From what you have said I to really feel like everything will be ok. There is nothing to indicate that the baby has this chromosome abnormality, if baby can appear healthy on a 20 week scan and did look healthy how can they possibly say that they have known for so long of this problem without investigative testing.:
I was told with DD2 that the professionals had no doubt in their mind that she had down syndrome, her nuchal measurement was 10mm, massive! She does not have downs syndrome, she did have CHD and required surgery at birth however apart from those 16 days from birth she is not likely to require any further surgery, much different to the initial diagnosis (the one prior to my CVS)
