LTTTC Two Week Wait Thread #5

Hi Gals!

Great to join you all in 2WW.

I had my ET on Friday and my BT is due on the 28/9 - am hoping AF doesnt show up! According to embriologist my embie should have implanted today. HAvent felt any different. Felt a bit off today, but reckon that could be the fact that was back at work ... he he!
Even before EPU I started getting really sensitive nipples and my BBs are so sore! Is anyone experiencing that?
And also after EPU I have been in pain for a few days after that. Not so bad today, but the minute my bladder is full or have wind (sorry if TMI), it feels like it presses on my ovaries and kills! Day of EPU was really bad! Could hardly straighten out and walked like a nanna!
Has anyone experienced that?
So many questions! And finally ... can you still BD after using the crinone gel! Our BD life has turned to mush during this IVF cycle!

Deni... how are you going? Any symptoms you can compare to mine? lol :cryinglaugh:

Mon: I have read that you have to wait for two hours after the gel is applied before you can BD, but I haven't used it so I wouldn't know! I hope someone can clear it up!

Me: 9DPO today... feeling a bit off, tired but our bedroom is poorly positioned and the sun shines right in at 6am, hence the reason I am posting so early. My temps have been doing some funny flatlining... anyone else had this? What does everyone think of my temps? I'm worrying about my chances of being pregnant... silly temps, went all over the place before O, and now they decide to even out! I so hope this IUI worked! I am thinking I will know within a few days (I posted this on my blog too lol) if I am not, as I will be a blubbering mess! About a week before AF, I get the uncontrolable urge to cry about EVERYTHING. Seriously. Everything. And anything. And nothing!!!! So, we will see. As soon as I start crying hysterically I'll know its all over for this cycle...

Oh, and I have a question. For those who monitor their cervix (anyone on here do that?) what should it be like if you are pregnant, or of you are about the get AF? Just wondering... I know it should be high and soft arounf ovulation... dunno about the rest of the cycle.

Good question Alisia about the cervix. I believe that most of the time around AF you feel dry but not sure about the position - not so high I suppose (opposite to ovulation). I seem to remember when I was pregnant with my first, I had some mucus around the time AF was due, which is unsual for me, but some women don't get this.

As for me, well AF is due any day now (from tomorrow) and give myself .01% of being pregnant...my BT is not until Monday, but there is NO way I am pregnant....I have NO symptons, I got 'the pimple', don't feel tired, no sore breasts, nothing. I don't have hold out any hope this time.

I have 3 frosties left - all the grade 1 embyros are now used up......(i know I was lucky to have 4 of them) but still it did not make any difference. What is going wrong ? I ask myself. I have mild endo, but did not have a problem with TTC#1, my hubby 's sperm is just fine.

It has been just over 2 years now of #TTC our number 2. I never imagined this would happen, and all of you on this thread probably feel this way too.........I wish we could all wave that magic wand, because it just does not seem fair.

Alisia - all the VERY best to you. Kazza - how are you feeling? Mon - VERY best to you this month - remember that the cronine gel does give you preg symptons (I was so fooled).

Mon congrats on the transfer and a big yes to the sore BB's that is a lovely side affect of the crinone!
As for the pressure yes on that one 2 i kept going to the bathroom when i didn't need to. :) And as for BDing we were just told whenever we felt comfortable after Transfer. Have fun!

Leasha - good luck hun! Sorry i have no idea about the temping or cervix monitoring sorry i cant be much help but i would be interested in hearing what you find out. :)

Runnermum - Oh hun dont give up just yet, i know its hard and very draining and frustrating i will be hoping and crossing my fingers for you!!

As for me well just trying to kick back and relax and think positively. Must admit im quite enjoying this TWW after having OHSS i feel so much better than before. I caught the train this morning and i know its stupid but all i could think was walk slow so they dont fall out :) My husband says im special :P
Had my acupuncture last night which was really nice and booked in again for Thursday. 15 1/2 days to go until BT!!

Good luck to everyone... who i due for a BT? We need to make a list, we used to have one, sushee used to do it, but I guess Mods have a lot of work, so who wants to make a list so that I can keep track?!?!? lol

Shannon: no worries bout the Q's... I got some answers which said that they don't matter, so that actually made me feel better, as my temps are STILL flat. Well, at least they're not going down right lol.
Good luck with your TWW. I laughed at you walking funny so they don't fall out... I do that after IUI. Actually after teh first one I freaked out that maybe they didn't know where to go, and were swimming down and out of me, instead of up and in!!!! It was funny!!! I also worried about making Shel pregnant... hahahahaha.

runnermum: Big hugs... I really hope this is your month... you know a lot of people say that they're never more sure that AF is one the way than when they're pregnant... I just hope this is you!!!!!

