I had a Barholins cyst exactly like what you describe about 18months ago. It kinda popped by itself and GP drained it a bit more. Was embarrassing but GP said quite common. I'd never heard of it before!! My nickers rubbed for a while which probably wa the most annoying thing.
It felt weird. Hopefully you can get things sorted so you feel better soon!
I second the yoghurt. And also teatree oil in the bath, it's antibacterial.
Last year I had a whole year of vagina troubles!! :lol: Infection after infection, it was horrible :( I actually had some thrush cream in the cupboard so that saw me through the itching.

I had a cyst too recently.. it was bloody huge... and annoying! Heat packs... they help release the pressure which causes the itchiness and pain... then ice which reduces the swelling... I went to my GP who said I did everything already and it was healing which was why it was so itchy....
When I get thrush I have a really hot bicarb bath - I find it kinda numbs the area and sooths too.
Definitely hanging out for this bicarb bath and yogurt tomorrow. So sore, swollen, invariably painful. I've been in tears on and off all night. Arghhhhhhh!!! I even dread peeing because that will set everything off and make it a million times worse. Wtf vagina! Wah :(
PZ I get horrible thrush while pg and after all the natural remedies didn't shift it I got a suppository treatment and a thrush cream that contains both an anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory (it's in a blue tube, forget the name). This was at 36 weeks and honestly I decided better to kill it off than to give birth with it going on. My GP suggested both to me.
I wish I'd done it earlier, would have saved me weeks of misery. My symptoms were exactly the same as yours btw, very dry and sore. :( Hope you feel better soon.
