hehehe - don't worry hippy mum - don't worry - i live by the motto "never give up, never surrender" - it's from some comedy movie i watched ages ago, and i just think it's apt! won't be throwing in the towel til AF arrives or the clinic nurse tells me to!
-
Thats a great attitude to have BG. Thanks for advice hippy mum, I thought I would stop stressing once I started holidqys but now I have so much time on my hands all I do is keep thinking about wether or not my embies will implant. But Im going to have to start keeping myself busy from now on so Im going to start cleqning this house from top to bottom by the end of this ttw what ever the outcome my house will be sparkiling
I startded aching again today like AF was coming even though she isnt due for 6 more days. I normally get really sore boobies around now so I know she is coming but so far I havent.
How is everyone else feeling today I hope your having a great weekend....
-
hi everyone!!!! collo04 i hopr AF dosnt get here......... i had my transfer yesterday, it was horriable, it was my first FET (i was on medication) and they couldn't get embies though my cervix cause of musle being to hard so they had to give a local anaesthetic so she could move my cervix, i was thinking going in that this was going to be the easy bit, has any one had this as well???? would love to hear your stories, hope everyone is hanging in there i have got 11 days to go............
-
i had an IUI not an FET - but similar process for inserting the "sample" i think - and i came very close to needing intervention cos my cervix wouldn't cooperate - ended up having to apply heaps of pressure on my abdomen to straighten it out and allow the IUI to go ahead - the nurse was getting very concerned that they'd have to do something more drastic!
sorry to hear it was painful vanessa - hope it all turns out to be worth the discomfort when you get a BFP in 11 days time- GL!
-
Wow mine was a little uncomfortable this time but nothing like tat, How did you recover?
Vanessa, I really hope the TWW goes fast for you and all the trouble you had getting the little eggies will soon be forgotten when you get that BFP. Keep in touch
-
Well girls it is good bye for now, AF came this morning and was gutted. I will be sitting on the couch with a water bottle and i am taking a month off from the pain with a few Naprogesics. I hate taking them, but it has been a rough month and i need a break, lame i know! Anyway, on hte couch and watching the Princess Diana concert. Wish i was there, it has been brilliant.
Good luck everyone and will see you in a couple of weeks with another TWW.
BG, Hee hee, good to hear, glad you weren't needing a kick up the butt. Sometimes i might need it though and i will call on you to give it!! Good luck babe and speak to you again soon. Hopefully BFP for you!
Collo and Vanessa and all the other girls, fingers crossed. It sounds like a bit of an ordeal but you right once holding htat baby in your arms, all will be forgotten.
All my love
Jodie, Hippy MUM

Hi all,
Just wanted to let you know that it's all been worth it. I know some of your journey's have been and are a lot longer than mine, but i want you to believe that miracles DO happen. You have been inspirational, your stories, your experiences and your advice. Wonderfully, I received the call this afternoon - BFP! We are over the moon! I wish all of you the best for the remainder of your TWW's. Thanks again.
-
First of all Im so sorry hippymum that AF arrived, it just seems to take a little something away from you everytime an attempt fails. Dont loose youe spark someday it will happen we have to believe that or we would all be in lala land.
Kimbe:
WOW!! That is fantabulous news. I can only imagine how you are feeling it must be the best feeling in the world. Thanks for your words of advice and encouragement I wish you a very happy and healthy pregnancy.....
For me my cramps worsened over night so I rang the nurse and she said there is nothing they can do but at least they are beginning to see a pattern emerging. So maybe we will get some answers. I have no symptoms apart from weeing heaps and cramping down low in my adomen. Did you have this KImbe ?im searching and hoping this is a good sign. AF is due in 5 more sleeps and I hope she stays the hell away for once......
-
Kimbe - congratulations hun!!! that's great news
Hippy Mum - sorry to hear the witch showed up
Collo - hold in there hun - 6 days shouldfly for you! hoping the frequent pee breaks are a good sign
as for me - i don't feel like i'm pg anymore - and i'm not stressing about it - just plodding along until Wednesday's blood test. time will tell i guess. at least my emotions are on an even level at the moment - which DH is so very thankful for!!
-
Thanks Briggys girl I saw your post in my panic thread :) It helps to talk about this. DH was in a really good mood today until I told him I was aching again and that I didnt think it was going to work. and then for the rest of the day he was snappy and not very talkative. I didnt put the two together because I thought he was cranky at me for maxing out the credit card again, but thats another issue, actuallly had a card burning ceremony it was hard letting go but somehow watch my card burn was a releif at least now I cant spend up a storm...
I dont feel pregnant either just wird I guess. Maybe this is a good sign for both of us. I just hate seeing my beautiful husband disappointed all the time he deserves the world and I just cant give it to him. ah well Im going to bed before I start babbling on tomorrow is day cd24 not long now till D DAY......:fertilise::fertilise::fertilise:

-
hi everyone!!!!!! Dont give up girls until you know for shore......... i have got a cold and was woundering if anyone knows if it's safe to use vick rub???????? 9 days to B/T and why are you girls saying you don't feel PG any more have your symptoms gone away????
-
Hi Vg I dont feel pregnant because I havent really had any symptoms to begin with. I started spotting today as usaual it normally starts between 4-7 days before AF arrives. So I guess all that aching I was feeling was like a miniature War of The Worlds inside my uterus. Why cant something go right for us, I just feeling like we are in this holding pattern and there is no sign of the fog ever lifting.. Sorry to sound so sad but Im just very disapointed yet again.
Goodluck to everyone else I really hope someone gets BFP really really really soon.

Collo04, i can't imagine what you are feeling, but you asked whether i had cramping. I did have a few on/off days at work where i experienced stabbing like pains in my lower abdomin beginning in the week after ET, which i continue to feel now depending upon how i sit and for how long, so who knows what they mean. I hope for you the spotting isn't AF rearing her ugly head for you, you have been such a strong and positive force in here - not to mention that us mountain girls need to stick together! All fingers, toes and limbs crossed for you!
Vanessa G, I have had the worst chest, throat, synal flu/cold since ET and couldn't find a generic cold/flu tablet which didn't raise concern for pregnancy, so i used Vicks on and off, especially during this last week, both directly on my chest and as an inhalent in steam. I got the BFP yesterday, so, I think it's ok to say that it hasn't negatively impacted on my journey...though, it also hasn't helped to relieve any of the horrible flu like symptoms!
Briggsy's girl...hope BT goes well for you! Some day's i did and some day I didn't have the preg feeling's, and to be honest i still don't really have them. Remember our body's are all unique and it's the HPT's and BT's that matter, not the immediate physical sensations we experience! Good Luck
-
hugs Collo - but hun, please don't give up just yet - hold onto that little thread of hope - i mentioned in your other thread the possibility of implantation - and some people have implantation bleeds hun, so it's not necessarily over just yet
i'll hold onto that little thread of hope for you hun!
-
Thanks girls I hope you are right. Hey Bg wishing you all the best with your blood test sweet cheeks.
