Erin, you're worrying us all here.
Is everything ok - or have you been kept in for ob's (um, pretty sure I'm talking to myself here lol)...

Hello everyone, sorry to worry you....thanks for all your posts!!! Had a heap of tests done at the hosp yesterday.......the doc was about to do a blood test when he checked my back. He thinks it's something to do with my spine, as when he pushed on it, it hurt right through to my chest. So he has given me pain relief, told my DH to massage it & apply deep heat!!! So far no stress. However am waiting on the urine test results, I get them tomorrow as there were high levels of protein...but hopefully that's just a UTI that will go away.
Thankyou everyone for your kind words.
Hi Erin
Glad to hear that it’s nothing too serious. I would not recommend using deep heat, check out this thread

Oh glad to hear things are looking ok *PHEW*
I had a pinched nerve between my ribs on my LHS, as they were forced up by bubs and it was quite painful a lot of the time, but it didn't sound like what you have so I didn't mention it, but maybe see a physio to see if they can do anything, mine was able to give me some relief from it, but unfortunately it was short lived, but the pain do go away after DD was born :D
Take care and hope the results come back with just a UTI, not that a UTI isn't painful, but much better than HELLP Syndrome as I know a few friends who have gone through that :(!
Hope the urine tests shed some more light...I also thought I had a back issue and went to a physio - but apparently that was referred pain from the chest. And it was PE after all...Don't want to stress you anymore, the urine will reveal all :).
I think this is a great thread that proves the rule listen to no-one until you have sought professional advice.
There are some things that are universal for all to share in the journey.
Other things are not really for us to diagnose but to merely offer where to go.
Chest pains. See your doctor. If absolutely worried-call an ambulance.
000 gives better advice than Google.
Glad you are ok!
