Working as an ED nurse in the past most people do not get pain from an ectopic until it bursts or is about to. My pain was in the opposite side to were the ectopic was and I had pain in my shoulder. Apparently my symptoms were very unusual and they said it was refered pain. I never had pain in my right side which was where it was. Even once removed I continued to have pain in my left side. They also said my pain wasn't bad enough to think it was ectopic and it shouldn't have gone on for weeks as its usually a sudden onset of severe pain. Also my surgeoen said he was surprised I got as far as I did as alot of tubal ectopic pregnancy burst at around the 7week mark. In saying that most people I know have been further along then that.
babyjo I hope in a few days we are laughing this of and celebrating happy news that they have found bub safe and well.
