LTTTC Two Week Wait Thread #5

Hi all...

Good luck to everyone... who i due for a BT? We need to make a list, we used to have one, sushee used to do it, but I guess Mods have a lot of work, so who wants to make a list so that I can keep track?!?!? lol

Shannon: no worries bout the Q's... I got some answers which said that they don't matter, so that actually made me feel better, as my temps are STILL flat. Well, at least they're not going down right lol.
Good luck with your TWW. I laughed at you walking funny so they don't fall out... I do that after IUI. Actually after teh first one I freaked out that maybe they didn't know where to go, and were swimming down and out of me, instead of up and in!!!! It was funny!!! I also worried about making Shel pregnant... hahahahaha.

runnermum: Big hugs... I really hope this is your month... you know a lot of people say that they're never more sure that AF is one the way than when they're pregnant... I just hope this is you!!!!!

As for me: EEEEEEK! I have spotting! I don't think its AF either, shes never early!!!! Maybe its implantation!!!??? It is also mixed in with ALOT of creamy mucous (sorry TMI I know). I am 10DPO today... thats not too late for implantation is it? Ooooooo... how exciting...

I am also having come cramps... do you get cramps with implantation? They aren't really painful, just a bit here and there.

Also.. no crying yet! Yay!!! Have been really queasy the last few days, BBs not sore yet, back is KILLING me (could be related to all the housework I did that last few days... note to self... don't do housework! lol :cryinglaugh:), and I am peeing a lot also.... and alot of gas (lol, again, sorry TMI!!!)

I might be pregnant. Can I ger excited now?!?!?!?! :lol:

Why not leasha ... it is better to be excited!!! The more positive you are the better! You go girl - keep it up you have every right to be! We all should be positive!
Good idea re. list of BTs. When is yours? Mine is 28/9!!!
I also have had some cramping, yesterday and today. This morning at 6.30am! Great. Probably a side effect of the crinone ... but felt like a massive period cramp. Normally I get twinges leading up to AF not cramps! Who knows! I'd like to believe its all a positive sign and means my little embie is implanting itself! Implant away!! Yay!

Shan ... I felt the same after ET! Then my acupuncturist explained that the crinone - progesterone is like a mucous the seal cervix so it blocks it! Like the reverse of the pill IFYKWIM. Felt good to know that my little embie was floating around and could then visualise it for the first time as couldnt before then!

hope this is the one leasha!

me - have had major back pain, really sore tummy and very grumpy attitude plus big appetite for last two days. usual signs of AF. but........ HPT this morning shows a slightly stronger positive than sunday and considering i only had transfer last thursday i dont expect really dark BFP's.....

this is all new as my previous pregnancies were natural, so i didnt know i was pregnant for at least a month. so i may have had the pains before and just thought it was AF. im hoping its my embie playing havoc with my insides!!! will test on morning of BT. this Saturday!!!! so close i can almost touch it!!!!!!

Lol girls I'm still happy to upkeep a list, but yes I've been busy so can everyone pls help me out by PMing me your BT dates when you join the thread?

digital HPT this morning said PREGNANT within 60 secs!!!! BT in 2 days, please please be a sticky little embie and hold on tight!!!! still have constant cramping, and im not on any crinone... must be coz of hormonal changes. im off to google all i can about early pregnancy symptoms...

Mon... 11DPO here. And symptoms... well i peed about 7 million times today! Annoying, but very exciting. And my nipples hurt... I put my bra on and almost cried when it brushed my nipples!! Lots of nausea in the afternoon, none in the moring though... AND extra especially exciting news... no crying yet. and im due in 5 days, and usually I am a wreck with tears. All I want to do today is sleep. I was asleep by 8.30 last night. lol! If I'm not pregnant then I dunno WHAT my bodies doing.

I want to take a vote....should I test? I have been strong in saying "no, no testing this time" and don't even HAVE a test here. BUT I really want to now!!! Should I???

Leasha - if your gonna test, get the best test you can buy. i think crystal clear midstream stix and clearblue stix are pretty good. gawd, it sure sounds like pregnancy to me............

Mon our 2 were day 3's. How are you feeling has the cramping eased up?

Me: 12DPO and today is awful. I feel awful. I woke up ravenously hungry, but STUPID STUPID me didn't eat cos it was 5.30am, and now I am sitting here trying not to gag with my stomach doing flips again. BBs starting to hurt, but my nipples arent hurting as much today. My temp went up by .1 which isn't much, but at least its not down. My coffee tastes like crap, but I think thats cos I made it wrong... too much coffee not enough milk. Oh, and Shel reckons my nipples are huge compared to normal, which is exciting. I haven't cried once yet!!!! Wooo! And I don't know if this is relevent, but normally my face is popping with pimples now (sorry TMI) and it is clear. Which is great! I can live with that!

So, I might buy a good test on Saturday, people are saying LC ones are good, along with Clear Blue, so I'll look into it. Can you buy the LC ones at a shop? Its just cos I've noticed a lot of people saying they ordered them...?

Leasha, sounds like promising symptoms !!! How exciting !! I'm also 12 dpo, had a bit of very mild background cramping a few days ago which made me a bit depressed that AF might be on the way.. nothing further yesterday or today though. BBs just a bit sore but I'm puting it down to the pregnyl (last injection was Wed, one more to go tomorrow). No spotting which is GREAT coz it might mean that at least my hormones are holding good levels (previous cycles I'd sometimes spot from 4 days before AF due). Re the HPT, it's hard to resist temptation isnt' it? I've made a pact with myself that I will definately NOT test.. I'm too afraid of a false positive, and getting my hopes up. I'm hanging out for my BT.. but AF is due this weekend - :SAAF: :SAAF: :SAAF:

Hi deni, just wondering, do you temp? I hope you get the BFP!!!!! AF is due on Tuesday for me...

I haven't been temping this cycle Leasha, but I must admit, I'm tempted to temp... if it's a high temp tomorrow that'd give me a good indication of a possible bfp coming my way .. but I'm not sure if it would still be influenced by the pregnyl injections (the Hcg stimulates my body to produce more oest and progest). So I might put away my thermom and just wait it out, as hard as it is !!!
But your chart is looking very promising, particularly as you're not having any supplements are you ?

Hi deni.... if by supplements you mean pregnyl or HCG boosters, then nope. Nothing since the trigger to pop the eggies out. I am pretty pleased, even though the temps are flat (worry worry worry worry lol). I guess the next few days will be the test... I am hoping that they go up!!!!!

I am still deciding if I will test... maybe on Tuesday... though its getting harder and harder as I feel more and more pregnant!

had my BT this morning...

Sore BB's still (thanks Crinone) and nausea kicking in! I get this in every TWW and they think i have been miscarrying early so hopefully these two are snuggling in tight!!

Leasha how are you going, did you test today as planned?

I have a feeling that AF might come - she's officially due today - if doesn't come today then I'll be officially "late"... but one unusual thing is my BBs are far sorer than they've been before... but I'm not having any other symptoms like fatigue or nausea or anything. Having not had the hormones before (or been pregnant before) i have no idea what to expect ie what is caused by the hormones / what might potentially be pregnancy. It's so frustrating... Just want to know already !!!

3 sleeps til my BT. I'm considering about asking for my BT tomorrow morning instead, so I know after my progesterone result if I need to purchase and pack progesterone pessaries for my adelaide trip (we leave on Tuesday)... I wonder if they'd let me? I'll be 14 dpo tomorrow.

:SAAF: CD30-15DPO... Dunno what the heck my bodies up to now...my temps dropped a bit... a lot compared to what it was, but not under the coverline... I dunno. I caved and did a test today which was a BFN. Not even a hint of a line, and it was a Confirm. AF is due tomorrow, so I'm just praying that its because the level wasnt high enough to be detected. I have all the signs, and no AF signs... *sigh* this TWW is hard!

Deni... You probably could have the BT today. I see my Dr tomorrow, and have the BT Wednesday. I'm not gonna have it early cos I'm due tomorrow, but if you were due for Af yesterday, then I reckon go for it!

EDIT: I just got some spotting, so I think I'm out. :cry:
EDIT #2: Officially out for this cycle... AF is here with a vengance... well at least I won't have it on my bday... I guess thats a plus...

Me very confused!! I need some advice if anyone could help. Last Friday I had my blood test on Day 21 to confirm I had ovulated and to start Synarel. Well I got a little shock when the nurse phoned with the results stating I hadn't ovulated yet, so I would be a week late with ovualtion even though my period also turned up on the day it was due. Our doctor phoned back and said I was going to Ovulate on Saturday. I woke up yesterday morning feel very nauseas but it didn't last long so I thought nothing of it. But then today I have spotting, What's going on!! I am now thinking would the blood test show up on Day 21 if I had ovulated if I have fertilisation had occured previously? Today is about right for implantation bleeding if I was to ovulate at the time my husband and I thought which was about a week ago!!

Please help, I am totally confused

my name is jodie and i live in brisbane ... hope you don't mind me joining you ?

We are currently on our 1st FET cycle from our 2nd full stim of IVF ..

ET was tuesday 18th september with 2 blasto's .. 1 already hatched the other a comptacting morulla (within hours away of becoming a blasto) ..

i am feeling really down atm :( ... very tired .. and not coping very well at all .. this 2 week wait is really driving me up the wall and quickly ! .. i've had funny niggly pain since 24 hours after transfer .. some stabbing pain in my left and side that lasted for approx 5-10 seconds each stab and each instance lasted approx 2 mins ..

i think i started getting AF like pain over the weekend about 3pm on saturday .. right down low .. but then it went as quick as it came ... i'm just not sure what to think :(

i feel really alone and isolated atm and i am looking for some support to get me through till BT next Tuesday 2nd Oct .....

I would also like to CONGRATULATE those who have got BFP's during september :D

Nat, you poor girl that's so confusing. It might be worth discussing it all again with the nurse, especially if you're waiting to start Syrynal. Is it OK to start syrynal if you've already had a possible conception? I dont know anything about that sorry.. But all the best anyway !!

Leasha - sorry to hear about the spotting hun :hugs: - but something I've learnt from being a member of bellybelly is that girls on here experience ALL sorts of weird things on their chart and still can end up with a BFP !! Weird temperature dips PLUS bleeding and cramping, for example (I can't remember the link but it's on conception general discussion 9 or 10 pages back, look for a post by Tonydal (I'm not sure if I got the spelling right). Anyway, :crossfingers: you still get that BFP!

I'm officially late today, having never reached 15dpo before, but dont want to get too excited yet as I know the injections can delay AF. I've got a holiday to Adelaide tomorrow so it's great to have that as a bit of a distraction!

PS - welcome, Jodie !! Hope those niggly pains end up to be some great news in two weeks' time!!

Hi Jodie - how you are feeling pretty much sums up most of us that have been or currently are in the dreaded TWW. BB is fabulous for support and i know without the girls and guys here i would not have learnt half as much or been as strong. congrats on the transfer. when is your Blood Test? i have had pain in my abdomen since a day after transfer and i am now 4 1/2 weeks pregnant. so please honey, try not too read too much into each and every little feeling...(i know its hard not to though) hope you are feeling happier soon. take care

Leasha - Confirm pregnancy tests always gave me BFP's. maybe try crystal clear midstream sticks. they gave me my BFP before confirm gave me BFN's IYKWIM?

sonya - my BT is the 2nd Oct - 1 week from tomorrow and i'm going insane .. i've noticed now when i bend over i get like a really strong stich in either my right of left side and it really hurts ... oh well only time will tell ... CONGRAT'S on the BFP !

pkgjmg: Yep, I rang the clinic today and the dr is thinking about FSH injectibles for the next cycle, starting CD3, got an appt. tomorrow morning to find out. But if it doesn't happen in the next cycle we might take a breather for a month, or go two more cycles and have a two month break and start again in the new year... dunno yet... its more stressful than we imagined, and we've been doing PCOS treatment and fertility investigations since March so it would be nice to just give my body (and mind!) a break for a month soon.

