Wonderful news on your scan Possums, I'm so happy for you and DH
Hi ladies,
this thread is so interesting!
Possums - yay on your scan! and have confidence in your actupuncturist. Someone said something similar to me early in my pg, and I was just too scared to believe them. I should have, and then I would have been more relaxed and actually enjoyed my pregnancy.
Marydean - sorry I am so late in getting back to you, I have been away.
The book "Spirit babies" by Walter Makichen (a clairvoyant medium) is about spirit babies, guardian angels and reincarnation. It's subtitle is "how to communicate with the child you're meant to have" and was recommended to me by a friend after my second pregnancy loss.
I am not very good at summarising, but here goes: It describes spirit babies as waiting to be born, sometimes needing assistance to connect with their birth parents (or moreso the parents needing to connect with their spirit babies) and sometimes the spirit babies "test the water" and leave, either not quite ready to make the journey to earth baby, or sometimes needing only a short experience. The spirit babies are often connected to their parents from previous lives. It is very interesting.
If you google the author and title you can reach the website - worth a look.
BTW - my DD also has stalk marks on the base of her neck/incarnation chakra and also on the back of her skull. what is the significance of these? I do note that I think my DD looks like my late mother :)
Starbright - I like to think that my DD has come "back" to me too, that she is my first angel returning to me. Perhaps she was just testing the waters the second time, and for whatever reason wasn't strong enough to stay. Perhaps we weren't ready? Perhaps I needed to "learn a few lessons" (that I won't go into here).
Cassius - I loved your post - I never knew this about you and Marta! hugs hon!
Anyway, that was my two cents worth! :grouphug:
milly... i definatley had lessons to learn, as did my DH, both on our own and as a couple. We would not be the people nor the parents we are today if not for our Angels.. its one of those things that in some ways brings me to being ok with losing them, because i DID learn lessons, and i have changed because of them that i am a much stronger and more confident and together mother for them now
WOW. What a fantastic thread! I had never thought about when a soul actually enters the baby's body. It's great to hear everyone's replies. It's goose bumpy stuff!
hi everyone,
interesting thread, after reading your posts what are people's thoughts over recurrent miscarriage ? last year i had 3, one at 9 weeks and 2 at 5 weeks, i had a falling out with my family following the third (my mum was completely unsupportive and nasty and influenced the whole family so we no longer speak, it was the most difficult year of my life).
so i guess im left thinking why this has all happened, we are still trying as im thinking there is a baby out there for us as one seems to be trying to come through but now im wondering if the lesson was just bringing things to a head with my mother and there will be no more babies.......i would welcome any thoughts, i hope this makes sense
I had an interesting discussion about this with my osteo yesterday. When she was pregnant with her 3rd child she was telling her older 2 about her pregnancy. She explained to them that she had been married once before and she had had a miscarriage while with her ex. Her eldest (who was 4 at the time) said "yeah, that was me". (So cute). We talked about the idea that our babies souls are with us waiting to be born, so if they don't join us this pregnancy, they'll just catch the next one, ITMS.
My osteo also mentioned about the soul being able move in and out and becomes anchored sometime in the second trimester. She had a dream around 5 months into pregnancy with her eldest of a bear running towards her. The bear collided with her and then was gone. After that she felt her baby's soul was anchored.
She also told me about a friend of hers who now has 7 kids. She fell pregnant when her 4th was only 4 months old and didn't feel she could cope with another baby so soon. She chose to end the pregnancy, but had a lot of discussion with her baby to explain how she felt and that he should stay close as he could join her when the timing was better. It helped her to feel at peace with her decision and he baby did become #5.
While I'm sharing others' experiences, I may as well add my own. I haven't told anyone this before and I don't think I understand it myself. My miscarriage was missed and was discovered at 10.5 weeks. At almost 9 weeks, as I was drifting off to sleep, but definitely before sleep as sleeping with m/s was difficult, I was visited by a woman (who I think of as Sophie/Sophia) who placed her hand on my stomach. I felt soothed and soon went off to sleep and didn't think another thing of it. I thought she was just relieving my m/s and anxiety. Until I started bleeding a week later. Now I wonder if she actually came to call my baby back.
Just thought I'd share.
That gave me goose bumps Tuesday's child!
