Oh BW...sorry to hear about the O change...you poor thing! Really hoping that you will have some really good news soon. Here's hope time flies in the next week or so, so you are able to have some holidays and take some good time for yourself.
Willow...wishing you all the best with the outcome of BD-fest...I know what you mean about temping post-O...it IS an obsession...for the last three nights I've dreamt about temping, for what seems all night!

Hey Monnie, Willow and BeiBei, Dh is ok. He had to stay in overnight so we have not long walked in the door. We will find out how it all went in January when he goes for another xray and sees his specialist. Thankyou for asking about him:) .
As for me still no af. Haven't tested again either. I don't htink I will for a while.

Monnie- Yeah I am ok. Just had a look at your chat still looking good. I know what you mean about dreaming about temping I do the same thing but I prefer to temp after O as I know if I am getting AF and it gives me a day or two to prepare myself for it.
Willow- Good luck hope your TWW flies.

Monnie, we used pre-seed too. I find it to be quite good. TBH (and maybe TMI), I am not a "luby" girl at the best of times, so I also find myself needing a little extra help in that department. And to be on scheduled BD.....well, it made things even worse! But yeah, the cost is a little steep to use all the time. Although I see on Lullaby Conceptions (the last time I bought PreSeed), they now have little packs for "normal" use - mainly for the outside. And they're cheaper.

Mako, I think I've missed what your DH needed surgery for... I hope his recovery continues to be smooth and quick.
Willow, I hope you get good news tomorrow too. Although, finding myself in a fairly similar position, I'm not so sure that hearing you need IVF is such a bad thing, but I can imagine it would still be upsetting.
Monnie, it's ok about the O change... I don't believe I did, or will... I'll be talking about if/when to start provera with my acupuncturist on Friday afternoon.
I'm so sleepy right now... it was way too hot to sleep properly last night, I've had a fairly full-on day at work, and then went to meet some friends after work - one of whom had come up from Melbourne! It was good, but I'm just so exhausted! I think that despite the tiredness I'll have to take advantage of tonight's coolness and give DH some attention... I think he's been feeling a little neglected this week, and he'll be out tomorrow night. He's picked up a free-lance audio job on Sydney Harbour for tomorrow night - 4-12, $25 per hour... nice!

I have been around and checking in on you all but I have been a bit preoccupied with other stuff.
Willow - I so well know the obsessing that goes on after ovulation time... I hope this is the last tww you have for a long time.
I am on cd5 today so have just taken my fourth clomid. So far I feel and seem great!
Follie scan next Tuesday - I of course am really looking forward to that. I can't wait to see what follies I have "grown" for the month.
Now where is Debbie? It must nearly be testing time for you??? I am thinking of you... :hug:

WELCOME to all our new guys!! i am so looking forward to seeing you and seeing you move out ( in the BEST BFP way !)
I've been MIA for so long but think it's time i posted I am still having ups and downs- well after my miscarriage in oct i had a natural 31 day cycle :eek: so this month i am back on the clomid though and am on day 20. I think i o'ed on day 16-17 but htis month i have had no ewcm to speak of and my pre-seed only arrived last night so i think we've missed the boat this month :crying:
The month i conceived i felt a massive O pain adn had ewcm - so i just feel i'm out of the running and am devastated. i would so love a chrismans baby,
Dh was like how do you know i and said " i just do" it's so differetn form teh month i concieved :crying:
BW- are we the only ones who are still here for about 6 months?? We NEED to get a move on.
ALSO - aq i had my scan on day 11 with a 11mm follie - we BD that night and then missed 2 days and then twice the day after- what do you guys reckon?? i normally O in days 18/19

We also decided to order some pre-seed today, to see if it makes a difference when we start again next month. We had no idea that normal lubricants like KY could affect sperm and therefore the chances of conceiving. Gee, where did I miss that lesson? My DH is so keen to get back into BDing, but I'm still bleeding 10days after my d&c, so I am managing to keep him at bay for a little longer. Like most men I am sure, he is always whinging about how much BDing we do - and I have to remind him that I have proof, in my charting,of how many times over the last 3+ yrs, so he had better stop complaining :P

Mako - I hope your DH is feeling better now. Stay strong it's hard having to deal with our 'lot' and just adds to the stress when you are faced with other major things.
ktgirl - you poor pet, sounds as though you are chasing your tail in the 2ww!!! Hope you haven't gone mad yet..Fingers crossed for you! If I could use the emoticons I would choose the yellow face praying.. how are you feeling?
Our scan was this morning - we have one beautiful 17mm follicle! That is the most mature, but there were heaps of small ones (like 22 on right and >10 on left) But we only need one!!! FS sent us away with a special brand of OPK - must be special because they costed a bomb.. I guess that means we don't dtd until we get the LH surge...right?
Flowerchild - best of luck for Tuesday, I hope this round is successful for you.
Princess - try not to lose hope, you may be pleasantly surprised!

Missbelinda...know what you mean about "missing the lesson" on lubricants...who (in their right mind) makes a lubricant that is detrimental to sperm!!!!
We ordered pre-seed and used it this cycle...it was good...but got another week until we see if it was REAL good!!!

Princess, it's so good to hear from you again! :hug: I'm so sorry that you and Belinda are back here... but also kinda glad to have some old faces again. Which I know sounds really insensitive and cruel, but I hope you understand what I mean! I would much rather see both of you living happily in preggy-land, but I shall enjoy the time we have together again.

Monnie, it was a huge shock to me that lubricants are very sperm-unfriendly... What were they thinking?!
Feeling kind of bleh... DH is off at his audio gig (floating about on the harbour and being paid for it!) so I'm all alone... tired, counting down the days until the end of term (6 - wooo!) and pondering the thought of dinner alone, and whether I will cook or go take away... I've been completely ignoring the dietary instructions from my acupuncturist, and I think I'm going to be paying for it soon!

Thanks ladies...considering we've never seen a follicle on a scan - yes it was the best damn one I've ever seen! Rather attractive really (!)
I keep thinking that they must have it wrong. Just so nice to have some progress - we live in hope.
As for the FS, she said it is likely to increase by 2mm tomorrow and then release. Obviously when I get the + Seratec (OPK) to ensure we do the jiggy jig..but she didn't say not to try now? It's natural right?! Of course DH is really anxious because I am saying "surely it can't hurt to have some one ready and waiting" and he isn't sure because he thinks "Dr's orders".
To be honest we were both a bit delerious and can't recall exactly what FS said... ha ha
Monnie - preseed, does it have additional benefits? (along with being sperm friendly) and can this be purchased at the chemist? hope it helps you out!

It's actually an internal lubricant...similar to the consistency of EWCM...so apart from adding to the "enjoyment" of the experience, it also is actually supposed to nourish the sperm and provide an optimal sperm enviroment!!!
You can order it through lullaby conceptions (they advertise on BB)...for 6 vials, it's about $30...so it's not something you use everyday...but on special O days!!!

Well I am just plodding along trying not to think about 'it' too much but that is not working. I am going to be talking to my sister tonight who lives in London so that should keep me occupied for a little while ooh and we are going to put up our Christmas Tree tonight. I know it is a day early but DH is out tomorrow night and we want to do it together. How exciting that Christmas is coming now only for one last wish .....