As for me: EEEEEEK! I have spotting! I don't think its AF either, shes never early!!!! Maybe its implantation!!!??? It is also mixed in with ALOT of creamy mucous (sorry TMI I know). I am 10DPO today... thats not too late for implantation is it? Ooooooo... how exciting...

I am also having come cramps... do you get cramps with implantation? They aren't really painful, just a bit here and there.

Also.. no crying yet! Yay!!! Have been really queasy the last few days, BBs not sore yet, back is KILLING me (could be related to all the housework I did that last few days... note to self... don't do housework! lol :cryinglaugh:), and I am peeing a lot also.... and alot of gas (lol, again, sorry TMI!!!)

I might be pregnant. Can I ger excited now?!?!?!?! :lol:

Why not leasha ... it is better to be excited!!! The more positive you are the better! You go girl - keep it up you have every right to be! We all should be positive!
Good idea re. list of BTs. When is yours? Mine is 28/9!!!
I also have had some cramping, yesterday and today. This morning at 6.30am! Great. Probably a side effect of the crinone ... but felt like a massive period cramp. Normally I get twinges leading up to AF not cramps! Who knows! I'd like to believe its all a positive sign and means my little embie is implanting itself! Implant away!! Yay!

Shan ... I felt the same after ET! Then my acupuncturist explained that the crinone - progesterone is like a mucous the seal cervix so it blocks it! Like the reverse of the pill IFYKWIM. Felt good to know that my little embie was floating around and could then visualise it for the first time as couldnt before then!

me - have had major back pain, really sore tummy and very grumpy attitude plus big appetite for last two days. usual signs of AF. but........ HPT this morning shows a slightly stronger positive than sunday and considering i only had transfer last thursday i dont expect really dark BFP's.....

this is all new as my previous pregnancies were natural, so i didnt know i was pregnant for at least a month. so i may have had the pains before and just thought it was AF. im hoping its my embie playing havoc with my insides!!! will test on morning of BT. this Saturday!!!! so close i can almost touch it!!!!!!

Lol girls I'm still happy to upkeep a list, but yes I've been busy so can everyone pls help me out by PMing me your BT dates when you join the thread?

digital HPT this morning said PREGNANT within 60 secs!!!! BT in 2 days, please please be a sticky little embie and hold on tight!!!! still have constant cramping, and im not on any crinone... must be coz of hormonal changes. im off to google all i can about early pregnancy symptoms...

Mon... 11DPO here. And symptoms... well i peed about 7 million times today! Annoying, but very exciting. And my nipples hurt... I put my bra on and almost cried when it brushed my nipples!! Lots of nausea in the afternoon, none in the moring though... AND extra especially exciting news... no crying yet. and im due in 5 days, and usually I am a wreck with tears. All I want to do today is sleep. I was asleep by 8.30 last night. lol! If I'm not pregnant then I dunno WHAT my bodies doing.

I want to take a vote....should I test? I have been strong in saying "no, no testing this time" and don't even HAVE a test here. BUT I really want to now!!! Should I???

Leasha - if your gonna test, get the best test you can buy. i think crystal clear midstream stix and clearblue stix are pretty good. gawd, it sure sounds like pregnancy to me............

Mon our 2 were day 3's. How are you feeling has the cramping eased up?

Hi all... yeah thats what I was thinking sonya... getting the best... and getting two lol! not the cheapy ones this time lol.

Me: 12DPO and today is awful. I feel awful. I woke up ravenously hungry, but STUPID STUPID me didn't eat cos it was 5.30am, and now I am sitting here trying not to gag with my stomach doing flips again. BBs starting to hurt, but my nipples arent hurting as much today. My temp went up by .1 which isn't much, but at least its not down. My coffee tastes like crap, but I think thats cos I made it wrong... too much coffee not enough milk. Oh, and Shel reckons my nipples are huge compared to normal, which is exciting. I haven't cried once yet!!!! Wooo! And I don't know if this is relevent, but normally my face is popping with pimples now (sorry TMI) and it is clear. Which is great! I can live with that!

So, I might buy a good test on Saturday, people are saying LC ones are good, along with Clear Blue, so I'll look into it. Can you buy the LC ones at a shop? Its just cos I've noticed a lot of people saying they ordered them...?

Leasha, sounds like promising symptoms !!! How exciting !! I'm also 12 dpo, had a bit of very mild background cramping a few days ago which made me a bit depressed that AF might be on the way.. nothing further yesterday or today though. BBs just a bit sore but I'm puting it down to the pregnyl (last injection was Wed, one more to go tomorrow). No spotting which is GREAT coz it might mean that at least my hormones are holding good levels (previous cycles I'd sometimes spot from 4 days before AF due). Re the HPT, it's hard to resist temptation isnt' it? I've made a pact with myself that I will definately NOT test.. I'm too afraid of a false positive, and getting my hopes up. I'm hanging out for my BT.. but AF is due this weekend - :SAAF: :SAAF: :SAAF:
