google, he, he!
I know it's still early days yet, but I just can't help analysing every twinge and cramp! I'm just hoping that the small differences (twinges in the same place and cramps lower down) are a positive sign!

hi ladies, just thought i would poke my head in here and say hi and congrats to the ladies who have recently got BFP. i hope to be joining this thread next cycle as DP and i are planning on giving IUI another try or two before moving onto ivf.early next year will be 5 years we have been ttc

Coral - v quick q - your post implies that sometimes the embryo does get stuck in the tube? Is that true? My goodness, think of the disappointment if you'd got that far only to have that happen!
-
LondonMiss - Unfortunately it is true as it happened to me on my 1st ET! FS had to get the scientist to re-load our little embie into another catheter and we were then able to complete the transfer. It was pretty daunting and I secretly think that it may have contributed to our BFN... surely little embies are very delicate and can easily get damaged???
I expressed my concern to FS at the time and he said it does happen (ie. they can get stuck) and that they have had BFP's out of cycles where this has happened... Still not good though in my opinion and made me stress even more!
-
Yikes -that's scary. But your symptoms all sound very promising?
My boobs hurt, and I must keep reminding myself to stop squeezing them in public  and remember that's its pregnyl!!
-
Ohhhhh... I so hope so ! I definitely have some different things going from the last two cycles so you just never know!
Ha, ha ! You made me laugh reading about you checking if you boobs are still hurting in public, he, he! I have to confess that I've been guilty of that myself before! Hopefully  it is something other than the pregnyl that is making them tender!
-
I'm so so so tired. Do you think anyone at work would notice if I got down under my desk and had a little sleep? (I should add that I work in an office, and not on a building site or in air traffic control where it would be distinctly odd!)
Any news from Loops? She must be on about day 112 of her cycle by now!
-
Hey LM, they can get stuck..but the scientist always goes to check under microscope that they haven't got stuck...I worry about her tripping on the way to popping it into my flower!:rolleyes: "NOBODY MOVE!!!!!!!"
-
Coral73 I too have had most of the symptons that you have written about so hope I do get the BFP and then you cant also take some comfort from that.
Must admit that I get really scared everytime I've had a transfer because my FS has also said that they can get stuck and she checks to make sure its clear...feel a bit dumb though haven't questioned it becuase both times its been clear::doh:
Lets curl up together and sleep LondonMiss all I want to do is go home and have DH give me one of his poor attempts at a massage to ease some of the tension instead I'm off to the outlaws for dinner:shakehead:
-
terry - I really hope so although things appear to have taken a turn for the worst for me this arvo :shakehead:.
I don't want to admit it and didn't even want to post but my cramps seem to have started to get stronger and they feel a little higher... I also had a brief dizzy spell which is a sign of my AF... I get symptoms of AF up to 5 days prior to her arrival and this is not looking good. Last fresh ET I got my period 8dpET (which would be this Sunday) and did not even make the BT.
Ooohhhh... how can I go from feeling hopeful this morning to this...:crying:. I hate the 2WW and AF is a nasty witch!
Sending you (and me!) lots of :pink-babydust: and I hope I am wrong about thinking AF is on her way for me....
-
Coral73 stay strong it could juts be the mind games...I too thought that mine was coming on a couple of days ago and then all of a sudden the next day it was all ok again and the twinges started hope this makes you feel a little better:hug:
-
Thanks terry.... has definitely made me feel a little better and I will wait and see what tomorrow brings..'ing the cramping doesn't get any worse! Will give an update tomorrow on how things go...
-
Hello all, just moving in for the next week and a half. Had transfer number 8 yesterday. I now have 2 embies on board. This was a first for us as i have only ever had single transfers but insisted on having two this time. We would be happy with either one or two but at least one :crossfingers:. Bood test is next Friday 6th November.
Looking forward to catching up with you all :D

Hey Lovely Ladies,
I've been a bit quiet on here- life has kept me busy but wanted to say hi and contribute...
Coral- I hate to ask a TMI question but could you be constipated? I spoke to my nurse on Monday about feeling a bit crampy and she said that it's the pessaries but to make sure to keep up the fluids and ensure not to get constipated as it can really exacerbate the problem. Get into the pear juice if you haven't already! We are at a very similar point and I have had AF-type cramping on and off since ET. Keep the faith, Babe.
Coral & LondonMiss- My FS also mentioned the possibility of the embryo sticking to the inside of the catheter and said that although it's only happened to him once (and that was 4 years ago), they still check every time.
Mitf- If you're still lurking, :hooray::hooray::hooray: Great work- I know how you have felt watching all those around you seemingly effortlessly popping out litters...It's finally you!!!
AFM- Things are tracking along incredibly smoothly for me and I know that should be considered a good sign but I'm wondering if it means my luck will run out soon... I'd also like to have a quick little vent about one of my closest friends, if you'll indulge me. She's one of those who falls pregnant from looking at her husband and who (as much as she loves her children) isn't too keen on motherhood. She keeps saying things like, "You'll wonder why you went through all this when you have a screaming 3 month old baby." and "You know, when you have this baby, you'll be on the phone to me asking 'what was I thinking?''" This has been going on for ages and I thought she'd have then sense to drop it now- clearly having a baby is really important to me- but she hasn't. In the past I have just ignored the comments but yesterday I said, "You know, I think when you struggle this hard to have a child, your perspective is probably a bit different." I really think it comes too easy to some people and a bit of a struggle might be a good thing in the long term. I know that when/if we have a baby, we will treasure the experience and the child so much more.
I hope you are all doing well.
xxx
P.S. Does anyone else constantly type the crazy image verification words into the title pane!?!