No worries sonya... I was all ready to go down the shop ad get some early test ones, I was so sure, and then AF came and spoilt my day.

Deni: too bad you cant do a HPT... I'm excited for you!!!!!

Feeling really down and ****ed off! My TWW is over! got the dreaded AF this morning! Last night when I did the crinone I noticed a bit of blood (sorry if TMI) and had been feeling strange all day (plus had a blind zit appear under my lip on Sat) ... had a feeling it was AF but didnt want to believe it. Woke up with AF pains at 5am and 6am, but didnt want to get up and go the bathroom. Had no choice at 7am! So really **** start to week and am in pain!
Sorry for lack of personals! Do hope every1 is well! Was really hoping this would be it for me! And its not, so I am totally gutted!
I think i will take some time out from this, as have no embies that made it to be frozen and the thought of doing another cycle is all too much at the mo.! I hate this! Anyway sorry for the rant.

Oh Mon :hugs: I got AF this morning too, it sucks so much... No need to apologise for your rant... I have a similar one on my blog for this morning, using very similar words!!!!! lol. It is a $hit start to my week too... thought I would have the week of my life... unfortunately not. Genlte hugs for us both :hugs: I do know what you mean about another cycle too... even though this is only my second actual cycle... after months of Drs appts every week and X-rays, operations, scans, and BTs, I'm ready for a break too... One more go, and we'll be taking a breather I think. Give it another go only if/when you're ready. :hugs:

Mon - I am so sorry! I think that with all that we go through with TTC we should be aloud to get angry every now and then

As for me the nurses have left a message for me to come in and have another blood test tomorrow. They aren't very helpful though as I wanted to ask them a few questions as to why am I spotting like its implantation bleeding if they say my levels show I haven't ovulated yet??? I am awaiting for my FS to phone me back as he is great with answering my questions. I just get a little annoyed with the nurses as they give you the vibe that they are too busy for your questions

I'm still without AF, but feeling quite crampy tonight... not too painful which is just as well because I can't find my naprogesic... so, I dont know, I guess AF might come after all, just a day or two later than expected. I still hope not though! No sign of spotting at all so far so I'm hoping that's a good sign she'll stay away from me!

Not tempted to HPT as tomorrow morning I have a 6am flight to Adelaide for our holiday and should be nicely distracted once I get there! then the following morning is the blood test anyway!! I tell you girls - if I get a positive on the BT, I'm going to bl@@y well buy a HPT just so I can see that @#$! second line that's been blank since I started this TTC thing. But if AF comes well I guess I'll just have to wait a bit longer !

So sorry I'll be away for awhile girls (we're on holidays for 10 days) but I'll try and get to an internet cafe so I can check up on you all !! (and dont worry I'll share my BT news as soon as I can get to a computer - hopefully it'll be good news!) :crossfingers:

Well, I am a little down today. I went back to the FS to have another blood test this morning as I had some spotting yesterday morning and thats it. I was really shocked as last Friday I had my Day 21 appoint and I still haven't ovulated, so why am I spotting. I was hoping that it could be a sign of implantation but I am not getting my hopes up. My results from BT on Day 21 were Progesterone 2 and Oestregon 23. Does anyone know what this all means with bleeding occuring on yesterday, no ovulation and these levels?? My period wouldn't be due until end of next week if I haven't ovulated. But by my calender for a 28 day cycle I should be due this week. I am pretty sure Progesterone would need to be alot higher than that for pregnancy

Sorry for rambling, I hate getting these mixed signals
